| Addons | Loot Expansion 1.7.4Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example: Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat. Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff. Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level. All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have. This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues. In the meantime, please check it out and post any questions, concerns, or tuning feedback. This addon is now DEPRECATED and might cause bugs. Instead, please use the Inferno Race Pack! Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.7.4Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
Features:
Rise of the Ooze 1.7.4Adds Oozewalkers, antimagic powered undead who are incapable of using infusions but gain powerful racial talents. They also begin in a new starting town (shared with Oozemancers). Full Details: Reward from Storming the City with the Oozing Cradle: Class: Revamped Wyrmic 1.7.0A variation on wyrmics, as a multi-elemental debuff-centered class. The core of Wyrmic is: Then, a wyrmic picks one of the six natural elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Sand, Acid, or Poison. Each element has a single ability available right away, and a set of advanced skills that require a category point to access. Apex Predator - new generic tree that fills in a few gaps and lets you wear gems. Credits Compatibility Other Void Scholar - Celestial Class 1.7.0Adds the Void Scholar, a twisted Celestial class themed around cosmic expansion and the emptiness of space, featuring a unique starting scenario. Void Scholars are dedicated spellcasters with poor durability, but many ways to negate damage and debilitate foes. Their spells are ineffective against nearby targets, but grow incredibly potent when cast at a distance -- strike from the depths of infinity, where no eyes or blades can reach! They use a unique resource called "Void Energy" that is built up by casting certain spells and quickly disperses when out of combat, requiring careful management to retain momentum. Unique talent trees: All things come to an end, adventurer. Those who place themselves above the slow march of the cosmos should take heed not to stand upon nothing. Tinker Cave for Everyone 1.7.0Places the entrance to the tinker cave from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) on the world map for all characters in the Age of Ascendancy campaign, without requiring that the character be playing a Tinker class or rescue a tinker escort. Race: Wrathwrought 1.7.4Adds wrathwrought as a new subrace. They are psionic focused humans. Stat modifiers: +2 Strength, +1 Dexterity, +0 Constitution, +0 Magic, +4 Willpower, and +3 Cunning. Life Rating: 12 Experience Penalty: 10% Racial talent tree: Unstoppable Wrath - Passively increases immunities to stun, confusion, pin, fear, silence. The Savvy Fighter - Passively increases critical chance, critical power, Armor Penetration and Accuracy. Faster Stronger Better - Passively increases Global speed, Physical speed, movement speed and all damage done. ---Changelog Tinker Cave Blacksmith 1.7.0Modifies the Ancient Automatated Teacher from the Embers of Rage DLC (required), adding options for the player to purchase the Steamtech/Blacksmith and Steamtech/Engineering talent trees. A companion piece to Tinker Cave for Everyone; they can be used together or separately. Strapless Steam Generators 1.7.0Modifies the Mirror of Reflection, adding an option to hide or restore the front straps of any attached steam generators from the Embers of Rage DLC. Sun Paladin + Evolution Buff Pack 1.7.4Buffs talents for Sun Paladins, as well as their evolutions. Sun Paladin
Avatar of a Distant Sun
Adventurer+Multi Evolutions 1.7.0Allows Adventurer to take any class evolution prodigy, adds an option to allow any class to take multiple evolutions, and adds an option to remove requirements from prodigies. Should be compatible with all evolutions from addons and future updates. Normally prevents you from selecting an evolution for a class that adventurer doesn't get any talents from (any class not possible on random bosses, or stone warden when not playing dwarf/drem), but this restriction is removed if you also have zizzo's addon Slightly More Adventurous or my addon Much More Adventurous. Forbidden Cults 1.7.4Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
Class: Shining One 1.7.0A new demented class, the Shining One. This addon requires the Forbidden Cults DLC to function. Celestial Spellcasters who have been overcome with madness and become more and more like unto Luminous Horrors. Shining One talents do not appear on enemies. Old Talents: New Talents: Advanced Talents: Escorts Enhanced 1.7.0Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Odyssey of The Summoner (for ToME 1.7.4+) 1.7.4Howdy, this is Kamani. The current page for OotS content is: https://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?p=247326#p247326 I mostly tested OotS with EoR, Cults, and Ashes enabled, but it should work fine without them. Disclaimer: This is NOT a full release. There WILL be errors and unpredictable behavior. I am patching things out actively, so play with discretion and send as much feedback as possible to the forum thread to accelerate the completion process! Expanded Details: Recaiden's Evolution Prodigies 1.7.0Includes 4 new Class Evolutions:
