Doombringer Destroyer Reskin
This allows Doombringers to select a different Destroyer form than just the Champion of Uhr'rok. Nothing against the Champ, but maybe some characters wanna look a little different when they hulk out.
Now, the Destroyer can use any of the various demonic appearances, or even a number of non-demonic forms: a faeros of one size or another, a phoenix, and quite a bit more. Even dragons! (Wyrmics, you had your chance.)
The text of Destroyer has been very slightly tweaked to reflect the more general and/or personal effect.
I mostly aimed to include fire-elemental stuff, given the class, but there are some selections that don't really slot into either "demon" or "fire" — i.e., if you wanna morph into a big sandworm, that's also cool.
There are two ways to configure this addon, both only visible to Doombringers:
- The Cosmetic Options during character creation
- A button in the Esc menu accessible any time.
I suspect the chosen setting will likely also impact the temporary Destroyer mode granted randomly by demon statues, too, though that's one thing I haven't tested.
This addon has no mechanical component; it's purely cosmetic.
It is also very easy to fork and extend, if desired; just add a new entry — a name and a filename — to the destroyer_forms
table in DoombringerDestroyerForm.lua
. Height calculations are taken care of already.
Width-variant tiles are not currently supported.
ToME Spideproofed
Removes graphics from all spider enemies.
Mr Frog VFX Pack Lite
Replaces a number of visual effects with (hopefully) nicer versions. Shader support recommended. Overwrites some talent code in a minimally-invasive manner.
Edit: Replaced some core.shader.active(4) with false to force skip shader effects glitching on my device, I have to upload to play it in a online game. Bugging shaders are haze_aura, haze_vortex and radiant_aura. Sadly, I'm a noob for fixing shader issues myself :(
cleanui+++
Replaces default interface styles with cleaner versions to enhance readability.
ASCII/Modern Graphics Mode
Request from impsy on the Discord.
Modifies the "Modern" graphics mode to use ASCII tiles with backgrounds for terrain and some other elements, while using the Modern high quality graphics for creatures, items, and projectiles. To use, your Graphics mode MUST be set to "Modern", not "ASCII" or "ASCII w/ Backgrounds".
Unusual graphical issues may result, due to the mixing of graphics modes, especially with talents that create terrain.
Clean UI Easy Map Edit
Replaces default interface styles with cleaner versions to enhance readability. Fork of Gurkoz's Clean UI addon to make the Parchment UI gray.
Shockwave Balls: No OpenGL
Request from Jade Anhiga on the Discord.
Overwrites the definition for a few particle effects to always use the non-shader version, to make them run smoother on some hardware.

First release focuses primarily on replacing everything related to the default interface styles in the base game.
Future releases will enhance individual styles and take care of minor tweaks.
Content consists of only graphic assets to try and have the highest possible compatibility with future patches.
