| Addons | Drake-Infused Forgiveness 1.3.0Modifies the Drake-Infused Blood talent so that canceling out of the Drake Aspect dialog does not consume accumulated kills. Last Hope archery training 1.5.10Last Hope basic training in weapon shop. p.s. I was very annoyed with inability of rogues for use of bows or slings. Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.5.0Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
Features:
Extra Dungeons 1.5.5In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.) Current mod features: Talent Training 1.5.10Add an option to buy points at Last Hope's Elder Actually Useful Artifact Steamguns 1.3.0Increase the range of artifact steamguns to at least the range of an ordinary steamgun of the same tier. Frequently Asked Questions: Exponential Leveling 1.5.5Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up. Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. How to use this addon: - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
- Start a New Game.
- Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
- You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
Operating Modes: - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
- Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
- Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
- Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes): - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
- All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
- MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.
POINTS COMPARISON (Example: Cornac Rogue at lv50): STATS | TALENTS | GENERIC | CATEGORY | PRODIGIES | MAX HP | STAMINA VANILLA | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 958 | 247 BALANCED NIGHTMARE | 181 | 127 | 101 | 9 | 5 | 958 | 247 BALANCED INSANE | 217 | 145 | 119 | 12 | 8 | 958 | 247 BALANCED MADNESS | 269 | 166 | 140 | 20 | 17 | 958 | 247 EXTRA POINTS | 212 | 171 | 150 | 14 | 17 | 958 | 247 CHEATISH | 1140 | 560 | 539 | 102 | 202 | 958 | 247 ONLY LIFE | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 1252+ | 247 + ALL RESOURCES | - | - | - | - | - | 1252+ | 396+ All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat. Update v4.0.3
Unrandom Egos 1.5.5No wide random numerical ranges on ego modifiers. Harbinger 1.5.6 Auto-Acceptable Acrobatics 1.5.0OBSOLETE This addon is now part of the base game as of version 1.6 Changes the targeting of the talent Technique/Mobility-Tumble so that it is aimed the same way as Vault, making it usable when auto-accept target is enabled. ID leveling after main company 1.5.5Addon allows to level up above lvl 50 in ID after completing main company. Only Ruined Dungeon is changed. Unlike Infinite500 addon, which is much deeper, there no other changes. When winner complete Ruined Dungeon quest and entering to Infinite Dungeon: adventurers_unlocked 1.4.8Allows adventurers to play the game with any combination of other class skills. The adventurer class can now use Skirmisher talents, Stone Warden talents and Cursed Aura, as well as the Tinker system. It also starts with a steam generator, and because I also tend to play with Adventurer Tweaks, it starts with two extra talent and generic points, three extra stat points, and has a mastery of 1.3 in all categories. More Mastery 1.3.1Increases the mastery value increase to 0.4, and removes the 1 increase limit. Tinker Tinkering 1.5.0A collection of small quality-of life tweaks for tinker-using characters in the Embers of Rage DLC. Notable changes:
(License note: This addon uses a modified version of an image by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.) Spell Merchants 1.0.1 Tomes of Knowledge 1.2.4Do you dislike it, when your escortees die on harder difficulties at the zone in, without you being able to help them? Do you sometimes feel as if money was worth little to nothing in Maj'Eyal? If so, this addon might help you. The library of Last Hope now sells seven Tomes with on-use-rewards, that mirror those of seven escort-types. The library of Elvala sells two (very expensive) tomes, that lead to even greater rewards after using them. Fixed: talent types are now known, but not learned Prodigious Progress 1.3.0Include information in certain prodigies' requirement descriptions about how much progress you've made thereto. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Experience Controller 1.5.5
Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes. You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.
