Combat Tinkers for Gloves and Shieids

Short Name:

Adds tinker schematics for shields and gloves/gauntlets based on various weapon tinker schematics from the Embers of Rage DLC (required). Currently adds the following schematics:

  • For gloves/gauntlets:
    • Shocking Knuckles (based on Shocking Edge)
    • Explosive Knuckles (based on Thunderclap Coating)
    • Incendiary Spray (based on Incendiary Groove)
    • Silver Knuckles (based on Silver Filigree)
    • Poison Knuckles (based on Poison Groove)
  • For shields:
    • Winterchill Coating (based on Winterchill Edge)
    • Arc Discharge Coil (based on Lightning Coil)
    • Knockback Pistons (based on Thunderclap Coating)
    • Silver Plating (based on Silver Filigree)

More tinkers may be added in future versions.

Runed Shields

Short Name:

Adds the 'Runed Shield' ego for shields, which grants a chance to cast spells on block. This can only trigger once per turn.

Incantor of Flame

Adds the Incantor of Flame, a mage subclass.

The Incantor of Flame is a Fire-focused caster and melee shield fighter. Their primary stats are Magic and Strength.
Incantor of Flame combines a few base game spell and technique trees with a pair of new trees, one class and one generic.

Skirmisher Buffs

This addon adds Shield Offense & Shield Defense to the Skirmisher while changing their stat requirements to the greater of Strength or Dexterity, and Tireless Combatant has been changed to only use Dexterity.
Lastly, the Bombardment talent has been completely reworked.

The Enforcer

Adds the Enforcer. Armed with shield and steamgun, the Enforcer utilizes suppressive fire and crafted grenades of all types to permanently remove foes.

High Guard

Short Name:

Adds the High Guard, a mage subclass. The High Guard is a melee fighter with mid-range spells who can wield any staff in one hand and favors shields in the offhand.
Primary stats are Magic and Strength. All talents are spells and use only mana. Attacks with both staff and shield, with nearly all attacks (save for bumps) dealing the damage type your staff is currently alinged to.

Shield Tactics - New Bulwark Talent Category

Short Name: 
shield_tactics

Adds the 'Technique/Shield tactics' talent tree as a new generic category available to Bulwarks. Starts locked at 1.3 mastery, and requires Con.

1)Tempered Will:
While your shield is raised you become a nearly impenetrable wall of metal and pure grit, able to divert some of the force of even non-physical assualts.
While Block is active, you will gain X% Physical resistance and Y% of all non-Physical incoming damage will be converted to Physical damage. Damage conversion is improved by your Spell Save, and Physical resistance by your Constitution.

2)Relentless Retaliation:
Each time you fully block incoming damage, you gain X% attack speed for one turn. This effect can stack up to 8 times. The effect improves with Dexterity.

3)Tactical Defense:
Each time you fully block incoming damage, you use the tactical advantage to reduce the remaining cooldown of your inscriptions. This will reduce the cooldown of a random inscription by one turn, and can occur at most X times per turn. This value improves with Constitution.

4)Reflexive Block:
You are unmatched in your ability to react with your shield. If an attack would deal damage greater than X% of your maximum life, you raise your shield in an instant, preemptively reducing the damage by Y% of your block value and assuming a blocking stance. This bonus block will not check or trigger Block cooldown. Damage reduction improves with Constitution. This talent has a cooldown.

Bone Shield Tweak

Short Name:

This addon modifies Bone Shield to add a low damage threshold which will prevent charges from being expended on minor damage.
