| Addons | Grey Out Unusable Items 1.0.2 (1.7.2)This addon shows inventory items in dark grey if they have a power source incompatible with your character. Arcane items are greyed out for antimagic characters, and arcane disrupting items are greyed out for characters with arcane abilities. Never accidentally break your spells again! Balanced Wanderer Trees 1.2.5 (1.7.4)This addon gives the class and generic trees equal weight, so trees like Survival are not extremely common. Audiomancy 1.2.1 (1.7.4)Version 1.2.1 released Jan 16, 2023; see change notes. Audiomancy is an audio enhancement for ToME that does not affect music. It started with the High Quality Sounds mod (thanks to Gurkoz), but it does a bit more than replace sounds. It enhances the code introducing random variance, layering, and new trigger points. Weapon types (sword, great axe, mace, sling, bows, etc.) have distinct sounds in combat, along with NPC types having different impact sounds. Many weapons have distinct critical hit sounds as well. Ranged weapons have separated attack and hit sounds. Melee and ranged talents you would have expected to produce sound before likely will with this mod. Multiple hits trigger multiple sounds, e.g. the Volley talent. There is still more to do, especially in terms of providing distinct sound effects for various game mechanics and talents, but the code as-is will affect almost every sound played in the game while adding more. I attempted to maximize compatibility, replacing a single function and using superloading and hooking for the rest. Feel free to reach out to me with any issues you discover or ideas/suggestions you may have on Steam or at theclawhorn@protonmail.com. Version 1.2.1: Version 1.2.0: Version 1.1.0: Automatic Notes 1.5.7 (1.7.0)Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:
Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes". Frequently Asked Questions: Bugnibus Bugfix Pack 1.0.0 (1.7.0)Combines several separate bugfix addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
Frequently Asked Questions: TS Inventory Squelching 1.0.1 (1.5.10)Clear up inventory clutter and focus on the items that matter. This addon allows you to hide items that aren't any use to your character so you can carefully inspect those that do, and suffer from less inventory fatigue over the course of a playthrough. This addon adds an extra dialog which is opened using Ctrl+D by default. The options should be fairly self-explanatory and mostly cover squelching individual item types, along with a few options useful to antimagic and undead characters, as well as the ability to squelch the mostly useless white items. Note that these options are tied to your character, so you'll need to set this up for each character you create. It also only applies to the transmogrification chest tab in your inventory; squelched items get their own special tab due to a variety of technical details. Items will be shown when they are picked up in the log, and artifacts will still show their lore popups. Squelched items will also be transmogrified when you leave the level, as normal. Directly copied from yrriban's addon, but updated to work for characters with Tinkers and with a few more squelching options. Everyone Options 1.0.1 (1.4.5)Starts characters off with category points instead of categories known. Interact with Sidekicks 1.2.4 (1.7.0)Provides an interface to interact with party members similar to the Interact with the Golem talent, by which yo ucan alter their equipment or spend their talent points. Also adds additional functionality like applying a rune or infusion directly to a party member, or managing its talent point plan in conjunction with the Talent Point Planner addon. Standard actions from the "Give order" dialog can also optionally be included, controlled by game option "Gameplay | Include party orders in interaction dialogs". The interaction dialog is bound to Alt-Shift-I by default, and can also be accessed by right-clicking on a suitable party member on the map or via the "Interact with Party Members" action on the main game menu. (NOTE: If you are using this addon in conjunction with the Talent Point Planner addon, you will need to upgrade the latter to release 10.8.3 or higher for compatibility. Similarly, if you are using this addon with the ZOmnibus Addon Pack or ZOmnibus Lite, you will need to upgrade it to release 17.2.3 or higher for