How to enable/disable or configure this addon:
Modes functionality:
---
Update v4.0.1 * Fixed a few typos and minor logging issues
Update v4.0 * Compatible with TOME v1.7.4 * Added multiple customization possibilities in-game and reworked functionality of all the addon Forbidden Cults 1.5.9Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
Opt-in Adventurers Parties 1.1.0Presents a dialog when you attack or are attacked by an adventurers party or hostile ziguranth patrol on the world map, prompting you to either evade or fight. The behavior of this dialog can be controlled by the "Adventurers party response strategy" options under Game Options in the <Esc> menu, allowing you to specify "always evade" or "never evade" as the default behavior. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Passive Cooldowns 1.3.0A tweak to the Minimalist UI to show the effect cooldowns of various passive talents and prodigies with triggered effects in the buffs area. Affected talents in the base module:
Affected talents from the Embers of Rage DLC:

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Encumbrance Bypass 1.3.1Gives you a maximum Encumbrance value of 50000. Allow Respec Anywhere 1.2.3Auto-usable Wards 1.3.0Modifies objects that confer the Ward talent to provide two separate talents: an instant-use, no-cooldown talent Choose Ward and the original talent, renamed Apply Ward, which now activates the ward type selected via Choose Ward. The author is assured that this arrangement will make wards easier to use with the game's auto-use functionality. Possessor Bonus Class 1.5.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Store Restocker 1.5.5Alternate Zones Option 1.1.0Adds a game option "Alternate zones" to enable or disable (or optionally force) v1.0.3's new alternate zones, either globally or individually by zone. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Inferno Race Pack 1.4.0Adds a collection of my races. Ignore Race/Class Locks 1.1.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for races and classes, allowing characters to be created using locked races and classes. Doesn't actually unlock anything. Frequently Asked Questions:
[License note: This addon uses a modified version of an image by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.] Poisons Reward 1.5.3Adds the Cunning/Poisons tree as a reward from Assassin Lord for siding with him. Increasing Cunning/Poisons and Cunning/Trapping, if already known. Stop Hitting Yourself! 1.5.0Gives you a chance of dodging your own arrows or sling shots based on your Danger Sense talent level. Useful for archery-using characters (other than Archers, who are already protected by Shoot Down) against monsters that can pull you to themselves and into the path of your own in-transit missile. Cat Point Cap Boost 1.5.5 Embers of Rage 1.5.0Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.5.5Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Showing Items Tier in Inventory 1.5.10This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables This mod is safe to use without starting new game Bonus Escorts 1.3.1Adds Wilder and Psion escorts. Improved Respec 1.5.10Uses version 1.5.10 LevelupDialog.lua as a base, but allows base stats to be respecced to 1 and unlearning of known categories. Items Vault 1.5.0Donators/Buyers bonus! Arcanum Class Pack 1.5.2Primary Features: Arcanist Features: Elementist Features: Enchanter Features: Archmage Features: Alchemist Features: Midnight 1.5.0Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes. Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation. Currently there are nine new categories. It also grants Sun and Glyphs to Sun Paladin at 1.3 mastery. Faster Run/Rest/Explore 1.0.6Important: this addon will have no effect if left unconfigured! Please read the description! Recommended settings:hit escape -> video options
Description:Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers. These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers. Just be careful when resting on an escort mission... Changelog:See the forum discussion for the changelog. Angelus Errare 1.4.6Increases the chance for special farportal events after winning the game. Eases access to the eidolon plane for roguelike winners. Expanded Shop Inventory 1.3.0Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items. Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab. Select your Escorts 1.5.0Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game. There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior. Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign) To reach me faster, please leave a message on the Steam Workshop page. I don't get notifications on te4.org so I may take longer to reply. Escorts Enhanced 1.3.1Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Half-Finished Bone Giant Nerf 1.2.3Modifies the Half-Finished Bone Giant undead starting dungeon boss to be less overpowered: Sholtar 1.5.5Sholtar have no racial talents of their own; instead, the four slots can be used to learn talents from defeated enemies (of a high enough rank). In this manner, the Sholtar can improve nearly any class by adding abilities from other calsses, or even talents that are normally exclusive to NPCs. --- The Sholtar were once a great nation, with many vasts cities in the southeastern regions of Maj'Eyal. In spite of the harsh, dry terrain they inhabitied, or perhaps because of it, they were a people of great ingenuity and adaptability. The Cataclysm which tore the world apart centuries ago swept nearly all of the Sholtar lands into the murky depths, and all but erased their people from the face of Eyal. While very few survived, those who did fought for survival with all of the wit and grit that was their birthright. An already adaptable people grew to become even more adaptable through neccessity, and it has become their greatest strength. Sholtar are able to learn abilities by carefully studying others, and, regardless of their class, they can always improve by incorporating the talents of others into thier skill set. Temporal Warden Tweaks 1.5.0Assorted quality-of-life tweaks for Temporal Wardens. If you know at least one talent in the Chronomancy/Blade Threading or Chronomancy/Bow Threading trees, then:
Wall Clock 1.3.0A small modification to the Minimalist and Classic UIs, adding an interface element that displays the current time. (This is intended for use by players who play in full-screen mode, thus obscuring their computer's usual clock.) In the Minimalist UI, the clock element can be moved and resized in the same manner as other interface elements (via the padlock icon on the toolbar in the lower right corner); in both UIs, the clock's time format can be set via the "UI | Wall clock format" game option. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Egress Artifact Codes 1.5.10Forbidden Cults tweak that adds lore drops containing the random artifact codes that exist for the Occult Egress. This doesn't give you any more artifacts than you would normally get, but makes them easier to find. Verdant Class Pack 1.5.10Content is modular and various sections can be disabled via the options. [Plot Item] Type: chest / sher'tul When carried: It can be used to transmogrify all the items in your chest at once (also done automatically when you change level), costing 0 power out of 1000/1000. This chest is an extension of old Sher'tul places of power. Any items dropped inside are transported to an other place, processed and destroyed to extract energy. The byproduct of this effect is the creation of gold, which is useless to process, so it is sent back to you. When you possess the chest all items you walk upon will automatically be put inside and transmogrified when you leave the level. Simply go to your inventory to move them out of the chest if you wish to keep them. Items in the chest will not encumber you. |
