| Addons | Alchemy Woes: Only One Provider 1.4.6Breaking out just the alchemy part of Regalion's mod, and making sure its 1.4.x compatible. Not thoroughly tested yet, but registering so I can just leave it on. This should prevent the other alchemists Infinite Dungeon Challenges Every Level 1.6.5 Gemblade 1.6.7Adds the Gemblade class, a (mostly) melee psionic who focuses their energies through a gem wielded in their offhand. Ghost Race 1.2.3Adds in a new Undead race, Ghost. Ghosts have a life rating lower than that of yeeks, but ghosts make up for this by sharing damage with their mana pool. Original Class idea and design by Faeryan Qlass Pack 1.6.7Adds several new classes and races: - Moon Fox race: Race that can radically transform class and generic talents by attaching tails to them. This addon also makes a couple other changes to make the Zephyr class work: Other than that, the addon tries not to affect existing classes/races/talents. The new classes won't appear on enemies or Adventurers. You may freely modify and redistribute this addon and its contents, except where otherwise indicated in the Credits section below. Weight: 134953 ===== Credits ===== Sounds: ===== Changelog ===== 1.1.0: 1.0.1: 1.0.0: Melinda on the Map 1.1.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. The Burning Coals 1.4.9This addon is yet another OP human subrace, it features strong fire and light based racial talents, extra quests, dungeons, and items that give more character building points. Credits: there are two lore images in the addon that I got from Deviant-Art, the author URL is this: http://nicholaskay.deviantart.com/ All other new art was based on existing Shockbolt's art, or made by myself using GIMP and Krita. The addon is "complete", but I want to add more quests and some other stuff later. changelog 1.1.0 The objective of this version is fix gameplay, there was several problems that weren't found during test with DevMode tools, and also due to blind good luck during testing.
changelog 1.1.1 Just a hotfix, to fix two bugs.
changelog 1.1.2 Hotfix again!
Race: Mummy 1.6.0Adds Mummies as a new type of undead that cripple their enemies and overcome any obstacle. Embalming increases Strength and Willpower Mummies begin in their own starter zone, a low-level dungeon reminiscent of both the Blighted Scar and the Elven Ruins. Mummies are initially locked, and unlock by defeating the Mummy Lord Dread Necromancer 1.6.7The Dread Necromancer is a complete reimagining of Necromancer - while it shares many of the themes and names, and has a few talents retained, it's effectively an entirely new take on the class. See the forum thread for full details. Class: Fallen 1.6.0Fallen has been added to the base game as an evolution for Sun Paladins This addon contains the original version, a base class afflicted/celestial hybrid. Fallen are unlocked alongside Sun Paladins. Please report any bugs on the forum thread. This class is originally inspired by the enemies John and Aluin, Afflicted Sun Paladins. Fallen have a mix of old and new trees. Celestial Combat Celestial Light Kobold 1.2.3Adds a new race choice (Kobold) which leads to two new subraces. Kobolds are small humanoid-like people, who inhabit the Thaloren forests and spend their lives among other rarely sighted legendary creatures, like woodland spirits and fairies. Inside the taxonomic family of Kobolds two different genera are known to exist: a common variant, simply called the Kobold, and the much rarer Gremlin. Their most notable feature is a set of supernatural sharp and strong teeth. According to some myths, Kobolds rely on it to feed on metals and gems, which isn't quite accurate however. Still, their poisonous bite is a dreaded weapon and Kobolds commonly fall back on it to defend their life or while hunting for food. A. The common Kobold: Stats: B. The Gremlin: Stats: Improved Staff of Awakening 1.4.9Makes the Staff of Awakening sentient and lets it upgrade itself with the power of absorbed bosses. Planning to add additional sentient weapons. Also adds a quest to make the Sher'Tul fortress fly again and a Sher'Tul race. Both are currently beta. Flight is mostly working, but I may have missed some glitches. UPDATE: I've added the ability to continue on to the embers campaign by entering the solar system and then returning to Eyal. Monster Class Addon 1.5.1Stat stacking gimmick test. Undead race locked unarmed magic/psychic/steamtech. Completely unbalanced, and somewhat lacking toolkit for defense/utility. Forbidden Cults 1.6.7Official Expansion! Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind. Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!
Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.
