Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for campaigns and difficulty levels, allowing characters to play campaigns and difficulty levels that you haven't unlocked. Doesn't actually unlock anything.

This is a fork of Player AIoo which is a fork of PlayerGAI by Glavius which is a fork of PlayerAI by Charidan.
Adds a keybind to activate the new player AI. Set to Alt+F1 by default.

Right click on your Character and choose "Define Player-AIoo" at the bottom to tell the AI how often it use which talent (like with a clone/ golem)

This addon let the player use the AI coded for NPC, so your character can fight, rest, auto-explore on his own.
It will clear an entire floor or stop when it has low health.

Be warned, it can put your character in a sure death situation.

Note for Developers: This addon superwrites Player:act(), so if your addon also touches Player:act() change the load order so that the Player AI addon loads last.

Known Bugs:
A few talents will never be used by the AI, due to targeting problem (eg: disengage). Setting their weight to 0 in Define Player-AIoo should solve any AI stop because of thoses. The Ai from the game is not allowed to use specific talent (eg: suncloak). To use them still during an AI run, put them on autocast.

Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:

• Unopened golden chests, graves and weird pedestals; giant digestive sacks and strange tentacle "trees" from the Forbidden Cults DLC; demon statues from the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC; strange conduits from the Embers of Rage DLC.
• Unopened vaults, including "hidden vault" sub-zones.
• Various quest-related events like Tempest Peak and the Sher'tul farportal.
• Sub-zones like damp caves, intimidating caves, and the temporal rift in Daikara.
• Glyph sequences from the Forbidden Cults DLC, as found on various levels.
• Various non-main-plot zones on the world map, like Ruined Dungeon or Mark of the Spellblaze (configurable), if you have not visited them or killed their associated guardian.

Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes".

Adds two races, one class, a new town, and a new low level dungeon. Completing a quest to explore the new dungeon unlocks purchasable perks in the town. This quest is the starting quest for the added races, but anyone can access an alternate version of the quest with the same rewards. Look toward the coast east of Last Hope to get started.

Available perks (cost varies):
Reveal Exotic Weapons Mastery (must already know Combat Training; Combat Training can also be purchased as per Last Hope shops).

Gain the ability to invest in Heavy Armour Training and equip mail(heavy) armor by meeting the requirement with the highest of Constitution and Dexterity (or Strength, as usual).

Gain bonus attack and movement speeds and a chance to evade incoming damage while wearing mail(heavy) armor. These values scale with Dex and Con, respectively.

Learn (locked or unlocked) a new Psionic/Mindstar combat talent tree. Similar to Wild-Gift/Mindstar mastery, this tree also has a Psiblades sustain. Once learned, you can also pay to boost mastery (as with Mindstar mastery from Zigur).

Psionic/Mindstar combat:

Psiblades:
Increases damage and physical power when attacking with Mindstars. When sustained, increases the damage modifiers and mind stats granted by equipped mindstars (this is an exact copy of the wild-gift/mindstar mastery psiblades talent).

Mind Thorns:
Instantly touch the mind of an adjacent foe, creating mental thorns which reduce mind save and deal mind damage each turn for a few turns.

Mind Storm:
Create a storm of psionic energy which lasts for a few turns. The storm will overheat the mind of foes in the area, causing them to burn (stacking). Allies in the area will be obscured by illusions, reducing the bonus damage of critical hits dealt to them.

Psionic Balance:
Attack an adjacent enemy with your mainhand Psiblade and channel the energy through your offhand to create a psionic damage shield around an ally or yourself. The power of the shield is based on the damage of the attack and can be a mental critical. The shielded target will also regain an amount of Psi based on the damage of the attack.

Races:

The Naloren are elven race with an affinity for water who are adept with mail armor, whips and tridents. They are also known for their bountiful spirit and superb flexibility.
Talents:

Spirit of the Tides:
Gain X charges of Surging Spirit for 5 turns. Charges will be consumed as you activate talents to reduce their cooldown by one turn per charge.

Spirited Combat:
Gain X% armor hardiness in all types of armor and a Y% Constitution damage modifier for all weapons.

Cleansing Water:
When you are afflicted with a detrimental effect you have a X% chance to create a 1-tile pool of Cleansing Water within 2 tiles of yourself. Moving into Cleansing Water will consume it to cleanse the detrimental effect with the highest duration currently afflicting you. This has a cooldown (3).

Whitewater:
Call on the surging tides to aid you, creating radius X pool of rushing water lasting for 6 turns. Moving within Whitewater is instant for you. Foes will have a 50% chance with each movement within Whitewater to flounder, draining 50% of a turn and leaving them Dazed for 1 turn.