compatibility.) Verbose Enemies 1.1.2 (1.3.1)Makes the monsters of Eyal somewhat more talkative...and prone to insulting you. Featuring taunts from Gaslamp Games' roguelike Dungeons of Dredmor! Also now featuring the EXTENSIVE taunt collection from the iconic Dredmor mod, Death By A Thousand Taunts. This mod was created by Deeborm, and is only included with their approval. Three cheers for Deeborm! Relive your dredmor adventures in the world of Eyal. You can also add your own taunts! To do this create a file named verbose_user_defined_taunts.cfg and place it in your settings folder where it can be friends with all the other .cfg files. Inside this file put: All taunts (base Dredmor taunts, Deeborm's extended dredmor taunts, and custom taunts) can be toggled from the in-game settings, in the Misc tab. Addon Versions in Character Sheet 1.0.0 (1.7.0)Modifies the addons list on the online character sheet to include both the addon version (if available) and the minimum supported game module version (in parentheses if both are present). Alternate Merchants 1.0.0 (1.7.0)Adds the forge-giant item crafting system from Hammer of Urh'Rok to Age of Ascendancy. Shoot Tweak 1.0.0 (1.5.5)This addon will cause all actors to generate with the 'Shoot' talent. Useful for Adventurers in particular. Escorts Enhanced 1.2.0 (1.7.0)Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Start Choice Fix 1.0.0 (1.7.4)Fix an 'error' when a race-class conbination is noted as 'nolore' but fail to show the warning text, for I'm not sure if it is intented. Live-Updating Locked Tooltip 1.0.0 (1.7.6)Allows information in locked tooltips to be updated. Recaiden's Evolution Prodigies 1.5.3 (1.7.0)Includes 4 new Class Evolutions:
Isn't Zephyr already a class? Lumberjack on the Map 1.1.0 (1.7.0)Places the Cursed Village event on the map as a lumberjack NPC rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map and Merchant on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Die in Obscurity 1.1.1 (1.3.0)Adds an option to the Online tab that can disable the broadcasting of death messages. Additionally, can suppress death messages for characters under a specific level. ZOmnibus Addon Pack 17.8.5 (1.7.4)Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Showing Items Tier in Inventory 1.1.0 (1.7.2)This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables This mod is safe to use without starting new game Escort Rescheduling 1.3.1 (1.7.0)Slightly adjust the random level selection for escort quests to avoid levels with zone bosses. Details & discussion here:http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=38670 Yakri: I'm making a couple changes suggested in the mod thread, and testing for errors/incompatibilities in current version of TOME. All credit goes to Null, and FailPail for creating the creepfix. Changes: Recaiden's Undead Racepack 1.3.5 (1.7.0)This is a compilation of my undead race addons. This will always be the most up-to-date version. Mummy Wight And adds a new prodigy for any undead: Dreadmaster Chinese translation by gooder1029 Friendly Patrols 1.0.1 (1.7.4)Changes Maj-Eyal & Far East world map patrols to always be friendly by altering their faction (and hate for arcane magic). Thank you for trying Spell Merchants, I hope you enjoy my mod :)
My other addons:
If you like this addon please consider rating it :) Don't Use the Unusable 1.0.0 (1.7.0)Modifies the use-item dialog, removing the "Use" action for activatable objects in inventory if the object must be worn/wielded to activate it. Better Item Description 1.3.3 (1.7.4)This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness Most important thing to remember it's not recommended to use this mod if you'r new to the game No Talent Caps 1.0.1 (1.7.6)Removes talent level caps. This is balanced to just allow to go beyond level 5 without Infinite Dungeon shenanigans, it doesn't give any advantages or points' Weight: 293587 Morvarc'h's Improved Escorts 1.0.2 (1.7.4)Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. Loot Expansion (Shad3 fork) 1.0.13 (1.7.4)An expansion of loot types and ego affixes A fork of Wayback's loot expansion (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/loot) No Ruined Dungeon Puzzle 1.0.2 (1.7.4)Changes the Ruined Dungeon sealed door to open upon killing all six Guardians in lieu of the sequential orb interaction puzzle. Two-Handed Dual-Wielding Counts 1.0.0 (1.7.0)If