Addons | Grey Out Unusable Items 1.7.2This addon shows inventory items in dark grey if they have a power source incompatible with your character. Arcane items are greyed out for antimagic characters, and arcane disrupting items are greyed out for characters with arcane abilities. Never accidentally break your spells again! Adventuring Party 1.7.4Tired of being alone on your adventures? Tired of being an archmage with no one to give that unique battleaxe to? Tired of having no one to use your healing spells on? Tire no more, for now you can create fully controllable additional party members to join you on your adventures, each as capable as your leader. Included is a sustainable talent to control each party member as their turn comes up to allow fully tactical combat when things get rough. -Grants the ability to add any number of additional members to your party each with their own race and class, allowing you to take on higher difficulties. -!Due to how alchemists are designed, you will not be able to take direct control of their golems if the alchemist is not your main character, but should still function correctly elsewise. For a list of changes, please see the change notes on steam or by reading the int.lua file included in each downloadable version. Loot Expansion 1.7.4Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example: Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat. Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff. Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level. All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have. This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues. In the meantime, please check it out and post any questions, concerns, or tuning feedback. Audiomancy is an audio enhancement for ToME that does not affect music. It started with the High Quality Sounds mod (thanks to Gurkoz), but it does a bit more than replace sounds. It enhances the code introducing random variance, layering, and new trigger points. Weapon types (sword, great axe, mace, sling, bows, etc.) have distinct sounds in combat, along with NPC types having different impact sounds. Many weapons have distinct critical hit sounds as well. Ranged weapons have separated attack and hit sounds. Melee and ranged talents you would have expected to produce sound before likely will with this mod. Multiple hits trigger multiple sounds, e.g. the Volley talent. There is still more to do, especially in terms of providing distinct sound effects for various game mechanics and talents, but the code as-is will affect almost every sound played in the game while adding more. I attempted to maximize compatibility, replacing a single function and using superloading and hooking for the rest. Feel free to reach out to me with any issues you discover or ideas/suggestions you may have on Steam or at theclawhorn@protonmail.com. Version 1.2.1: Version 1.2.0: Version 1.1.0: Automatic Notes 1.7.0Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:
Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes". Frequently Asked Questions: New Gem Types 1.5.10Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! OldRPG - Overdrive - 5 of 6 (A) OldRPG Player Sprites 1.6.5OldRPG Player Sprites continued. Wielded two-handed weapons will use the increased procs damage accuracy bonus To unlock the evolution, defeat Harkor'Zun as an Arcane Blade. Learning the Prodigy requires that you know Body of Stone and have at least 25 Magic and Strength. Improved Enemy UI 1.7.41. improve the default shockbolt of enemy, making them brighter and easier to find. Nargol 1.7.4Adds the Nargol as a playable Halfling subrace. Studious to a fault, yet racist to the core, the Nargol empire once dominated Maj'Eyal. Though their superiority complex has been much humbled by the Age of Pyre, their brilliant inquisitive minds have not. Nargol may take any combination of any four talents in their race tree, with more talents being unlocked later. 1. Concentrate: select a non-instant, non-fixed-cooldown talent. That talent will always be cast at effective level 4, but its cooldown will increase proportionally with how many levels this talent is effectively adding. If your selected talent has an effective level over 4, its cooldown will be reduced instead. 1. Space Out: each talent cast will increase your negative life slightly. 2. Recompose: select an activated talent that has a cooldown. If you are affected by any non-other debuffs, using that talent will reduce the duration of each by a percent of that talent's cooldown, spread out across all debuffs affecting you and with a minimum of 1. 3. Practice: select an activated talent with less than 10 turns of cooldown that does not change the world in a permanent way and does not have a fixed cooldown. Each time you kill a creature that is worth experience, the raw level and mastery of this talent will increase to a cap. 4. Hyperfixate: instant sustain. Each turn your talent cooldowns are halved at the cost of burning away your life. In addition, they have a secondary "Imperialist" tree unlocked by wearing the Crown of Command, then unlocking it with a category point: OldRPG - Overdrive - 3 of 6 (A) OldRPG Player Sprites 1.6.5Rework of OldRPG for compatibility with 1.6.5 and Forbidden Cults. Missing tiles from DLC are replaced by the original default tiles instead of blank tiles or ascii. There are two different versions of Part 3-6, A and B. This version (A) uses the OldRPG sprites and fixed paperdolls for almost all races. Glass Golem, Whitehoof and Yeti use the original tiles. Not every race/item combo has been tested so there may be some misalignments. New sprites for Worm That Walks and tentacles, all other Cults artifacts currently use the original sprites. You can also use a custom player sprite if you don't care about the paperdoll overlay. Original work done by krazycure, daftigod, chrambo, blooo, sevenredreturns.(Required, load A or B but not both) Forbidden Cults 1.7.4Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
Escorts Enhanced 1.7.0Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: OldRPG - Overdrive - 1 of 6 1.6.5Rework of OldRPG for compatibility with 1.6.5 and Forbidden Cults. Missing tiles from DLC are replaced by the original default tiles instead of blank tiles or ascii (if you are interested in contributing sprites for Cults please contact me!). After downloading and installing all 6 parts, make sure OldRPG 64x64 is selected as the tileset in game. Original work done by krazycure, daftigod, chrambo, blooo, sevenredreturns. Adds the race of Doomlings, demon-corrupted halflings, wielding destructive corrupted versions of the original halfling talents. Doomlings begin in the Searing Halls, and thus can get kidnapped by demons at high level. Racial Abilities

Arcanum Class Pack 1.7.3Primary Features: Arcanist Features: Elementist Features: Enchanter Features: Archmage Features: Alchemist Features: Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:

Currently they all start in the Trollmire, Allied faction, with the default Human quest. Suggestions for that stuff is welcome. DarkGod pretty much showed me how to do this, so thank you! Yeti/Whitehoof will be locked unless you've unlocked them in the Embers of Rage DLC. I'm still new at this, so let me know if there are any issues and I'll try to sort them out. V1.0.1 is up, I wasn't paying attention when I did it through TOME so I just got rid of the old version. This version should hopefully add in the random escort quests for the three races, since they weren't defined before. The original addon is great, but I was always frustrated with the excessive amount of floating talent text and other garbage that just wasn't relevant to combat.

You can drag the mouse to scroll, use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and left-click to set the currently viewed area (instead of accidentally traveling there, which can still be done via right-click menu). It also shows the viewport rectangle on the map, and if your computer is powerful enough, you can even show the actual terrain instead of the confusing color blocks, or make the walls red to easily find paths you have yet to explore. The player and zone exits are also displayed as icons on the map. Additionally, if you travel via the map and stop unexpectedly (i.e., you ran into your golem), a friendly dialog will pop up asking if you'd like to continue to your destination. This addon is meant to include all of them. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: โข 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. โข 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. โข Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: โข Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.7.4Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?

The Atmos tribe is not our sole problem. The Sunwall as grown in strength since the Scourge from the West came and murdered the other Prides leaders. You Shall Pass! Our brothers on the mainland lay enslaved, but before we free them you must secure a way to the mainland. Go to the sunwall outpost. Show them the wrath of Garkul, show no mercy for they have none for us. * You have destroyed the sunwall outpost, and secured a way to the mainland. | done |