Escorts Enhanced 1.3.1Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs: Adventurer Tweaks 1.2.5Tweaks the Adventurer class so that its skill multipliers are equal to 1.3, as well as adding 3 stat poits, and two extra generic and talent points. Full Respecialization 1.5.5Allows full control over respecialization at any time. Grants the ability to respecialize all your attributes: stats, talents, categories, and prodigies. Categories no longer have a cap. Adventurers Pack 1.6.0Adds 3 new dungeons to the world map (blood soaked ruins, infested ruins & wolfmire) these dungeons will have unique boss and lore spawns. 8 new bosses have been added that will spawn in the new dungeons (they will also spawn in Infinite Dungeon) Over time I will be adding more dungeons to explore and bosses to defeat! I also have plans to create new mobs and mob variations, create unique artifacts and eventually implement a quest system to reward you for defeating the new bosses (since quests are not yet implemented bosses will drop gold upon death. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv Ignore Race/Class Locks 1.1.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for races and classes, allowing characters to be created using locked races and classes. White Monk 1.6.0Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass. The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers. Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes. Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy. Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself. Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool. Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility. Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks. Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes. Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes. Follow one of the Six Ways with a set of class evolutions for the White Monk: Way of the Rushing Bull Way of the Flying Arrow Way of the Open Palm Way of the Arcane Flow Way of the Transcendent Spirit Way of the Hidden Viper Full details in the forum thread. Discordant class (and others) 1.6.71) Add Discordant as playable psionic subclass. A psionic tank with death radius around them (think of Mindrot, but less sucky). Wins battle through attrition, melts trash mobs just by standing. Can also spam tele-frags if you feel like it. 2) Add Kudzu as playable wilder subclass. Invasive, annoying, and hard to get rid of. Master of crowd controls and area denials. Cover the world with fungus, lichens, moss, and kudzus. 3) Add Scorpion as playable rogue subclass. Stealthy brawler with poison fist. Pull in your enemy and dethrone them with chain of combos. 4) Add Critic as playable afflicted subclass. High-risk, high-reward, critical-centric class that use feedback pool as life. Overpower your enemy with overwhelming amount of Gestures, or die from receiving too much criticism. 5) Add Colossus as playable race. Artificial giant constructed by dwarves to guard their gold, has some non-living characteristics. Starts on Reknor (dwarf start). A durable race with some drawbacks. Also like gold. - This is a practice addon intended for personal use, but thank you if you decided to check it out anyway. Creditshttp://game-icons.net/ Changelog1.0.0: - Initial release Embers of Rage 1.6.7Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.6.5Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Better Sandworm Lair 1.5.10This addon aims to make Sandworm Lair less terrible. It does so by doing four things: Enabling natural tunnels, disabling burrowers, replacing the walls with their stable counterparts, and removing the alt version. These changes are accomplished by overloading the zone and npc files with edits and commented out sections. Please consider checking out the following addons that are probably better at dealing with the annoyance offered by SWL: codyfun123's "Sandworm Lair Tweaks" Updates: 1.0.1 Playable Wight Race 1.4.9Adds High Wights as a playable race: tough, psionic undead who arise naturally yet stand outside the natural order. Also adds Forest Wights as a playable race: undead with a connection to fire, light, and nature. Models by Rexorcorum. ID leveling after main company 1.5.5Addon allows to level up above lvl 50 in ID after completing main company. Only Ruined Dungeon is changed. Unlike Infinite500 addon, which is much deeper, there no other changes. When winner complete Ruined Dungeon quest and entering to Infinite Dungeon: Dance of the Edge 1.6.7Introduces the Blade Dancer, a dual-wielding Warrior subclass whose style revolves around shifting between different forms ("dances") in order to prevail in any combat situation. Each dance is quite powerful, becoming more so with more Talent Point investment, but only a limited number of dances can be active at once. The Blade Dancer's key trait is flexibility. There are myriad ways to build this character, all of them with great potential for entertaining gameplay. Class Features:Eight New Talent Trees - Five core dances: Dance of the Moons, Storm, Torrent, Mountain, and Leaf. Each dance improves aspects of your character, as well as granting access to powerful techniques while active. Spread your talent points across multiple dances, or focus on just one or two. Other Talent trees allow you to improve your dances or even mesh them together into deadly combinations. Unique starting Area - Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will start in a new, unique starting area, with a couple of novel critters and a new boss at the end. Class-Specific Quest - Upon