you are wielding a two-handed weapon in mainhand and another weapon in offhand (via Ogres' Grisly Constitution talent or various addons), arranges for your melee weapon damage to be recorded as both two-handed weapon damage and dual-wielded weapon damage for purposes of satisfying prodigy requirements (notably Windblade). Long Range Bows 0.0.1 (1.7.6)Increase range of all Bows to 11 grids. Melinda on the Map 1.4.0 (1.7.0)Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. Class Start Priority 1.0.0 (1.4.9)Edits class birth descriptions to ignore the lore-based race checks when assigning the starting zone. Any race that is not flagged with a no-start-override (i.e. all standard races aside from undead) will now be able to begin in class-based starting areas, such as those for Archmages and Chronomancers. Notably, this should allow most addon races to access these starting areas. Consolidated Artifice 1.1.0 (1.7.0)Modifies various trap-preparation and tool-preparation tools from the Cunning/Traps and Cunning/Artifice trees to simplify preparation of tools and traps. Trap Priming, Cunning Tools, Intricate Tools and Master Artificer are changed to passive talents that modify the behavior of the expanded trap/tool selection dialogs under Trap Mastery resp. Rogue's Tools, from which all desired trap or tool preparation can be done at once. Frequently Asked Questions: TLR's Stat Changes 0.9.0 (1.6.7)My personal twist on and combination of "Moderately Generous Levels" by Chaotic Heretic, and "Constitution Viability Buff" by Raenarill. This is my first ToME mod, so bear with me, I'm still working on balance and stuff, just give me constructive criticism please! Leveling changes: + 0.2% resist all per level, so 10% at level 50, 20% should you reach level 100. +1 to all saves per level up to level 50. Constitution changes: Uncloak of Inconvenience 1.2.5Sets undead starting faction to Allied Kingdoms so you won't die mashing buttons in the world map because you had the AUDACITY to equip that Wrap of Stone. Adventurer+Multi Evolutions 2.2.3 (1.7.0)Allows Adventurer to take any class evolution prodigy, adds an option to allow any class to take multiple evolutions, and adds an option to remove requirements from prodigies. Should be compatible with all evolutions from addons and future updates. Normally prevents you from selecting an evolution for a class that adventurer doesn't get any talents from (any class not possible on random bosses, or stone warden when not playing dwarf/drem), but this restriction is removed if you also have zizzo's addon Slightly More Adventurous or my addon Much More Adventurous. Slightly More Adventurous 1.1.0 (1.7.0)Allows Adventurer characters to use some talent trees from addon-provided classes that would otherwise be inaccessible. More specifically: Adventurers typically are allowed to use talent trees for classes added by addons, unless those classes are flagged as not for use on random bosses. This addon bypasses that check, making talent trees from classes so flagged available to Adventurers. Mannendake's Improved Auto-explore and Rest 3.5.1 (1.7.2)Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. This is a fork of a fork of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks, forked by Dracos and then again by mannendake. This version fixes opening doors taking a turn and returns the fixedart icons to their respective lore entries. v3.5.1 *** FOR ToME v1.7.2 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. This mod provides several options to control it. These may be found by opening the Game Menu->Game Options->Gameplay menu. Feel free to customize to preference with the defaults meant to be free of questionable behavior. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Faster Run/Rest/Explore 1.0.6Important: this addon will have no effect if left unconfigured! Please read the description! Recommended settings:hit escape -> video options
