--- DESCRIPTION ---

This addon makes enemies in the world map patrol drop a fair amount of gold.

Every enemy generated via a world map ambush will drop ten instances of gold, averaging around one gold per instance. If used with the Spells Merchants addon by Akaviriblade, it adds a way to "grind" the patrols for gold so you can buy stat points and whatnot.

It should work with every mod, but please let me know if you get a compatibility error! :)

In addition to the normal golem slots of MAINHAND, OFFHAND, BODY, and 2 GEM slots, gnomish alchemist golems also get LITE, HEAD, CLOAK, HANDS, BELT, and FEET slots.

Additionally for tinker gnomes:
Your golem can equip tinkers too!
Your golem can use steamsaws, but you probably want to equip the golem with a steam generator.
Steamsaw Mastery is included in Golem Power for tinker gnomes.
Your golem can use both runes and implants.

Comments
There is not much new here. The goal of gnomes is to add more race variety.

A good amount of the gnomish alchemist golem changes were inspired by the "Golem - The Ironbreaker" addon.

The intent with the golems is to have a fun variant and potentially more useful in the mid and late game, and it fits with the gnome theme of cunning and tools.

I'm aware there is another addon named "Let there be gnomes" which was last updated in 2015, but this addon has nothing to do with it. Having never tried that addon I have no idea if there would be compatibility issues if you loaded them both (if you even could load a race addon that hasn't been updated in 6 years /shrug).

- v2.0.3 Fix iron gnomes stat description, set starting steam generator and injectors on tinker gnome to be marked for transmutation, and take out safety net lines that prevent classes that don't start with golem from learning golemancy.

Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:

• Insufficient or non-existent resource generation.
• Other dependant talents.
• Missing mastery talents.
• Missing items.
• Anything specific, like Chronomancy/Spellbinding and such.

Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well.

These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order.

Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description.

Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else.

A new class, a psionic archer who starts with the powers of hypnosis, light telekinesis, and control over fabric.
They use only Psi as their resource.
They are unlocked along with Mindslayers.

Class Talents
Technique/Psychic Marksman - Use willpower instead of strength and focus on shooting extremely accurately.
Technique/Psychic Shots - Shoot arrows that pierce targets, knock enemies around, or change direction midair.
Psionic/Idol - Surround yourself with hypnotic auras. The first 3 talents in this unusual tree can be learned in any order.
Psionc/Noumena - Strange manifestations of energy let you disable enemies and hide yourself from view.
Technique/Arrowstorm - (locked) Ranged Combat, but at close range.
Psionic/Unleash Abomination - (locked) Shoot arrows when attacked, shoot arrows when you shoot arrows, and make enemies into arrows.
Psionic/Unleash Nightmare - (locked) Put enemies to sleep and torment them in their dreams.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.

A new class, a Celestial summoner who draws on the powers of Shandral's other planets to call up elementals.
Their basic trees summon and support Fire, Ice, and Lightning Elementals, as well as providing utility effects.
Their unlockable advanced trees rain down Meteors and twist Time Elementals into being.
They start with Chants, and a new tree in the vein of chants and hymns. They can unlock Celestial Light.

Their main resource is negative energy, which they generate by summoning and some other spells, and spent by others.

Adds the Steel Drake category for wyrmics, and eventually also adds Steel Drakes.

This mod is designed to complete the game at the highest difficulty level. The mod does not affect the game experience of battles with monsters, it only adds the opportunity to become stronger for money. Every merchant in the world offers the player to learn new talent mastery, undergo special training, or create powerful artifacts. Each trader has their own requirements for the level of the player and pricing policy.

Mod features

Talents manipulation:
— Player can learn new talent masteries. 200 masteries from the original game are available. Talents from FC, EoR, AoUR add-ons are not supported.
— Player can increase the efficiency modifier of any mastery. The upper limit is 5.0.
— Player can forget all the talents of a certain mastery and restore all skill points spent. Some kind of respec.
— Player can sell the mastery he doesn't need. It will disappear from the list of available on the leveling screen, its level will be reset to 1.0. It's an easy way to get money without having to fight monsters directly. I strongly recommend it to your best try.