Stats:

+ 4 Con, +4 Dex, -1 Cun, -1 Str, -1 Mag, +10 life rating, 10% increased global speed, 15% xp penalty.

The Freeks are a tribe of Yeeks who broke free from The Way. They are still strong psionics, but their minds have been irreparably shattered.
Talents:

Unbound Mind:
Remove up to X silence and confusion effects from yourself and increase your silence and confusion immunities by 100% for a few turns. When activated, all foes in range 8 are afflicted with Shattered Mind for the same duration, giving them a chance each turn to become dazed or confused(35%) for 2 turns.

Partition:
Increases resistance to all damage and decreases the duration of negative effects.

Hasty:
Gain a passive mind speed bonus. If you are afflicted by 4 or more negative effects, the passive speed bonus will temporarily be doubled and any actions (attacks, spells, movement, etc) will use your mind speed if it is faster than the usual speed.

Schism:
Create up to 3 illusions of yourself adjacent to foes within range 10 that will taunt enemies for a few turns.

Stats:
-2 Con, +0 Dex, +3 Cun, +0 Str, +1 Mag, +3 Wil, +9 life rating, -10% xp 'penalty', -15% confusion immunity.

Target a foe and disrupt their next talent with a blast of physical damage. At level 3+ adds confuses. At 5+ has a passive chance to block damage over a threshold, blast the source, and disrupt the source talent.

Puncture:
Deal physical damage with added bleeding damage. At level 3+ has a chance to disrupt temporary buffs on the target. Direct damage bypasses ice blocks.

Psionic Striking

Kinetic Blast:

 Deal physical damage and pin. Frozen targets take extra damage and both hits bypass the ice block.

Thermal Blast:
Deal fire damage and cold damage and freeze. If target is pinned, pull in nearby enemies and freeze them to the ground for a few turns.

Charged Blast:
Deal lightning damage and shock (reduce stun/pin resist by half). If target is pinned, boost Charge Shield value. If target is frozen, push nearby enemies away from you.

Psi Weaving:
Increased Fire, Cold and Lightning damage and res pen. Also applies to physical, but at half the value.

Altered Talents
Beyond the Flesh:
TK mindstars now project a blast of damage instead of pulling enemies. Chance, range and damage scale with mindstar tier (damage also scales on Mindpower). Active Aura damage is added to the blast at 2 times the usual power.

Quick as Thought:
Also increases mental crit chance.

Mindhook:
Can also target a wall to pull yourself.

Resonant Focus:
TK mindstars have increased chance to blast and also increase the radius of Voracity talents and the range non-melee mind powers.

Frenzied Focus:
TK mindstars attempt to blast all foes in range and Aura damage is added at 4 times the usual power.

Transcendent Telekinesis:
Resets Kinetic Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Physical while in effect. Kinetic Blast will also strike two random foes adjacent to the target.

Transcendent Electrokinesis:
Resets Charged Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Lightning while in effect. Charged Blast will also chain to 3 nearby enemies.

Static Net:
Static Charge is released with your next Telekinetic Crush or Charged Blast.

Transcendent Pyrokinesis:
Resets Thermal Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Fire or Cold (based on your increased damage) while in effect. Thermal Blast cold/freeze will hit in a radius 1 ball.

This is a fork of Cleaner Item Descriptions v2.1.4 (which itself is a fork of Better Item Descriptions) which makes Item Stats easier to read... There were just a couple tweaks I wanted to make:

This version:

• corrects a small miscalculation for the line length when looking at item stats (not configured for all zoom levels/custom settings)--this allows the stats to individually flow to the next line and line up the indents (even works when comparing items with +ctrl) without breaking between the stat_desc and number value.
• restores the 'stat seperator' as a white comma (a white / in default item desc)
• shows Str/Dex/Con etc. with the number value AFTER the stat_desc; ex: "Str +2, Con +1" (as opposed to other stats, which show BEFORE: "+5 Lightning, +10 Fire" etc.)

Known bugs:

• comparing a shield in the inventory when not having a comparable item equipped throws a lua exception

This addon adds three new content: a new race, a new class and a new area with mini-games.

I., Adds a new race: the Vorloth.

Vorloths are not from Eyal, they are from planet Luxam.
They are unique sound creatures, fragile but powerful.
Vorloths have their own starting zone, and they have a unique post-game boss fight.

II., Adds a new Chronomancer subclass, the Quantum Slider.

The class has a very unique way of gameplay: you should run & teleport as fast and as many times as you just can.
Running with very high speed and teleporting gives you several benefits. Sliders are always on the Run.

Quantum Slider has only the Spellbinding (locked) tree from the original chronomancy trees.

Slider is a very strong class if it's played in a simple way, but the more complex
way it's played the stronger & stronger it will be.