finishing their starting area, Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will gain access to a class-specific sidequest that runs parallel to the main game. Completing this quest grants access to a nice peice of equipment. Auto-Scumming - Many of the dances raise your core stats while active. To keep the player from constantly ducking in and out of menus, stat requirements for gear and talent-learning will automatically adjust to accomodate those dances that are learned, but currently inactive. Other Addon Features:New Bosses - Not every Blade Dancer is a hero. A handful of renegades roam Maj'Eyal, looking to ruin someone's day... New Boss Artifacts - ...at least those renegade Blade Dancers carry some decent gear with them. Fallen Meditant class 1.6.0Adds the Fallen Meditant class. The Fallen was once a monk; training in a natural combat style upon a mountain. They have been cast down. Midnight 1.6.7Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes. Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation. Currently there are nine new categories. It also grants Sun and Glyphs to Sun Paladin at 1.3 mastery. Items Vault 1.6.0Donators/Buyers bonus! Bristlebarb 1.6.7DescriptionThis addon adds the Bristlebarb as a playable class. Bristlebarbs use no weapons but are covered in a living bramble that they can control. They use a special resource : thorns. 5 unique class trees (1 locked) : 1 Unique generic tree (locked) : Bristlebarbs can not appear on NPC. DisclaimerPlease report any bugs you find and I will endeavor to fix them ;) If possible, please take discussions and bugs report to the forum thread : http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&p=239099 Creditshttp://game-icons.net/ for all the talent and effect icons. https://opengameart.org/content/painterly-spell-icons-part-2 for the class icon and a couple others. In advance, whoever tries this out and gives me feedback so I can continue to improve it ! Changelog1.0.0 : 0.10.2 : 0.10.1 : 0.10.0 : 0.9.4 : 0.9.3 : 0.9.2 : 0.9.1 : Mage Knight 1.6.0Adds the Mage Knight metaclass, and its six sub-classes. Forum discussion thread: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=48329 Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down. Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations, or even outright compulsions. Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move. Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain. Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition. Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools. Fixed bonus dungeons trigger 1.6.5Make sure that ALL the dungeons will appear in your game. Dreamasaur 1.0.1Adds the Dreamasaur race, a dinosaur dreaming of a strange fantasy world. Consumes dreams to gain new abilities. This mod is mainly for personal use. No attempt has been made to achieve balance. If an @ symbol appears behind the character tile, you can download this: Put it in your custom tiles directory (win10 default: C:\Users\YourUserName\T-Engine\4.0\tome\data\gfx\custom-tiles) and select it at character creation. It is literally the exact same file but for some reason it works from the custom directory and not from the actual addon folder I guess. Merchant on the Map 1.6.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Hiveminder Class 1.6.7Adds Hiveminders, an insect-themed wilder class, as a birth option. Hiveminders are a melee class specialising in dual-wielded daggers or psiblades. They command their vast hivemind to lend them potent support and utility powers which make up for their lacking offense. Hiveminder talent trees include: Hivemind: Resonate your mind with your insects to enhance your perception and enthrall enemies! Hiveminders also have access to the Combat Training, Lethality, Call of the Wild, and Mindstar Mastery generic trees by default, and can additionally unlock the Fungus and Mobility trees through levelling up. Power is a subtle thing, adventurer. The smallest of factors can make the greatest of differences. Proper Possession Plus 1.6.1Original Mod by zizzo (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/possessor_fixes): Assorted improvements to the Possessor class (UI features additional info, possess all creature types, heal possessed forms). Additional tweaks by Kish: Longer duration on summoned forms, lower mana cost on Assume Form and Possess, lower cooldown on Assume Form, update form HP in body storage. Abomination Race 1.4.9Adds the undead abomination race. Abominations are the hideous result of callous necromancers fusing several dead bodies or loose appendages into one single being. They can augment themselves by assimilating more body parts to their being, even in the heat of battle. Abominations may grow considerably in size after being created and while such extra size may benefit them, growing too large slows them down. Their multitude of body parts makes them hardy and difficult to stun and their multitude of heads make their vision difficult to impair, however the vast amount of minds combined can make them more susceptible to confusion effects They have access to special abomination talents, that improve as they grow in size and constitution. Diversity Mod 1.5.10Allows usage of all races in all campaigns. This includes addon and DLC races. Should remain compatible with future updates and DLC, the transition from 1.4.9 to 1.5.10 did not require any changes, and I doubt any future transitions will. Currently includes support for: Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.6.7Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
