| Addons | Ignore Campaign/Difficulty Locks 1.1.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for campaigns and difficulty levels, allowing characters to play campaigns and difficulty levels that you haven't unlocked. Doesn't actually unlock anything. Prowler Class 1.5.10Adds the Prowler subclass, a hybrid Wilder that uses stealth and mobility to take down their foes. Uses a combination of standard Rogue and Wilder talents, four new Wild-Gift trees and two new Technique trees. Prowlers are wild-rogues that focus on agile melee combat with psiblades or daggers and use their strong will to augment their abilities and call nature to their bidding. Infinite500 v3.0b: Revised high level play for ToME 1.5.0Version 3.0: Compatible with ToME 1.5.0 This addon supports game play for character levels higher than 50, primarily for the infinite dungeon (I.D.). This implements a number of subtle changes, rescaling game mechanics and balance for character levels above 50 in the Maj'Eyal, Infinite, and Arena campaigns for ToME. The intent is to make it possible (though certainly not easy) to reach level 500 of the Infinite Dungeon. This is not a nerf or a buff to game difficulty per se, but, rather, an extension of the well-balanced game play from the Maj'Eyal campaign to higher levels. Some talents and status effects have been adjusted to accommodate the higher character levels possible. You can see a summary of these by checking the "Infinite500" tab in Game Options. Once a character enters the I.D., the level 50 cap is removed and normal stats-per-level progression is enabled from level 51 onward. The limit on how high primary stats may be trained is removed (limited by character level as normal) and dependent computed value limits are also appropriately increased. No additional Prodigies are gained automatically after level 50. (Note that additional category points and (rarely) Prodigies can be gained by completing I.D. challenges.) Talent mastery levels can be improved more than once, and talent levels are unlearnable as normal in the I.D. NPC levels in the I.D. have been adjusted to be compatible with higher game difficulty settings. Most monsters and bosses from the Maj'Eyal campaign are imported into the I.D. along with their respective unique drops. Traps have been added back to the I.D. Isolated shops can appear randomly in the I.D. There is guaranteed to be at least one shop on level 1, and they become more common for the first few levels, and then more rare with depth. Random escorts may be randomly generated on each level in the I.D. unless a challenge has been started, until the normal number (9) have been attempted. The lichform quest is completed in the I.D. with a new random drop instead of automatically being completed at the appropriate step. There is a new greater vault in the I.D. that affects this quest. The Corruption/Hexes tree can be learned from a new random drop. Most major events from the Maj'Eyal campaign are enabled in the I.D., and there is a new event that can award the cursed-aura tree. Undead characters starting in the I.D. begin with an artefact cloak. This is similar to the Cloak of Deception, but its stats scale with character level and it can spawn randomly for other characters. This addon incorporates some modified game mechanics: Modified checkHit and checkHitOld functions are employed that allow for wider level differences between opponents (see http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35229). Things planned for the future: scaling of world artefacts with character level, map effects with dungeon level. CORE CODE CHANGES Engine: TOME Module: Other addons that affect these files might not be compatible. Alchemist Notifications 1.3.0Pops up a notification when you collect all the ingredients for an elixir in the Brotherhood of Alchemists quest. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack. Instant Level 13 1.5.9 New Gem Types 1.5.10Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Select First Escort 1.5.0Creates a setting under Game Options/Gameplay for selecting the This is intended to allow players to make characters that rely on a certain An advantage of this over addons that allow selecting the escort type when it Stoneshaper 1.5.0Adds the Stoneshaper, a wild caster. Stoneshapers manipulate terrain, creating or destroying it at need, and have been known to forge formidable weapons from stone. Playable Mummy Race 1.4.8Adds Mummies as a new type of undead that cripple their enemies and overcome any obstacle. Embalming increases Strength and Willpower Mummies begin in their own starter zone, a low-level dungeon reminiscent of both the Blighted Scar and the Elven Ruins. Mummies are initially locked, and unlock by defeating the Mummy Lord Round'em Up And Then Drown'em 1.4.0Drowning gets you good items but walking the whole big towns searching for rares is tedious. It works by overloading the town file with changed npc generation boundaries. I'm a programming noob (or even less), so go easy on me. There should be no errors though, only changes are 4 number values for each town. PS. I can't help but feel there was a better way of doing this. Sorry this addon is so heavy. Class: Astromancer 1.5.0A new class, a Celestial summoner who draws on the powers of Shandral's other planets to call up elementals. Their main resource is negative energy, which they generate by summoning and some other spells, and spent by others. This mod should be compatible with just about everything.