III., Adds new npc to the city of Last Hope.

You can enter into a new shop, where ring imbuing can be done like in Angolwen.
This enables anti-magic characters imbuing too, before the East.

You can play two different mini-games there too:

a, a Soko-Ban puzzle game

b, and a real time epic Space Battle game

These mini-games have no effect on the campaign, these are for enjoyment.
Every murderhobo adventurer has to relax sometimes and play videogames.

Introduces the Blade Dancer, a dual-wielding Warrior subclass whose style revolves around shifting between different forms ("dances") in order to prevail in any combat situation. Each dance is quite powerful, becoming more so with more Talent Point investment, but only a limited number of dances can be active at once.

The Blade Dancer's key trait is flexibility. There are myriad ways to build this character, all of them with great potential for entertaining gameplay.

Class Features:

Eight New Talent Trees - Five core dances: Dance of the Moons, Storm, Torrent, Mountain, and Leaf. Each dance improves aspects of your character, as well as granting access to powerful techniques while active. Spread your talent points across multiple dances, or focus on just one or two. Other Talent trees allow you to improve your dances or even mesh them together into deadly combinations.

Unique starting Area - Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will start in a new, unique starting area, with a couple of novel critters and a new boss at the end.

Class-Specific Quest - Upon finishing their starting area, Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will gain access to a class-specific sidequest that runs parallel to the main game. Completing this quest grants access to a nice peice of equipment.

Auto-Scumming - Many of the dances raise your core stats while active. To keep the player from constantly ducking in and out of menus, stat requirements for gear and talent-learning will automatically adjust to accomodate those dances that are learned, but currently inactive.

Other Addon Features:

New Bosses - Not every Blade Dancer is a hero. A handful of renegades roam Maj'Eyal, looking to ruin someone's day...

New Boss Artifacts - ...at least those renegade Blade Dancers carry some decent gear with them.

Updated the legendary Mr Frog's Demonologist: ReSeeded addon to work on newer versions, merged the Demon Seeds Plus addon by Erenion and all Demon Seeds are now able to be levelled infinitely. I also added some small changes for myself - killing enemies will now heal and resurrect both equipped seeds and seeds in inventory, prioritising equipped ones. The last talent in Demonic Pact will, in addition to Mr Frog's changes, also summon a demon on entering combat, just like in the vanilla version of the game.

Original Demon Seeds Plus addon description:

Gives some unused demon seeds (Khulmanar, Walrog) new skills and adds new unique seeds (Draebor, Lithfengel, Shasshhiy'Kaish, Kryl-Feijan, Corrupted Daleach).
This addon also changes the cap on demon seed levels to be 50 or your own level, whatever is higher, allowing demon seeds to become more powerful in the Infinite Dungeon.

Original Demonologist: ReSeeded addon description:

A full redesign of the Demonologist class, featuring rewritten flavour text, enhanced QoL, some enhanced visuals, and many, many balance and design changes to talents intended to reduce tedium and enhance gameplay diversity while holding true to Demonologist's core gameplay as a heavily-armored melee/caster hybrid.
(Note that this addon requires Ashes of Urh'rok to be both installed and active to work, and will fail to load otherwise.)

Features include:

An entirely new talent tree: Bloodbinding, replacing Combat Techniques and Combat Veteran. Lay down hexing circles to strip foes' strength and restore your stamina, and go for their throats with a deadly gap closer that strikes without fail!

No more tedious sustain management: Osmosis Shield, Rain of Fire, and similar talents have all been reworked so that they only drain your Vim when they directly take effect, preserving their functionality while removing the need to manually toggle them off and on to conserve your limited reserves of Vim!

Enhanced demon seed management: Demon seeds are now automatically replaced when you acquire a new seed of the same type but greater level, and cleaning all the outdated seeds from your inventory is as quick and easy as pushing a button! Seed descriptions are now more verbose, giving a short explanation of what equipped talents actually do!

Rebalanced and redesigned talents: Every single one of Demonologist's unique trees and talents has been given a revamp to improve midfight utility, reduce tedious prebuffing, streamline awkward mechanics, focus their damage output, and provide more sensible scaling that rewards investment in specific aspects of the class! Poor talents have been buffed, broken talents fixed, and centralisation has been moved away from just a few extremely strong skills to a wide array of potential build options, all while preserving the class's core ethos as a spellslinging melee fighter that refuses to die no matter how much punishment it takes!

Massively redesigned demon seeds: Ring seed effects are much more diverse, and all other seeds have been rebalanced as well, with improved or all-new effects on the vast majority of seeds. Get a challenge on every level, but the rewards are a little smaller to compensate (less stat points). Random artifact challenges eliminated.