Special training:
— Player can upgrade their resources: Life/Stamina/Mana/Psi/Soul/Vim/Rage/Light/Dark. Training can be both limited in the number of times and endless.
— Player can convert one type of resource to another. For example, mana into life or souls into non-life (negative health). These workouts can be completed a limited number of times, and in general, you should not rely on them.
— Player can upgrade his primary stats: Strength/Dexterity/Constitution/Magic/Willpower/Cunning. All such trainings are limited: 3-5 times and you need to look for a new master.
— Player can gain new knowledge: additional talent points, categories or prodigies. A fully developed character is beautiful!

Artifactors:
— There are masters in the world who can modify items. They can work with 30 types of items, almost everything in the game. Every 2 levels, at least one level becomes available to the player.
— Player can insert an unlimited number of gem into any item. Each next gem increases the price of the work. The total price depends on the tier of the original item.
— Player can extract any (well, almost) magical property from an item by creating a shard of power. The shard can then be inserted into another item like a normal gem. By combining magical properties in this way, you can create very powerful artifacts. This is the best mod mechanic, but it requires a huge amount of gold.

Travel in world:
— Player can gain access to locations not provided for by the quest/class. In version 2, Point Zero(city of temporal warden) and island of Yrkkk became available. See the full travel map in the mod archive.
— Player receives a special item "Trade Notes" on the first conversation with any merchant. Notes automatically record all prices seen by the player. You no longer need to remember everything yourself, just read the notes.
— Player can enchant a transmutation chest for money before reaching the fortress of Sher-Tul. More money is always good.
— Player can find out the cost statistics when working with gem and shards.

Other:
— Supports russian language if ru-mod is installed(https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/ru_RU). The basic language of the mod is runglish(very bad english).

Mark sustained talents for easy reactivation after being disrupted by an enemy attack. From the Restart Sustains dialog (bound to <alt-shift-s> by default), you can select sustains to be restarted, arranging them in tree order as needed to ensure that certain sustains are activated before others. In addition, if any of these selected sustains is forcibly deactivated by an attacker, you will be notified with a log message and a noticeable particle effect.

Beholder race

Beholders resemble floating orbs of flesh with large mouths, a single central eye, and lots of smaller eyestalks on top with deadly magical powers. Instead of gaining category points as they level, they must absorb energy from arcane items to grow. They cannot wear most equipment, but have lots of tentacles and eyes.

Provides an interface to interact with party members similar to the Interact with the Golem talent, by which yo ucan alter their equipment or spend their talent points. Also adds additional functionality like applying a rune or infusion directly to a party member, or managing its talent point plan in conjunction with the Talent Point Planner addon. Standard actions from the "Give order" dialog can also optionally be included, controlled by game option "Gameplay | Include party orders in interaction dialogs".

The interaction dialog is bound to Alt-Shift-I by default, and can also be accessed by right-clicking on a suitable party member on the map or via the "Interact with Party Members" action on the main game menu.

(NOTE: If you are using this addon in conjunction with the Talent Point Planner addon, you will need to upgrade the latter to release 10.8.3 or higher for compatibility. Similarly, if you are using this addon with the ZOmnibus Addon Pack or ZOmnibus Lite, you will need to upgrade it to release 17.2.3 or higher for compatibility.)

My personal twist on and combination of "TLR's Stat changes" by thelastraven, "Moderately Generous Levels" by Chaotic Heretic, and "Constitution Viability Buff" by Raenarill.

We're pretty far down the rabbit hole of modding other modders mods here.

I decided to make yet another variant here because I wanted a power up to some underwhelming builds
that I've been running lately with a focus on constitution, too many different stats at once, or I
really just want to force one category to the moon for the theme I want.

However, this mod went much too far for my liking in terms of generic power boost, so I'm releasing my own version which mainly has changes
stripped out and nerfed from TLR's version in such a way as to create yet another unique variant.

Leveling changes:
Sets max level to 100, though you still get the bonus points at 50. Birth stats remain unchanged.