Sounds remixed from samples by Mike Koenig under CC-BY 3.0 Razakai's Reworks 1.5.10This addon is somewhere for me to test all my wacky ideas to see what might work in the main game. As the title states, it focuses primarily on reworking existing classes and categories. The first version contains a full Berserker rework. Berserker now has 3 unlocked unique categories: Bloodthirst, Might and Rage. 2H Assault has had a few improvements made. Talent icons from https://game-icons.net White Monk 1.5.10Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass. The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers. Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes. Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy. Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself. Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool. Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility. Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks. Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes. Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes. The lost city of Vulcus 1.4a 1.3.0The Lost City of Vulcus Some events in history are of such importance and have such wide ranging ramifications that they become fixed points -- junctions in time that must and will happen in order to maintain the integrity of the chronoverse. Lost ages ago, Vulcus was considered by many to be the greatest center of Dwarven learning below the surface. Even up until the fall of Reknor in recent times, however, Dwarven innovation and breakthroughs continued, seemingly by miracle. Fate, however, dictates that one of the greatest untold secrets of the Empire cannot remain hidden forever. Perhaps you will be chosen to take part in this crucial point in history -- to reap the rewards or to suffer the consequences. This addon incorporates a new major event (like the drake cave or fearscape invasion portal) that has a chance to occur (possibly more than once) on each level in various zones (Infinite Dungeon, Spellblaze Scar, Ardhungol, High Peak, Reknor, Shadow Crypt). Within the game, this event is most like a combination of the Lost Merchant and Limmir quests, and is intended to replace those for characters in the I.D. Recommended level 10+ (depending on class). The intended difficulty is slightly higher than the Limmir quest, and there are gradations of success. Participating in the event when it spawns is completely optional and you can do it later if desired. This is possibly the most complex encounter in ToME, with a large number of NPCs, enhanced AI, and various terrain effects. It is compute heavy and will tax slower computers (even with reduced graphics settings). Shaman 1.5.10DescriptionThis addon adds the Shaman as a playable class. Shamans are masters of elemental magic attacks, mindpower based summons, or good old fashioned melee weapons. Shamans use both their weapon sets and are encouraged to switch during the battle to adapt to every situation. They start with the Shaman's Path talent, a passive that gives them bonus adapted to their weapon sets of choice. 6 unique class trees (3 locked) : 2 unique generic trees : With the exception of 4 talents, Shaman talents can appear on NPC. DisclaimerThis is my first addon and first coding project, I can promise I tested this addon as best I could, but that does not mean it is without bugs. Please report any bugs you find and I will endeavor to fix them ;) If possible, please take discussions and bugs report to the forum thread I will make. CreditsNefigah for loving the Shaman idea and helping me more than a little with the coding. Chewbacca for testing Shaman maybe more than me. Micbran for correcting my bad english. Rexorcorum for the pretty awesome spirits and totems tiles. Orange because his name is lucky :frog: :robot:. http://game-icons.net/ for all the icons. Shaman path correctly given to everyone at birth. Updated shaman path description to reflect the scaling. Improved Staff of Awakening 1.5.10Makes the Staff of Awakening sentient and lets it upgrade itself with the power of absorbed bosses. Planning to add additional sentient weapons. Also adds a quest to make the Sher'Tul fortress fly again and a Sher'Tul race. Both are currently beta. Flight is mostly working, but I may have missed some glitches. UPDATE: I've added the ability to continue on to the embers campaign by entering the solar system and then returning to Eyal. True Respec 1.5.10Allow respec stats, categories and prodigies. Also remove location and last learnt restrictions. Revamped