This addon replaces ToME's map display with one that's more in-line with other games. You can drag the mouse to scroll, use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and left-click to set the currently viewed area (instead of accidentally traveling there, which can still be done via right-click menu). It also shows the viewport rectangle on the map, and if your computer is powerful enough, you can even show the actual terrain instead of the confusing color blocks, or make the walls red to easily find paths you have yet to explore. The player and zone exits are also displayed as icons on the map. Additionally, if you travel via the map and stop unexpectedly (i.e., you ran into your golem), a friendly dialog will pop up asking if you'd like to continue to your destination.

Мод заменяет карту игры на нечто более схожее с другими играми. Вы можете перемещать карту мышкой, приближать или отдалять карту колесиком и устанавливать текущий обзор левым кликом мыши (вместо того, что бы случайно переместиться туда, как было ранее). Карат способна отображать реальную местность ландшафта и окрашивать непроходимые места в красный цвет, что бы проще найти дорогу.
Выходы из зоны так же отображаются на карте в виде значков, кроме того реализован всплывающий диалог при перемещении с помощью карты.

Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

• Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
• The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
• The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• The Scourge Pits: On the south of the Iron Throne lays a fool pit of ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• Forbidden Tomes: Find special artifact books of ancient lore. But, read at your own peril, for the story they tell may very well suck you in... quite literally.
  Maybe you will even find The One That Writes...
• Occult Egress: A strange, extremely old, contraption of unknown origin. It seems to require some kind of code sequence to activate. Maybe you will find some during your adventures?

Adds the Nocturne, a Darkness-based Doomed evolution.

The Nocturne gains extra proficiency in the Cursed/Darkness tree, as well as access to two new high-level trees:

Nightwalker - Use the darkness to escape, approach, hide, heal, and invisibly strike your foes.

Umbra - Your darkness takes hold inside your enemies, giving you unprecedented power against them.

Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:

• Insufficient or non-existent resource generation.
• Other dependant talents.
• Missing mastery talents.
• Missing items.
• Anything specific, like Chronomancy/Spellbinding and such.

Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well.

These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order.

Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description.

Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else.

This addon requires the Forbidden Cults DLC to function.

Celestial Spellcasters who have been overcome with madness and become more and more like unto Luminous Horrors.
Shining Ones begin in Kroshkurr by default.

Celestial / Incinerator: Burn enemies and the ground beneath them.

Adds an alchemy table to the Infinite Dungeon, that appears with roughly a 50% chance at each floor. Here you are allowed to brew potions (similar to those achievable from the alchemical brotherhood) and transmute items into artifacts (rewards and costs are somewhat similar to the quest-mechant from Last Hope, though there is a price-scale). Depending on what you pay for, transmuted items keep their item tier (option: lesser) get a bonus of one (option: greater) or two (option: superior) item tiers. When transmuting tier 5 (option: greater) or tier 4 and higher (option: superior) items, these become extraordinarily powerful.

Brewing potions additionally consumes gold now (starts at 0, +125 / created potion)

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

An experimental addon that modifies the rendering of various lasting spell/talent effects so that they are displayed below the player and NPCs, in an attempt to prevent multiple overlapping effects from effectively obscuring actors in their area of effect. Also can optionally "flatten" display of overlapping effects by displaying only one effect animation in the overlapping area (hopefully also reducing slowdown on older computers).

Functionality is controlled by game options "UI | Display effects under actors" and "UI | "Flatten" overlapping effects".

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite.

Adds game options related to equipment curses and cursed auras from the Defiling Touch talent:

• "[ZOmnibus] | Show power of cursed auras", which modifies the buffs display for cursed auras to include the "curse power" based on number of worn equipment pieces with each curse type (including +2 bonus from Defiling Touch, if applicable).
• "[ZOmnibus] | Tag cursed items in equipment", which adds an extra curse-related keyword to a worn cursed item's listing in the equipment display.

Also adds a tooltip to Defiling Touch's Cursed Aura Selection dialog, showing the effect of each curse if you select it.

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite.

If you capture a soul via Soul Leech (or other method) while you are at maximum soul capacity and your Hiemal Shield is depleted, allows you to store the soul in a temporary Hiemal Buffer to be used to pay the soul cost the next time your Hiemal Shield regenerates (normal mana costs still apply).

Tweak to make the APE also generate Fortress Energy, for using tinkers in the main Maj'Eyal campain. Also lets Adventurers start with an APE and equipment for tinker classes, even if you haven't unlocked that achievement the normal way.

Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up.
It is meant to make Madness difficulty possible without cheating or hacking of any kind. The game isn't really meant to be beaten on Madness-Roguelike in a legit way, which is why trainers/cheats/savescams exist. There have been only a couple of winners that might be real and legit, and they are Adventure class with no video proof.

Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

How to use this addon:

    - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
    - Start a New Game.
    - Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
    - You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
    

Operating Modes:

    - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
    - Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
    - Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
    - Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    

Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes):

    - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
    - All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    - MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.

1.Related resources will gain +2 regen after 15+ turns. This works only if you can regen those resources.

4.Rest will take auto-use talent cooldown into consideration, rest won't stop until all auto-use talent has became off cooldown once.
5.Add a new auto-talent mode: auto-use when rest for resources. Talent in this mode will only auto-use if your resources are not full and you're resting.
6.Tweak the automatic use of medical salve, salves will not be auto-used if any of your injectors is cooling down.

This QoL provides some "automation" to various tedious gameflows in ToME.

Adds the Puppeteer, a Mage class that manipulates and maintains three puppet companions that fight in their stead. Puppeteers pull the strings of the battlefield from a safe distance, rapidly laying out powerful weapon attacks by proxy through their puppets and letting them intercept the enemy's action in turn. They possess techniques to repair damaged puppets or protect them from harm. No mere conjuror, a Puppeteer is at once tactician, healer, and lynchpin.

Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring.

v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 ***
This is a fork (with permission) of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks. It includes as well C.Lowe/CaptainTrip's improvements as well. It does not include, but recommends also using Johnny0's Faster RRE add-on for even better rest and auto-explore experience. This add-on contains numerous Quality of Life improvements designed to make resting and auto-exploring easier to use, brings the add-on overall up to being compatible with 1.6.x, and generally seeks to remove it being more optimal to do timed rests or manual recovery (particularly to help higher difficulty level and players without Faster RRE). Cleaned up feature list in this take, to make it easier to see what it does.

It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them.

Latest Update Notes:
• Changed steam sustain behavior to match current gameplay. Before sustains tended to shut off when available resource was 0, now they don't seem to do so. This will now only turn off sustains that drain steam if steam is going below 0, so as to get to a steady finish state.
• Fix minor bug where stealth enabling was always on if you had it.
• Added new option to ignore quest members when resting or exploring. It defaults to off but for those folks that know they want to ignore those quest allies and rest a bit.

Existing Features:
• removed First Sighting and Reset on Rest. Someone can patch them in if they'd like it back, but I'm not really keeping them alive.

• When resting, it will check for infusions and runes that could be used to accelerate HP, Mana, or Equilibrium (via Ancestral Life or Meditation) recovery. If the acceleration appears significant, it will use them, rotating from first available infusion or rune outward. In experiment, I found this often reduced rest turn time by 50-80 percent, improving the more drained the resource was. Particularly helpful for Mana, as it avoids trade-off advantages of short term resting (for increased mana regen) + rune use by just handling that more optimal play for you automatically without breaking rest.
• Support for steam implants, with usual checkboxes. This may not always be faster based on steam sustains that may disable after the initial round of rest and steam implants having very long cooldowns (30+ turns) and steam's resource max being pretty small. It tries to be conservative on that, so will most likely help for cases where your functional steam regen rate is < 2.00 and never activate for things much above it. I found I was often getting 5-20 steam per turn, which makes the implant support useless.
• Supports for medical healing salve injectors. Cooldown measurements are a bit odd here, since they can range from 5-20 depending on injector. Went with 10 as a happy medium for how many turns of natural regen is considered to be equal to the cooldown cost of using it.
• Adding support to auto-stealth if available and not stealthed.
• Option for ignoring small damage when moving and resting, basically if it is <5%, it will ignore it by default, prevent small DoTs from preventing rest.
• Options added to control whether or not to use inscriptions to accelerate recovery of things.
• Fixes a ToME bug that can cause autoexplore or running to move only a single square and hang if used immediately after killing an enemy.
• Lore discovery will only stop autoexplore if it triggers a popup.
• Autoexplore will ignore Exploratory/Infinite Farportal return portals until the entire level has been explored.
• Ignores special terrain features such as Font of Healing after they are first discovered.
• Ignores open chests and alt Maze floor cracks.
• Rest and AE ask for confirmation if you have an escort in your party.
• Ignore already activated pedestals.
• Checks for and waits on any rechargeable items.
• Checks for and reloads any ammo in offhand quiver.
• Waits for cooldowns of talents set to auto-use.
• Waits for depleted air to replenish.
• Combines all checks into a single instance of rest, rather than having cooldowns etc. require a second resting phase.

Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'.

Available modes:
• 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy.
• 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring.

• Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments.

Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. This is a fork of Movarc'h's Impoved Escorts by mannendake. Description

This addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
- Shows the damage type (lightning, etc.) as icons or text!
- Text moves in a consistent direction and should be much easier to read than ToME's default for a variety of reasons.