Level 2 is a "double" level, granting double the normal points (6 stat, 2 class/generic points)
Extra stat point every fourth level, starting at level 4.
Extra class point every sixth level, starting at level 6.
Gets rid of the extra class point and removal of a generic point at level intervals of 5.
One category point at levels 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 50, 75, and 100. Removed point at 34.
Two prodigies at level 25, and then one at 50, 75, and 100. Removed prodigy at 42.

Constitution changes:
Max life per point increased from 4 to 5.
Added 0.05 life regen/turn per point.
Added 0.5 Stamina per point.

Power comes at a price, but the price is worth paying...

This addon adds more Taints to the game.

Taints are Inscriptions powered by corrupt forces. As such, they are arcane so Oozemancers and other Zigur Zealots need not apply.
They do not get egos for scaling, instead they scale on a new stat called Taintmarks.
Taintmarks are a measure of how tainted by corrupted forces you are.
Each Taintmark increases the power and duration of Taints by 20%, but decrease you luck by 1 and increase the cooldown on nature gifts by 1.
Taintmarks are gained in many ways:
Each inscribed Taint grants a Taintmark.
Possessing a corrupt power source like Vim or Hate grants a Taintmark.
Being Undead, becoming Undead or changing your shape grants a Taintmark.
Giving in to your Hate grants a Taintmark.
Having Dark Ritual, Ruin or Blurred Mortality grant a Taintmark.
Having Blighted Summoning, Corrupted Shell, Bloodspring or Legacy of the Naloren grant a Taintmark.

Taintmarks are listed on your character sheet under stats.

Current Taints are only a little more rare than normal inscriptions. In v1 they will be much rarer but certain bosses will have a guaranteed Taint drop.

List of Taints:
Devourer: As before but also eats on of your own sustains for more healing.
Telepathy: As before but both effects have the same duration.
Darkness: Darkens the area, grants a temporary stealth boost and makes you activate stealth mode (even if you don't have it), but decreases your darkness resistance.
Vampire: Adds Life Leech chance and amount, but decreases your light resistance.
Blood Magic: Increases your Spellpower and lets you cast with life instead of mana/vim when needed, but decreases your physical save.
Reaper: Increases you physical power and restores resources on kills, but decreases your spell save.
Inversion: Grants damage affinity all, but changes some of your damage to healing.
Shade: Allows you to walk through walls and grants evasion, but reduces your healing.
Ghoulish Rot: Your hits apply Ghoulish Rot disease but your movement speed is decreased. Also blocks hits from being above a certain amount.
Banshee: Scream doing mind damage and causing confusion in nearby enemies, but silences you.
Bone Thorns: Sharp thorns sprout from your bones causing heavy bleeding damage to enemy attackers, but also causes you to bleed. Also increases armour and hardiness.
Blood Snare: Hurl a blood bomb at the target where it explodes, doing blight damage and pinning enemies. This blood bomb is made from your own blood.
Acceleration: Reduces cooldowns, but then they are on cooldown for longer when used.
Exchange: Removes debuffs from you then inflicts you with another random debuff.

Adds Outlander as a playable human subrace, he has VERY UNIQUE talents.
T1: learn skills from killed enemies with the cost of some exp.
T2: better chance to get egos on random items.
T3: control an enemy by paying money.
T4: boost player's rank.

v1.0.10: now it costs 100% - 20% current xp if you want to learn a talent from an enemy.

A small fix to equipment/inventory and store dialogs: the first time one is opened after loading a game, it will open with all inventory types selected rather than just weapons. Later invocations will remember the tabs selected in previous invocations, as per standard game behavior.

Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack.

Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items.

Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab.

Yakri: I'm making a couple changes suggested in the mod thread, and testing for errors/incompatibilities in current version of TOME.
I don't actually know any lua, so we'll see how much I can actually get done.

All credit goes to Null, and FailPail for creating the creepfix.

Changes:
Added Techniques/Combat Veteran to transcendent Fist.

Allows mobs that spawn with an entourage (such as Bandit Lords) for their entourage to be rares or randbosses. !!WARNING!! increases difficulty swing massively, especially early on.