Isn't Zephyr already a class? Deathknight 1.7.4Adds the Deathknight class. See forum thread for details. Pre-Paid Hiemal Shield 1.7.0If you capture a soul via Soul Leech (or other method) while you are at maximum soul capacity and your Hiemal Shield is depleted, allows you to store the soul in a temporary Hiemal Buffer to be used to pay the soul cost the next time your Hiemal Shield regenerates (normal mana costs still apply). [License note: This addon uses modified versions of images by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.] Multi Evolutions Fork 1.7.4Allows Adventurer to take any class evolution prodigy and adds an option that allows any class to take multiple evolutions. Do not use with another version of the same addon, they are not compatible with eachother. Class: Spellweaver 1.7.6Adds the Spellweaver, a Mage subclass who creates custom spells with Spellweaving components. Note: If you need to make a bug report, please use the forum thread: https://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=53519 astralInferno's Celestial Oddities 1.7.0A combination of all my celestial addons; Firmamancer, Primal Chosen, Trench Strider, Radiant, the Empyreal fork, and the newly added Bloodtide Cultist. Arcanum Class Pack 1.7.3Primary Features: Arcanist Features: Elementist Features: Enchanter Features: Archmage Features: Alchemist Features: Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
ZOmnibus Addon Pack 1.7.4Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions: Inferno Race Pack 1.4.0Adds a collection of my races. Items Vault 1.7.6Donators/Buyers bonus! Barbarian Evolution for Berserker 1.7.2Adds a new class evolution for Berserker, the Barbarian. As a Barbarian, the Berserker loses the ability to equip body armor, but gains the ability to wield a two-handed weapon in their off-hand. Additionally, they will unlock Technique/Duelist and Technique/Dual Weapons at 1.0 mastery. Finally, each turn the Barbian attacks a foe, they will automatically eneter a blocking stance to deflect damage with their weapons, potentially setting up deadly counter-strikes. Divine Class 1.7.6Adds divine class. Very OP. Draconians 1.7.2Adds Draconians as playable race. This version of the addon is tweaked to allow Defiler classes. Attempting to fix for 1.7 by removing the dracolich function, as I'm not well enough versed in coding to make it compatible. Ritual 1.7.4Allows for spending gold to increase attributes and unspent points. Mage Knight 1.7.0Adds the Mage Knight metaclass, and its six sub-classes. Forum discussion thread: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=48329 Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down. Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations, or even outright compulsions. Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move. Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain. Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition. Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools. Select your Escorts 1.7.0Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game. There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior. Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign) To reach me faster, please leave a message on the Steam Workshop page. I don't get notifications on te4.org so I may take longer to reply. Dual-Classes Reworked by AscendingPhoenix 1.7.4Allows the player to pick two classes, but the difficulty scales upward. (Original by StarKeep, modded by Raenarill). In order to activate this addon, look at your Game Options for a new tab. Zilquish Race 1.7.0Adds the Zilquish race, an artificial lifeform created by necromancers based on the accidental birth of the first skeletal ooze. They're tough, and can use natural talents. Comes with one secret unlockable feature, and one less secret unlockable feature! They will be added to the racepack on its next update, but for now here they are alone. This addon is now DEPRECATED and might cause bugs. Instead, please use the Inferno Race Pack! Possessor Bonus Class 1.7.4Donators/Buyers bonus! White Monk 1.7.6Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass. The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers. Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes. Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy. Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself. Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool. Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility. Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks. Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes. Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes. Follow one of the Six Ways with a set of class evolutions for the White Monk: Way of the Rushing Bull Way of the Flying Arrow Way of the Open Palm Way of the Arcane Flow Way of the Transcendent Spirit Way of the Hidden Viper Full details in the forum thread. The Burning Coals 1.4.9This was created by Speeder, who has not played in 5+ years under that name. This addon is yet another OP human subrace, it features strong fire and light based racial talents, extra quests, dungeons, and items that give more character building points. The difference between this addon and the one uploaded by speeder is the racial passive on speeder's was set to reduce life reduction each talent point instead of the advertised fire damage, I removed the life regeneration reduction and re-enabled the fire damage. I did this because this race would have amazing synergy with The Shining One demented class and I wanted to do a playthrough like that. Class: Elder Wyrmic 1.7.6A new wilder class. New Talent Trees: (with some similar, old skills from wyrmic/oozemancer) Wild-Gift/Venom Aspect Old Talent Trees: Technique/Combat Training Class meant to be played on all difficulties but madness, it is too weak for it. Knight Evolution for Bulwark 1.7.4Adds a new class evolution for Bulwark, the Knight.