- Various font sizes to choose from
- Various font coloring options (color by major damage type, use the default red / green, etc.)
- Text duration can be changed to fit your play style.

Custom Edit

The original addon is great, but I was always frustrated with the excessive amount of floating talent text and other garbage that just wasn't relevant to combat.
All of the yellow lines drowned out the actual combat damage numbers and it made me not want to use it. This custom edit gives you an option in the settings area to disable this text, and it is off by default.

Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes.

You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

 

How to enable/disable or configure this addon:

• Download, install and activate it. Start a New Game.
• You can enable/disable or change mode, set the amount of flat experience or multiplier to apply to each future kill from the "Gameplay" settings in-game.

 

Modes functionality:

• VANILLA -> Doesn't change anything compared to original game.
• BALANCED (default) -> Gives on general more experience to the player on higher difficulties than original game, depending also on the rank and level of the defeated enemy.
• VERY FAST -> Gives 250% flat experience compared to original TOME.
• FLAT -> Each kill gives X experience points, regardless of what you kill or what level you/they are. How much per kill can be configured in the Gameplay settings.
• CUSTOM -> Multiplies by X all the experience you gain from kills. You can set your own multiplier in the Gameplay settings.
• INSTANT LV50 -> One kill for LV50. A cheat way to test out new builds REALLY fast.

Allows Adventurer to take any class evolution prodigy and adds an option that allows any class to take multiple evolutions.
This is yet another fork of pisastrish's mod (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/evolve_adven1).
There is only a small change so that it checks for the adventurer class instead of the subclass.
It should affect both the adventurer, wanderer and other adventurer subclasses added by addond (wanderer3in1 for instance)

Allows the player to pick two classes, but the difficulty scales upward. The mod dramatically ramps up the difficulty level to compensate. (Original by StarKeep, forked mod by Raenarill).
You advance twice as fast, and gain six talent category points: at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. You gain normal stat points until level 51.
BLITZ MODE: You gain two thirds more talent points. After level 66, you gain one class talent point per level and one generic every two out of three levels.
CLASSIC MODE: features base game talent points until level 100.

CLASS EVOLUTIONS: You can swap your first and second classes in the Game Options tab for evolutionary purposes.
WANDERERS AND ADVENTURERS: These are only supported as the FIRST class.
QUANTUM SLIDERS: Now supported as the second class.

Simple addon that displays "hidden" Luck stat on character sheet.

Plenum ToolTip Custom Edit: Enhanced Plenum tooltip display for ToME version 0.3 for ToME 1.6.1

This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed.

In addition, information on temporary terrain features (like smoke and darkness) and map effects (from spells and the like) will be displayed in the terrain tooltip if the appropriate options are enabled.

This addon is originally developed by Hachem_Muche and continued by sSs1897.

Adds a game menu entry to view all currently registered glyph sequences for the Occult Egress (Cults DLC).
Shows the 4-glyph sequences, their effect names, and descriptions in a readable dialog.

Original: "Isaacssv552", "Asellia". Allows modification of leveling. Can modify stat gain, talent gain, category gain, life gain, and more. If you would like to be able to modify other values post them in the comments. Inspired by Asellia's adjustable_level_points addon.
UPDATE: I've added the ability to modify stat and level maximums. I have also added the ability to customize which levels stats, talents, talent types, and prodigies are gained at. This allows for alternative leveling schemes such as gaining 2 class points on every even level and 2 generic points every odd level. For example, the max/milestone level could be set to 100, xp gain at 300, and all intervals doubled with alternating offsets for a faster early game, a slower late game, and increased potential for early game specialization.

1)Tempered Will:
While your shield is raised you become a nearly impenetrable wall of metal and pure grit, able to divert some of the force of even non-physical assualts.
While Block is active, you will gain X% Physical resistance and Y% of all non-Physical incoming damage will be converted to Physical damage. Damage conversion is improved by your Spell Save, and Physical resistance by your Constitution.

2)Relentless Retaliation:
Each time you fully block incoming damage, you gain X% attack speed for one turn. This effect can stack up to 8 times. The effect improves with Dexterity.

3)Tactical Defense:
Each time you fully block incoming damage, you use the tactical advantage to reduce the remaining cooldown of your inscriptions. This will reduce the cooldown of a random inscription by one turn, and can occur at most X times per turn. This value improves with Constitution.

4)Reflexive Block:
You are unmatched in your ability to react with your shield. If an attack would deal damage greater than X% of your maximum life, you raise your shield in an instant, preemptively reducing the damage by Y% of your block value and assuming a blocking stance. This bonus block will not check or trigger Block cooldown. Damage reduction improves with Constitution. This talent has a cooldown.