Skirmisher 1.5.10Revamps the Skirmisher class. All talents have been re-coded to remove artificial break points in scaling. In most cases, bonuses which were gated by talent level in vanilla will scale in from the first talent point, reaching approximately the same power at the talent level they were previously gated behind. Many attack talents' damage scaling has been adjusted to bring them more in line with other weapon attack talents. Max damage scaling values remain the same, but talents will scale up to to those values at a rate somewhat closer to other weapon attack talents. Many attack talents' stamina costs have been reduced to bring them more in line with other weapon attack talents relative to their damage/utility. Scoundrel is unlocked, master increased to 1.3. [Buckler Training] [Tireless Combatant] [Skirmisher Slings] [Called Shots] Zephyr 1.5.8 Sandworm Lair Tweaks 1.5.10Sandworm lair terrain is automatically revealed. Hope that makes it less annoying. Binds the Zone:create hook. This addon is safe to enable and disable on existing save files, though doing so will not have any effects for characters who have visited the sandworm lair already. Expanded Shop Inventory 1.3.0Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items. Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab. Longer Character Names 1.3.0Increase the enforced maximum character name length from 25 to 50 characters. Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite. Faerie Race 1.5.2This addon adds in a Faerie, or Fey, race into ToME. This addon was originally created by Kaballah, but he hasn't been online in over a year. --- The Fey are an incredibly quick and agile race, however they are incredibly fragile. Fey stats: Fey skills: -Flight -Fey Luck -Fey Speed -Fey Dust --- Dark Faeries are Faeries that have given up much of their natural agility and defense in exchange for bonus offensive potency. Dark Fey stats: Dark Fey skills: -Powers of the Dark -Fey Clone -Vision of the Shadows -Feyd to Black Deathknight 1.5.5Adds the Deathknight class. See forum thread for details. Ignore Race/Class Locks 1.1.0Nekomancer 1.5.10Adds the Nekomancer class. Nekomancers are summon-based mages that focus on debilitating their enemies while reinforcing their allies. They primarily deal physical and light damage. Uniquely, they do not use mana like other mage subclasses, relying souly on the soul resource. They use the soul resource in a much different way then Necromancer does, since they naturally regain one soul a turn. Combined with a relatively low soul maximum, they run completely counter to the standard ToME resources with tiny regeneration rates and huge maximums. Aside from the usual unlocked Combat Training and Survival, Nekomancer uses completely unique trees. It has 4 unlocked class trees, one locked class tree and two generic trees. Changelog: 1.0.1: Updated description somewhat Inferno Race Pack 1.4.0Adds a collection of my races. Angelus Errare 1.4.6Increases the chance for special farportal events after winning the game. In particular, we use images from the following authors: Poisons Reward 1.5.3Adds the Cunning/Poisons tree as a reward from Assassin Lord for siding with him. Increasing Cunning/Poisons and Cunning/Trapping, if already known. Midnight 1.5.0Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes. Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation. Currently there are nine new categories. It also grants Sun and Glyphs to Sun Paladin at 1.3 mastery. The Ruined 1.5.7Adds the Ruined, an afflicted subclass. Ruined are spell casters that have been twisted by the curse. Bladebender 1.5.6 Spell Blade Class 1.5.10Adds a new class into the game, a mage warrior hybrid. There can never be enough hybrid classes, right? The Spell Blade is a warrior that uses magic in order to enforce their attacks with destructive spells. v2.0 is a revamped version and is incompatible with old save files (too many talents were changed to work in a different way). Contains 6 new categories. Gladiator 1.5.10Adds the Gladiator, a warrior subclass. Gladiators are weapons experts and can wield one-handed weapons in either hand with ease, however they are also proficient with two-handed weapons and shields. Streamlined Early Game 1.5.3Removes the tedium of early-game world map navigation. Choose your Alchemist Elixir quest rewards at character creation, and configure your Rod of Recall to take you directly between pre-Dreadfell points of interest. This add-on does not affect game balance or difficulty. All races and