| Addons | Morvarc'h's Improved Escorts 1.7.4Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. Amazingly Generous Levels 1.7.4Is amazingly generous with talents, types and stat points for each level gained. + 5 to MaxHP per level. (Double at level 2) 4 stat points per level. (5 at level 2) Particle Cleanup 1.7.0An experimental addon that attempts to detect and remove "orphaned" particle display effects left behind by temporary status effects or sustained talents. The check is performed automatically on character load, and can also be triggered manually via the keybinding <Ctrl-Alt-Shift-P>. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. Player AIoo 1.7.6This is a fork of PlayerGAI by Glavius itself a fork of PlayerAI by Charidan. Once you click ALT-F1 (you can change this key with Keybinding) 1.Auto explore You can weight the talent used by the AI by right clicking on your character and clicking on "Define Player-Aioo" at the bottom of the dialog box. It will Stop when your character is low on life, when you are on an Exit, when a dialog box open, or you are blinded. !Warning: Use it at your own risk. This can put your character in a sure death situation! Goal: Known Bug: Clean UI 1.7.2Replaces default interface styles with cleaner versions to enhance readability. First release focuses primarily on replacing everything related to the default interface styles in the base game. Future releases will enhance individual styles and take care of minor tweaks. Content consists of only graphic assets to try and have the highest possible compatibility with future patches. Automatic Notes 1.7.0Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:
Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes". Frequently Asked Questions: Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.7.4Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
Features:
Melinda on the Map 1.7.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. Autosell Schematics 1.7.4Allows schematics to be transmogrified again. Extra Dungeons 1.6.7In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.) Current mod features: Tinker Implants in Shops 1.5.10This addon will add tinker implants and schematics into infusion and rune stores. Orcs DLC required, of course Tinker Tinkering 1.7.0A collection of small quality-of life tweaks for tinker-using characters in the Embers of Rage DLC. Notable changes:
(License note: This addon uses a modified version of an image by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.) Actually Useful Artifact Steamguns 1.3.0Increase the range of artifact steamguns to at least the range of an ordinary steamgun of the same tier. Frequently Asked Questions: Godfeaster on the Map 1.7.0Places the Godfeaster on the map instead of as a random encounter, and warns you about not being able to rod out. Essentially a copy-paste of Melinda on the Map. Exponential Leveling 1.7.4Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up. Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. How to use this addon: - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
- Start a New Game.
- Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
- You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
Operating Modes: - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
- Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
- Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
- Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes): - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
- All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
- MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.
POINTS COMPARISON (Example: Cornac Rogue at lv50): STATS | TALENTS | GENERIC | CATEGORY | PRODIGIES | MAX HP | STAMINA VANILLA | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 958 | 247 BALANCED NIGHTMARE | 181 | 127 | 101 | 9 | 5 | 958 | 247 BALANCED INSANE | 217 | 145 | 119 | 12 | 8 | 958 | 247 BALANCED MADNESS | 269 | 166 | 140 | 20 | 17 | 958 | 247 EXTRA POINTS | 212 | 171 | 150 | 14 | 17 | 958 | 247 CHEATISH | 1140 | 560 | 539 | 102 | 202 | 958 | 247 ONLY LIFE | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 1252+ | 247 + ALL RESOURCES | - | - | - | - | - | 1252+ | 396+ All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat. Update v4.0.3
Faster Egress Artifact Rolling 1.7.4Immediately gives you 3 appropriate artifacts upon entering the egress instead of having to brute-force combinations. Faster Run/Rest/Explore 1.0.6Important: this addon will have no effect if left unconfigured! Please read the description! Recommended settings:hit escape -> video options
Description:Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers. These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers. Just be careful when resting on an escort mission... Changelog:See the forum discussion for the changelog. Resourceful Wanderers 1.7.6Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:
Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well. These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order. Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description. Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else. Tinker Cave for Everyone 1.7.0Places the entrance to the tinker cave from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) on the world map for all characters in the Age of Ascendancy campaign, without requiring that the character be playing a Tinker class or rescue a tinker escort. Melinda on the Map - Bamboo Edition 1.7.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. This fork marks the sect as encountered so it works with improved recall. Cleaner Item Descriptions 1.7.0This is a fork of Better Item Descriptions that simply makes the tooltip larger and uses long phrases instead of abbreviations. If you hold ALT before mousing over an item, you can see its vanilla description. This mod is not meant for new players. If you ask what part of a description means, everyone gets to laugh at you. However, feel free to suggest better phrasing. Improved line-wrapping logic thanks to Joerle! Tinker Cave Blacksmith 1.7.0Modifies the Ancient Automatated Teacher from the Embers of Rage DLC (required), adding options for the player to purchase the Steamtech/Blacksmith and Steamtech/Engineering talent trees. A companion piece to Tinker Cave for Everyone; they can be used together or separately. Stealth Transmo 1.7.0Modifies certain quest artifacts so that using them while no hostiles are in line of sight does not break stealth. Currently supported:
ZOmnibus Addon Pack 1.7.4Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions:
License note: This addon uses images (or modified versions thereof) from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license. In particular, we use images from the following authors: Artificer Tweaks 1.7.0Assorted quality-of-life tweaks for Artificers from VanceVasser's Artificer Class addon (required). Included so far:
Schematic Recycling 1.6.6Undoes a small change in release 1.1.5 of the Embers of Rage DLC, allowing schematics to once again be transmogrified via the Transmogrification Chest or melted down in the Automated Portable Extractor. Possessor Bonus Class 1.7.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Forbidden Cults 1.7.4Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
Bikini Tinker 1.7.0Slightly modifies internal tinker implementation so that attaching or detaching a tinker on a bikini or mankini does not count as taking it off for purposes of the associated achievement. No More Rare Monsters 1.2.5Get rid of those constant one-shot encounters. Elites and Bosses untouched. Mannendake's Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.7.2Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. This is a fork of a fork of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks, forked by Dracos and then again by mannendake. This version fixes opening doors taking a turn and returns the fixedart icons to their respective lore entries. v3.5.1 *** FOR ToME v1.7.2 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. This mod provides several options to control it. These may be found by opening the Game Menu->Game Options->Gameplay menu. Feel free to customize to preference with the defaults meant to be free of questionable behavior. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Customizable LevelUp 1.7.2Provides an in-game menu to customize what, if any, additional benefits your character gains when leveling up. You can access these settings by going to the SparkLevel tab in the Game Options. Changelog 1.0.1 - 2020-12-31 1.0.2 - 2021-01-02 1.0.3 - 2021-01-02 Experience Controller 1.7.4
Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes. You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.
How to enable/disable or configure this addon:
Modes functionality:
---
Update v4.0.1 * Fixed a few typos and minor logging issues
Update v4.0 * Compatible with TOME v1.7.4 * Added multiple customization possibilities in-game and reworked functionality of all the addon Merchant on the Map 1.7.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Store Restocker 1.5.5Expanded Shop Inventory 1.7.4Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items. Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab. Artificer Class 1.7.4Adds an Artificer class to the game. Beware: Although powerful later on, artificers have a weak early game, and require a good deal of item management to succeed. This class may not be for everyone. Requires Embers of Rage DLC Auto Fight 1.7.6Takes an automated combat action for 1 turn, similar to DCSS Tab function. Lumberjack on the Map 1.7.0Places the Cursed Village event on the map as a lumberjack NPC rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map and Merchant on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Godmode Merchant 1.5.10Spawns an NPC that will grant you God mode, unlock any talent tree, add stat/generic/category/prodigy points, raise sub stats, give extra lives, set level, give gold, custom shop that sells (yellow/orange) Unique items and an option to imbue items, even uniques! (as long as you have the gems and item)! I wanted to make a customizable godmode so you can set your character's power, from just learning new spells to increasing character points and sub stats (to increase def. crits. ect.) to full blown invulnerability and insta kill! He spawns near the portal to Angolwen and in Gates of Morning. Will conflict with any mods that change the world map file (eyal.lua) *Will conflict with 'Spell Merchants' For a non-cheaty version, check out my other addon that adds spell merchants you can purchase spells from: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/master-spell-merchants Rebalancing 1.3.0Places a significant damage malus on certain bosses that became absurdly over-deadly with the changes in versions 1.6 and 1.7. Affected bosses:
Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.7.2Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Showing Items Tier in Inventory 1.7.2This addon add a column to inventory which show items Tier and allows sorting to show higher Tier first There is an option under "Game Setting"->UI->Sort Items by Tier by default items which is going to be transmo- and of type scroll (rune,infusion..), tinker or other without Tier specified will be placed at the top of the inventory to avoid occasional transmo of valuables This mod is safe to use without starting new game More Interesting Prodigies 1.7.0Secrets of Telos only requires one piece of the staff and doesn't consume it, and passively boosts equipment with talent on hit (spell) by increasing the level of the spell by 1, and the chance by half or 5%, whichever is greater. Lucky Day is completely reworked, every time you cast it you gain one unique artifact of your choice (that you haven't already found and isn't a quest/plot/lore artifact), but also increases all money gained and damage taken by 10% per cast, stacking multiplicatively. Can be cast any number of times, artifacts gained this way can't be vaulted Generalist replaces Tricky Defenses. When learned, you select one talent category from a different subclass in the same class and learn it unlocked at 1.3 mastery. Bullet Hell replaces Automated Reflex System. Your movement speed is squared (up to 2000%), and all incoming projectiles are randomly assigned a speed between 50% and 300%. (passive) Tinker Stores in Last Hope 1.4.9Adds tinker, steamsaw, steamgun and schematic stores to Last Hope. Big thanks to Razakai's Improved Stores mod for showing me how to create shops, and to Housepet for pretty much writing this addon. Items Vault 1.7.6Donators/Buyers bonus! Post Effects fixes 1.7.2The addon improves gamefield view during different post effects Here is details about what been changed: Communist Artifacts 1.7.4Equalizes the rarity of all artifacts, because I'm sick of seeing Girdle of the Calm Waters in egress. Visibly Distinct Subvaults 1.7.0Changes the appearance of the entrance to "sub-vaults" in the Orc Prides and High Peak to be different from the stairs down to the next level, to avoid confusion. EquipDoll - Clean Item Names 1.7.2Makes clearer view of EuipDoll by replacing item egos list with actual name, and tuning a font a bit Escort Rescheduling 1.7.0Slightly adjust the random level selection for escort quests to avoid levels with zone bosses. Select your Escorts 1.7.0Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game. There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior. Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign) To reach me faster, please leave a message on the Steam Workshop page. I don't get notifications on te4.org so I may take longer to reply. Technomancy Tweaks 1.7.0Assorted small quality-of-life changes for the Technomancer class evolution from the Embers of Rage DLC (required). Currently includes:
Quality of Life Pack 1.7.4An assortment of quality of life modifications too insignificant to be standalone. Removed collapsible walls in the Sandworm Lair. (restoring auto-explore) Changed the layout of the city Shatur to be more open and less annoying to move around in. Changed the Dwarf's starting zone boss to die after killing one summon instead of ten. Characters that have won the game are far more likely to trigger the special farportal events. Escorts Enhanced 1.7.0Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Grey Out Unusable Items 1.7.2This addon shows inventory items in dark grey if they have a power source incompatible with your character. Arcane items are greyed out for antimagic characters, and arcane disrupting items are greyed out for characters with arcane abilities. Never accidentally break your spells again! Staff of Bones Fix 1.7.0An experimental addon that attempts to clean up behind a long-standing bug with the Staff of Bones from the Forbidden Cults DLC (required). Should work preemptively or retroactively. Frequently Asked Questions: Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. Mighty Level Up Cheat 1.3.0Greatly enhances rate of point gain for talents, generics, stats, categories and even prodigies. No Talent Caps 1.7.6Removes talent level caps. This is balanced to just allow to go beyond level 5 without Infinite Dungeon shenanigans, it doesn't give any advantages or points' Weight: 293587 |

These wickedly spiked gauntlets belonged to an orc captain in the Age of Pyre who conquered the western sands, using them as a base to lay raids on Elvala to the south. Known as The Scorpion, he seemed unconquerable in battle, able to pull enemies towards him with vicious mental force and lay down lethal blows on them. Often a flurry of these yellow and black gauntlets would be the last thing great Shaloren mages would see before having the life crushed from them. Finally The Scorpion was defeated by the alchemist Nessylia, who went to face the fiendish orc alone. The captain pulled the elf towards him with a brutish cackle, but before he could batter the life from her flesh she tore off her robes, revealing eighty incendiary bombs strapped to her flesh. With a spark from her fingers she triggered an explosion that could be seen for miles around. To this day Nessylia is still remembered in song for the sacrifice of her immortal life to protect her people. |

Uses 4 power out of 25/25 During the Age of Dusk a rash of anti-magic activities took place in the Nargol Kingdom immediately after the Spellblaze. Citizens would turn on those with magical powers, burning them alive on stakes of wood. When the authorities found the perpetrators they executed them and planted their heads on stakes throughout their capital city. Despite this however, the citizenry continued to burn alive the enemies of nature. Unbeknownst to the authorities, the heads of the dead perpetrators continued to spread their message long after their deaths. This stake of wood appears to one of those used to prop up one of the executed heads. It has seemingly absorbed the will of the head it propped up, and holding it you can hear the Ziguranth's message echo through your mind. |