Gives classes that have Combat Veteran category a Tireless Combatant category. That's it.
I wanted to replace combat veteran but decided to keep options open (and do less work myself!).

Optionally modifies the tooltip description of objects that grant talents when worn or carried to include descriptions of the conferred talents.

Allows schematic-only artifacts from EoR to be learned AoA or Infinite Dungeon. Each one is unlocked randomly by defeating bosses (not elite bosses) above level 20.

Forgo arms to ravage your foes with fist and claw.
While unarmed, you gain all the weapon/shield bonuses of Surge, Cleave, and Repel.
Surge, Cleave, and Repel are no longer mutually exclusive while you are unarmed and will not put the other talents on cooldown when activated. If you equip a weapon while any of these are active, they will deactivate.
Attacks which would strike with a mainhand weapon or shield will use your unarmed stats for the weapon and/or shield attack.
Weapons Mastery will apply to unarmed combat and Willpower will be used in place of Dexterity as a damage modifier for gloves and gauntlets.
You learn the Grappling talent tree, unlocked at 1.3 mastery. Stamina cost for these talents is converted to Hate (at a ratio of 4:1).

Adds Harvester class as a wilder subclass.
Hervesters are adept of life and death. They use both Vim and Equilibrium resources.
They believe that blight power can be harmonised with Eyal and they are exploring ways to control it.

This mod is designed to complete the game at the highest difficulty level. The mod does not affect the game experience of battles with monsters, it only adds the opportunity to become stronger for money. Every merchant in the world offers the player to learn new talent mastery, undergo special training, or create powerful artifacts. Each trader has their own requirements for the level of the player and pricing policy.

Features of Artworld (v2.0)

Talents manipulation:
— Player can learn new talent masteries. 200 masteries from the original game are available. Talents from FC, EoR, AoUR add-ons are not supported.
— Player can increase the efficiency modifier of any mastery. The upper limit is 5.0.
— Player can forget all the talents of a certain mastery and restore all skill points spent. Some kind of respec.
— Player can sell the mastery he doesn't need. It will disappear from the list of available on the leveling screen, its level will be reset to 1.0. It's an easy way to get money without having to fight monsters directly. I strongly recommend it to your best try.

Special training:
— Player can upgrade their resources: Life/Stamina/Mana/Psi/Soul/Vim/Hate/Light/Dark. Training can be both limited in the number of times and endless.
— Player can convert one type of resource to another. For example, mana into life or souls into non-life (negative health). These workouts can be completed a limited number of times, and in general, you should not rely on them.
— Player can upgrade his primary stats: Strength/Dexterity/Constitution/Magic/Willpower/Cunning. All such trainings are limited: 3-5 times and you need to look for a new master.
— Player can gain new knowledge: additional talent points, categories or prodigies. A fully developed character is beautiful!

Artifactors:
— There are masters in the world who can modify items. They can work with 30 types of items, almost everything in the game. Every 2 levels, at least one level becomes available to the player.
— Player can insert an unlimited number of gem into any item. Each next gem increases the price of the work. The total price depends on the tier of the original item.
— Player can extract any (well, almost) magical property from an item by creating a shard of power. The shard can then be inserted into another item like a normal gem. By combining magical properties in this way, you can create very powerful artifacts. This is the best mod mechanic, but it requires a huge amount of gold.

Travel in world:
— Player can gain access to locations not provided for by the quest/class. In version 2, Point Zero(city of temporal warden) and island of Yrkkk became available. See the full travel map in the mod archive.
— Player receives a special item "Trade Notes" on the first conversation with any merchant. Notes automatically record all prices seen by the player. You no longer need to remember everything yourself, just read the notes.
— Player can enchant a transmutation chest for money before reaching the fortress of Sher-Tul. More money is always good.
— Player can find out the cost statistics when working with gem and shards.

Other:
— Supports russian language if ru-mod is installed (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/ru_RU ). The basic language of the mod is runglish (very bad english).

Changes in Artworld I (v2.1)

— A lot of minor changes: added lost properties for shards, fixed the price formula for primary stats, fix negative greed of some merchants, fixed a bug with the scrollbar in notes, added lost ru-locale strings, and something else..
— Added support for the "Adventuring Party" mod (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/adventure_party ). Now all party members (including the alchemist's golem) work correctly with merchants, and can become as strong as the player's main character.
— List of all talents that can be found at merchants has been added to the mod archive.

Features of Infinite world (v3.0)
This release contains all Artworld features, several new features and a balance change.