classes with required starting zones must still complete those before they can take advantage of the new Rod of Recall functionality. Conveyance Reward 1.5.5This adds the Spell/Conveyance tree as a reward for completing the Tempest Peak questline for Angolwen. All the code is borrowed from DG's own, and thus everything works the same as antimagic characters getting Fungus. Revamped Anorithil 1.5.5 Logical Alchemists 1.5.10Makes alchemists focus on creating elixirs that you are not currently helping them with. It is time to explore some new places -- dark, forgotten and dangerous ones. Into the darknessThe Old Forest is just south-east of the town of Derth. The Maze is west of Derth. The Sandworm Lair is to the far west of Derth, near the sea. The Daikara is on the eastern borders of the Thaloren forest. * You have explored the Old Forest and vanquished Wrathroot. * You must explore the Maze and find out what lurks there and what treasures are to be gained! * You must explore the Sandworm Lair and find out what lurks there and what treasures are to be gained! * You have explored the Daikara and vanquished the huge fire dragon that dwelled there. | active |
You found notes from an explorer inside the Old Forest. He spoke about Sher'Tul ruins sunken below the surface of the lake of Nur, at the forest's center. Sher'Tul FortressWith one of the notes there was a small gem that looks like a key. * You used the key inside the ruins of Nur and found a way into the fortress of old. * The Weirdling Beast is dead, freeing the way into the fortress itself. * You have activated what seems to be a ... butler? with your rod of recall. * You have bound the transmogrification chest to the Fortress power system. * The fortress shadow has asked that you come back as soon as possible. The fortress's current energy level is: 33. | active |
As you approached Derth you saw a huge dark cloud over the small town. Storming the cityWhen you entered you were greeted by an army of air elementals slaughtering the population. * You have dispatched the elementals but the cloud lingers still. You must find a powerful ally to remove it. There are rumours of a secret town in the mountains, to the southwest. You could also check out the Ziguranth group that is supposed to fight magic. | active |
Various alchemists around Maj'Eyal are competing to gain entry into the great Brotherhood of Alchemists, and one or more have enlisted your aid. The Brotherhood of AlchemistsStire of Derth needs your help making an elixir of the fox, which can be used to permanently increase your dexterity and cunning by three. He has given you some notes on the ingredients: * You've found the needed vial of squid ink. * You've found the needed pouch of faeros ash. * 'Needed: one storm wyrm claw. I recommend severing one of dewclaws. They're smaller and easier to remove, but they've never been blunted by use, so be careful you don't poke yourself. Oh yes, and don't get eaten.' Marus of Elvala needs your help making an elixir of mastery, which can be used to grant you four additional stat points. He has given you some notes on the ingredients: * You've found the needed honey tree root. * 'Needed: one ice wyrm tooth. Ice Wyrms lose teeth fairly often, so you might get lucky and not have to do battle with one. But dress warm just in case.' * 'Needed: one multi-hued wyrm scale. If you think collecting one of these is hard, try liquefying one.' Agrimley the hermit needs your help making an elixir of focus, which can be used to grant you two additional class talent points. He has given you some notes on the ingredients: * You've found the needed minotaur nose. * 'Needed: one red crystal shard. I hear these can be found in a cave near Elvala. I also hear that they can cause you to spontaneously combust, so no need to explain if you come back hideously scarred.' * You've found the needed bear paw. Ungrol of Last Hope needs your help making an elixir of foundations, which can be used to grant you two additional generic talent points. He has given you some notes on the ingredients: * 'Needed: one naga tongue. Best results occur with tongues never tainted by profanity, so if you happen to know any saintly nagas...' * 'Needed: one skeleton mage skull. If the eyes are still glowing, please bash it around a bit until they fade. I'll not have another one of those coming alive and wreaking havoc in my lab.' * 'Needed: one vial of fire wyrm saliva. Keep this stuff well away from your campfire unless you want me to have to find a new, more alive adventurer.' | active |