Adds a new game option "Auto-transmo gems", which will place gemsof the specified tier or lower into the transmogrification chest when initially picked up, as with other items. The option is ignored if you have any talents that consume gems, as a convenience to Alchemists.

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite.

Adds the Viper class, an archer wilder who possesses great speed and access to nature damage.

Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. This is a fork of Movarc'h's Impoved Escorts by mannendake. Credit to Disnag for necromancer escort and Movarc'h for the base addon.

Adds the Mirrorblade, a chronomancer that calls upon his temporal twin. Unlike Temporal Wardens, Mirrorblades train exclusively with melee weapons, and only ever call upon one other timeline for aid. However, this specialized training has resulted in an extremely effective paired combat style.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack adds a screen widget that displays all of the life totals of nearby, non-party characters.

This addon adds more 1H staff egos that are based on some of the existing 2H staff egos, but with some of the bonuses toned down.

Adds two class evolutions for Archer, the Quickshot and the Munitions Expert.

As a Quickshot, the Archer gains the ability to equip a second quiver/pouch in the tool slot and has a 50% chance on archery hit to trigger a shot using ammo from your tool slot.

As a Munitions Expert, the Archer gains the Munitions talent tree unlocked at 1.3 mastery. Provides three munitions sustains to enhance your shots with fire, poison, or piercing capabilities.

Un-ego'd gear that can be upgraded! Soon to be expanded with custom art and more items..

Adds sunstone gear to the game, and a new type of ego based off of crystal hearts!

The art is not finished yet, but as is there are several character sprites to choose from along with sprites for the chest armor, swords, and sun crystals.

Sunstone is an armor type that provides bonuses to max life, blight and darkness resistance at the expense of being ravaged by acid.

Sunstone weapons provide damage conversion, and a slight bonus to penetration of their element.

And lastly, sun stones/crystals upgrade gear of white/green quality to artifact status. Increasing their armor and light/nature damage. In addition to providing some light damage on hit. (soon to be split into mossy (nature) and regular (light) variants.

Original description:

This is a fork of Cleaner Item Descriptions v2.1.4 (which itself is a fork of Better Item Descriptions) which makes Item Stats easier to read... There were just a couple tweaks I wanted to make:

This version:
- corrects a small miscalculation for the line length when looking at item stats (not configured for all zoom levels/custom settings)--this allows the stats to individually flow to the next line and line up the indents (even works when comparing items with +ctrl) without breaking between the stat_desc and number value.
- restores the 'stat seperator' as a white comma (a white / in default item desc)
- shows Str/Dex/Con etc. with the number value AFTER the stat_desc; ex: "Str +2, Con +1" (as opposed to other stats, which show BEFORE: "+5 Lightning, +10 Fire" etc.)

Known bugs:
- comparing a shield in the inventory when not having a comparable item equipped throws a lua exception

I don't actually know LUA programming, my main language is Java... As such, I have mostly left the original author's code intact (@Recaiden)

- "Stats" have an orange highlight and placed before others

Introduces the Blade Dancer, a dual-wielding Warrior subclass whose style revolves around shifting between different forms ("dances") in order to prevail in any combat situation. Each dance is quite powerful, becoming more so with more Talent Point investment, but only a limited number of dances can be active at once.

The Blade Dancer's key trait is flexibility. There are myriad ways to build this character, all of them with great potential for entertaining gameplay.

Class Features:

Eight New Talent Trees - Five core dances: Dance of the Moons, Storm, Torrent, Mountain, and Leaf. Each dance improves aspects of your character, as well as granting access to powerful techniques while active. Spread your talent points across multiple dances, or focus on just one or two. Other Talent trees allow you to improve your dances or even mesh them together into deadly combinations.

Unique starting Area - Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will start in a new, unique starting area, with a couple of novel critters and a new boss at the end.

Class-Specific Quest - Upon finishing their starting area, Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will gain access to a class-specific sidequest that runs parallel to the main game. Completing this quest grants access to a nice peice of equipment.

Auto-Scumming - Many of the dances raise your core stats while active. To keep the player from constantly ducking in and out of menus, stat requirements for gear and talent-learning will automatically adjust to accomodate those dances that are learned, but currently inactive.