Description:Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers. These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers. Just be careful when resting on an escort mission... Changelog:See the forum discussion for the changelog. Possessor Bonus Class 1.7.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Yakri's Stat Changes v2 1.0.1 (1.7.6)My personal twist on and combination of "TLR's Stat changes" by thelastraven, "Moderately Generous Levels" by Chaotic Heretic, and "Constitution Viability Buff" by Raenarill. We're pretty far down the rabbit hole of modding other modders mods here. I decided to make yet another variant here because I wanted a power up to some underwhelming builds However, this mod went much too far for my liking in terms of generic power boost, so I'm releasing my own version which mainly has changes Leveling changes: Level 2 is a "double" level, granting double the normal points (6 stat, 2 class/generic points) Max life per point increased from 4 to 5. Added 0.05 life regen/turn per point. Added 0.5 Stamina per point. I just tweaked some values, all credit goes to TLR, Chaotic Heretic, and Raenarill. New Gem Types 1.2.4 (1.5.10)Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Player AIoo 1.4.0 (1.7.6)This is a fork of PlayerGAI by Glavius itself a fork of PlayerAI by Charidan. Once you click ALT-F1 (you can change this key with Keybinding) 1.Auto explore You can weight the talent used by the AI by right clicking on your character and clicking on "Define Player-Aioo" at the bottom of the dialog box. It will Stop when your character is low on life, when you are on an Exit, when a dialog box open, or you are blinded. !Warning: Use it at your own risk. This can put your character in a sure death situation! Goal: Known Bug: Quick Combos 1.1.0 (1.7.4)Lets you link together instant talents so that you can use them with one button press. Utility Supplies 2.12.0 (1.7.0)Adds useful items to the game. Currently supported:
[NOTE: Due to a game bug involving the transmogrification chest and activatable objects, we recommend that users of this addon also use the Activatable Object Cleanup addon.] No More Level Ten Warnings 1.0.1 (1.7.0)Removes the "only offers talents at level 10" warning, allowing you to spend category points in advance. Chat/Quest Tweaks 1.3.2 (1.7.0)Changes the quest log descriptions of a few quests to provide useful information or fix missing information, tweaks a few chat dialogs for stylistic improvement, and adds NPC portrait images to some chat dialogs that were missing them. Frequently Asked Questions: Elkan's Infinite Dungeon Tweaks And Zlefin's Fixes 1.2.4 (1.7.4)Infinite Dungeon challenges occur on every level after the first. Rewards are tweaked to be a little more generous, and character advancement after level 50 does not slow down until after level 1000 instead, this version disbles mirror matches. (From Elkan) Skirmisher Evolutions 1.5.2 (1.7.4)Adds the following evolutions: Mudsligner: Fateslinger: Fearslinger: Blightslinger: Crystalslinger: Battle Skirmisher: Sunslinger: Dreamslinger: Note: Age of Ascendancy specific requirements are waived in other campaigns. Select your Escorts 2.3.1 (1.7.0)Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game. There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior. Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign) To reach me faster, please leave a message on the Steam Workshop page. I don't get notifications on te4.org so I may take longer to reply. Fine Tune Mindstars 1.1.0 (1.7.4)Alters the Attune Mindstars talent effect. This addon will alter Attune Mindstars to allow you to choose any basic damage type (physical, arcane, fire, cold, nature, blight, mind, temporal, light, darkness, acid, lightning) for your mindstars damage type. Mindstars that do not teach Attune Mindstar (i.e. fixedart mindstars) will not be affected. Additionally, Attune Mindstars will also affect any telekinetically-wielded mindstars. Deluxe Wanderers Combo Mod 0.1.1 (1.7.4)New classes: the Wanderer, Magician, and Mentalist that get to choose their talents from a random list. The Wanderer variant covers all trees, the Magician most magical trees, and the Mentalist most mindpower trees. They also gain resource generating talents when they get a talent tree that requires them. Big thanks to starsapphire, FL0RENT_, and hauzer, whose work is all integrated here. Items Vault 1.7.6Donators/Buyers bonus! Improved Combat Text v2 Custom Edit 2.1.0 (1.6.0)This is a custom edit of the "Improved Combat Text v2" mod. All credit for the original work goes to to the original mod by Codefly
DescriptionThis addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
Custom Edit
The original addon is great, but I was always frustrated with the excessive amount of floating talent text and other garbage that just wasn't relevant to combat.