As a knight, you learn how to protect the Weaks and defeat the Evils.
You gain:
Spirit Horse Talent - Sustain. Gain shield and movement speed while active.

Our ultimate goal on the mainland is to get rid of the Sunwall once and for all. A Ritch PartyTo do that we will prepare a special surprise to help our final attack. Go to the Ritch Hive in the mountains north of the ErĂșan desert and collect a big pile of ritch eggs. About 30 viable eggs should be sufficient. When you have enough, find a tunnel leading north and use the special sand shredder gloves tinker to open a path under the Gates of Morning. Finally, place the eggs in a protected spot to hatch. With luck, they will provide a distraction while you later assault the city. * You have collected enough eggs. * You have tunnelled close enough to the Gates of Morning. * You have placed the little surprise. | done |
All the few remaining orcs of the mainland have been captured by Sunwall and their western allies. Children of Garkul, Unite! To ensure a future, any future, for our race they must be freed. The internment camp is located somewhere to the north. The orcs are subdued into obedience by a powerful psionic, Mindwall, and guarded by elite Sunwall troops. Mindwall must be taken care of and the prides set free. But BEFORE that you should go and destroy the Sunwall Observatory to the east, as our spies have found a way to resist Mindwall's psionic powers which requries ingredients from there. * You have destroyed Mindwall body but he managed to split his mind into many pieces and taken direct control of the subdued orcs. Destroy the pillars in each level four other levels. * You have freed all the Vor Pride orcs. * You have freed all the Rak'Shor Pride orcs. * You have freed all the Gorbat Pride orcs. * You have freed all the Grushnak Pride orcs. * The Pride is once again free and united. | done |
Metash has asked you to investigate the Krimbul Clan, south of the peninsula. Clan of the UnicornA whitehoof turned mad with power is trying to lead them in a war against Kruk Pride. | active |
The giants have breached the mountain-side of Kruk pride! HomelandThey are invading the town just when most of our forces are outside. Only you and few others are left to close the breach by collapsing the tunnel from the inside. * You have collapsed the tunnel, saving the Pride. For now. | done |
You have found clues about the legendary plumpkin. If you find more maybe you could find and capture it? Hunt for the legendary Plumpkin! You seem to have enough clues to enter the portal, which should be.. somewhere in Maj'Eyal.. | active |
You have found a bit of preserved yeti muscle, probably somebody somewhere will be interested. Mystery of the Yetis | active |
To win the war you must help the Pride by striking a blow to the giant's morale and supply lines. Of Steamwork and Pain* You have assaulted the Vaporous Emporium, crushing the morale of the Atmos tribe. * You have explored the yeti cave and vanquished the Yeti Patriarch. | done |
Our ultimate goal on the mainland is to get rid of the Sunwall once and for all. StargazersOur scouts have noticed the Gates of Morning is being reinforced with sun and moon orbs. Go to the Sunwall Observatory and destroy everything there to reduce their supplies. * You have destroyed the Observatory, the Gates of Morning defenses will be weakened. | done |
The people of the sunwall have lingered on this land for too long and now they are spreading their control to all the mainland. This must not be allowed! The Deconstruction of Falling StarsWith the help of their newfound allies in the west they keep a permanent guard over the farportal. The portal must be permanently destroyed to prevent reinforcements. The leader of the Sunwall, High Sun Paladin Aeryn must be punished for her crimes against the Prides. | active |
Kaltor's shop seems to be nearby in the mountain. Maybe it could be interesting to pay him a visit? The Grumpy ShopownerHe does sound well armed, though, so be prepared as it is likely very dangerous. So maybe take some time to plan the raid. | active |
A group of trolls from the Kar'HaĂŻb Dominion is trying to take foot on the mainland. This is our land! With the Sunwall at full force we can not have the luxury of having to fight on both fronts, the Dominion port of the south must be destroyed. A potent bomb was given to you, you must place it at a weak spot of the tower where it will detonate and destroy the port. It would be a good idea for you to not be there anymore when the bomb explodes however. * You have destroyed the Dominion port, the trolls will not be a problem in the near future. | done |
The Atmos tribe is not our sole problem. The Sunwall as grown in strength since the Scourge from the West came and murdered the other Prides leaders. You Shall Pass! Our brothers on the mainland lay enslaved, but before we free them you must secure a way to the mainland. Go to the sunwall outpost. Show them the wrath of Garkul, show no mercy for they have none for us. * You have destroyed the sunwall outpost, and secured a way to the mainland. | done |