Other Addon Features:

New Bosses - Not every Blade Dancer is a hero. A handful of renegades roam Maj'Eyal, looking to ruin someone's day...

New Boss Artifacts - ...at least those renegade Blade Dancers carry some decent gear with them.

Inevitability wears away at the resistances of your enemies as your own resistances mount.
Uniquely, they have a small secondary racial tree that removes detrimental effects.
Mummies begin in their own starter zone, a low-level dungeon reminiscent of both the Blighted Scar and the Elven Ruins.
Mummies are initially locked, and unlock by defeating the Mummy Lord

Wight
Blast enemies with elemental power.
Ignore attacks with your ghostly nature.
Unerringly seek out enemies, even behind walls
Wights begin in a tiny starting zone of their own.
Wights are unlocked by completing the ancient battleground event.

Adds the Foxwight, a class blending chaotic nature powers with insidious corrupt diseases.

Adds more Whips and Tridents to the game. Formerly, this was part of my Naloren Race add-on.

Tridents are unchanged, aside from rarity.
As vanilla ToME only has artifact whips, this add-on adds base whips of all teirs. Whips require dexterity, have an 80% dexterity damage modifier, and have a +procs damage accuracy bonus (the same as staves).
Additionally, whips and tridents can be purchased from weapon stores (dagger and mace shops, respectively) and purchased from the rand art merchant. Affected shops have had their inventory size slightly increased to adjust for the greaeter variety.

Credits: I borrowed the whip graphic from grayswandir's Weapon Pack add-on, and bits of code for adding exotics to shops and the rand art merchant from HousePet's Midnight add-on.

Adds the Spellweaver, a Mage subclass who creates custom spells with Spellweaving components.
For example, a Spellweaver might make a spell using the Fire element, the Beam shape, and the Damage Over Time effect to make a simple Damage over Time Fire Beam. However, spells can get vastly more complicated, with things like a "Grand Checkerboard of Eclipsing and Feverish Wallweaving and Prismatic and Radiat Lingering Harm" if you want to be way over the top.
Additionally, Spellweavers can make shielding and teleportation spells with components too, although all three types of spells use the same slots.
Spellweavers who are Humans, Elves, Dwarves or Undeads will also begin in Wovenhome in the East and have a special dungeon to start the game.

Improves the default sort order of items in the player's inventory.

Allows you to set the level of enemies, the frequency of rare creatures, and some other elements of difficulty independently during character creation, to make the game as easy or hard as you like.

If you make the game at least as hard as a vanilla difficulty setting, you qualify for that difficulty's achievements.
If you make the game easier than normal in any way, you're set to Easy mode and disqualified from achievements.

This mod will be incompatible with other mods that re-arrange the character creation screen.

Adds classes, races, objects and other stuff into the game.

Class: Performer / Bard

Jacks of all trades, masters of none, Bards are known for being proficient in a vast array of talents, such as melee and ranged combat, spellcasting and performing capabilities and blend all of these styles into a very versatile mix.

Race: Animal / Bunnymorph (& Kruk variant)

Bunnymorphs are former humanoids morphed into bunnies by a spooky evil dark wizard. This transformation rendered them more fragile but gave them some special talents.
Kruk Bunnymorphs are a more physically apt variant of Bunnymorphs, as they have orcish origins.

Objects and other additions include rapiers, whips, harps, flutes, lutes, singing swords, a new item type (instrument), a new resource pool (melody), a new damage type (sound), a new escort type, a sizable amount of new egos centered around melody, sound damage, new talents and a handful of new artifacts.

Thanks to rexorcorum for all the custom images and to game-icons.net for the custom icons.

Allows you to choose which item to replace when wielding/wearing equipment if there are multiple possibilities.

Primary Features
Druid class:
Uncast spells to produce nature based magical effects.
Its an agile nature mage, but can be played as a fighter/mage hybrid, or as a summoner hybrid.

Werebeast Class:
Werebeast fits somewhere between Cursed and Wyrmic, with a touch of Rogue thrown in.