Note for LeoMaven or CodeFly
If either of you want to just steal my code and put it in your addons that is completely fine with me. Infinite Dungeon Challenges Fix 1.0.0 (1.7.6)Fixes a bug with infinite dungeon challenges caused by clones/summons Expanded Shop Inventory 0.0.4 (1.7.4)Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items. Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab. Turn Tracker 1.1.0 (1.7.0)Only for Minimalist UI Adds a UI element to display the predicted order of character turns for the next three turns.
NOTE: The game itself is not necessarily consistent about who goes first if two creatures are tied in energy. Beamerizing Beam! 1.0.0 (1.7.4)Flags magical beams appropriately and causes all such beams to benefit from wide beam targeting. Notably eye beam, dust to dust, moonlight ray, bone spear, and invoke darkness, because these are on vanilla spell-proc items, but also things that are technically beams such as sunburst and rift cutter. Visuals may be off because most of these talents do not expect themselves to be tampered in this way, but they'll damage things just fine. Logical Alchemists 1.0.4 (1.5.10)Makes alchemists focus on creating elixirs that you are not currently helping them with. Quickshot and Munitions Expert Evolutions for Archer 1.0.2 (1.7.6)Adds two class evolutions for Archer, the Quickshot and the Munitions Expert. As a Quickshot, the Archer gains the ability to equip a second quiver/pouch in the tool slot and has a 50% chance on archery hit to trigger a shot using ammo from your tool slot. As a Munitions Expert, the Archer gains the Munitions talent tree unlocked at 1.3 mastery. Provides three munitions sustains to enhance your shots with fire, poison, or piercing capabilities. Quality of Life Pack 1.0.0 (1.7.4)An assortment of quality of life modifications too insignificant to be standalone. Removed collapsible walls in the Sandworm Lair. (restoring auto-explore) Changed the layout of the city Shatur to be more open and less annoying to move around in. Changed the Dwarf's starting zone boss to die after killing one summon instead of ten. Characters that have won the game are far more likely to trigger the special farportal events. True Full Respec Mastery Boost 1.1.8 (1.7.6)Allow trial and error for character building without restarting new game while minimizing inbalance. You can respec stats, talents, categories and prodigies freely at any time. Based on Full Respecialization. Fix the bug for prodigies learning introduced v1.7. Yakri: I wasn't stoked about the inability to respec starting categories, as I'm a huge weirdo who likes to unspec things I don't like and mastery boost other categories. This version buffs the mastery increase from 0.2 to 0.4 as well. This is rolled in because mastery boosting is incompatible with category respec mods. I am not the original mod creator, I just updated the update youhei created based on Full Respecialization by Time to Die Weight: 100 Superload: EquipDoll - Clean Item Names 1.0.3 (1.7.2)Makes clearer view of EuipDoll by replacing item egos list with actual name, and tuning a font a bit Merchant on the Map 1.3.1 (1.7.0)Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. No NPC Aggro 1.0.5Stops npcs going hostile when you accidently hit them with something. The Abashed Expanse is a part of Eyal torn apart by the Spellblaze and thrown into the void between the stars. Spellblaze FalloutsIt has recently begun to destabilize, threatening to crash onto Eyal, destroying everything in its path. You have entered it and must now stabilize three wormholes by firing any spell at them. Remember, the floating islands are not stable and might teleport randomly. However, the disturbances also help you: your Phase Door spell is fully controllable even if not of high level yet. * You have explored the expanse and closed all three wormholes. | done |

Transmogrification Chest2.0 sher'tul chest [Plot Item] Unknown While carried: Transmogrify all the items in your chest at once (also done automatically when you change level). Uses 0 power out of 1000/1000 This chest is an extension of old Sher'tul places of power. Any items dropped inside are transported to an other place, processed and destroyed to extract energy. The byproduct of this effect is the creation of gold, which is useless to process, so it is sent back to you. When you possess the chest all items you walk upon will automatically be put inside and transmogrified when you leave the level. Simply go to your inventory to move them out of the chest if you wish to keep them. Items in the chest will not encumber you. |