New features:
— Player can increase maximum level of a single talent! Some merchants sell "Tomes of Power", which can be read to raise level of talent stated in the book. Player must have trade mastery above 20 to be allowed into the bookstore. About 10% of books are created based on player's current talents, i.e. books may contain talents from other official addons and custom mods. Bookstores update several books once a game week approximately.
— Player can enchant an item with talent of their choice. Arterfactors give following recipe: item + "Tome of Power" with wonted talent = an item with property "Granted talent +1 lvl" and property "+1 talent cooldown". This recipe can be repeated several times to gain additional talent levels. Player, wearing such an item, learns the talent instantly and can use it as his own. A single item cannot grant more than 3 different talents.
— Player can rename items. You can use colors (named or in hexcodes) in names. Rename dialog correctly supports unicode strings (tested only in russian lang, but should work with other languages with multibyte characters).
— Player can break level cap in the "Maj'Eyal: The Age of Ascendancy" campaign. Levels will continue to increase after level 50, but they will not be awarded stat/talent points. This option is made specifically to replace the minor mod "Ascendancy Level Cap Remover" (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/ascendancy_lvl_cap_remover ) and other like this.
— Added support for the "Endless Dungeon" game mode. Every 5-8 floors player will find portals to spectral versions of random Maj'Eyal town. Merchants in these towns work in same way as in main campaign. In towns Elvala and Gates of Morning there is access to item vault.

Changes:
— Resource conversion training is now running indefinitely, but a price progression has been added. Now you can completely drain the unnecessary resources in health.
— Shards and gemstones have their own price when imbue. The price is based on actual properties, which allowed the balance of shards and gems to be evened out.
— Imbue shards/gems adds primary stat requirements to the item. There is a progression: +2 rnd. primary stats for first 10 gems, +3 rnd. primary stats for next 10 gems, etc. (but not more than +5 to the stat). After 40-50 gems built into item, it is very difficult to use it due to the inflated requirements. But on every 100th gem all the requirements are discarded and begin to accumulate again.
— Imbue shards/gems removes level requirements of the item. This is easy way to use an item taken from item vault early.
— World map has been updated (see in mod-arhive). Added info about bookstores and the relative probabilities of various workouts.

Compatibility notes:
— Mod redefines all dialogues of merchants in all towns of the world. Other mods that do the same thing can be broken, but losing a few dialogues doesn't break this mod.
— Mod adds objects to global map at fixed coordinates without checking correctness of tile.
— Mod changes names of items. Scripts that try to find an item by name can break.
— Mod overrides the level progression function (no_points_on_levelup) when it removes level limit. Other mods that provide their own "no_points_on_levelup" feature may fly off.
— Weight of mod is 100.

 This addon is supposed to alter the cursed/Darkness tree

to make it useful, while changing as little as possible. I have long
since gone past "as little as possible". I also added the Inner Darkness
tree, an advanced tree meant to supplement Darkness the way that Advanced
Shadowmancy supports the Shadows tree.

-- Creeping Darkness: I lowered the cooldown, I set the number of seeds

            of darkness to increase appropriately with talent
            level. The darkness now inherits a weaker version
            of the debuffs of other debuffing abilities you
            learn once those talents reach level 4. In
            particular, Dark Torrent, and Dark Tendrils. The
            strength of the debuffs are determined by the
            talent level of the talents from which the
            debuffs are stolen, and your mindpower. The
            density of the darkness is based on mindpower and
            talent level, filling up to 75% of the given aoe 
            at 100 mind power and talent level 5.

-- Dark Vision: I increased the max range of the vision to 7

            squares, to enable one to target Agony and
            Hateful Whisper correctly. I also boosted the
            movement speed buff slightly.

-- Dark Torrent: I set the ability to always leave creep behind

            instead of randomizing a core part of the ability.
            I also increased the damage very slightly.

-- Dark Tendrils: I made it faster, with scaling based on talent

            level, and the damage of the darkness it leaves
            behind is improved. I also added an extra
            tendril at talent level 6.

-- Grudge: This gives you a hate/life heal, while

            inflicting the Grudge debuff, which will take
            back the life it healed, plus a little more, 
            making you bleed creeping darkness all the while.

-- Veil Walk: This is just a short range teleport, with the

            ability to switch your place with opponents. It
            gains range with talent level. It is instant if
            you are stepping into your creeping dark. It
            also cuts fear immunity, dark resist and mind
            save when you switch with an enemy.

-- Heartless: This sustained ability burns hate to deal a

            small amount of dark damage on top of every
            blow you deal, and also makes enemies leave
            behind pools of darkness when you kill them.

-- Dark Blood: This ability is pure damage smearing. It collects

            all the damage you take in a single pool and
            portions it out to you over the following turns
            at a set rate.

I have also unlocked the Fears tree, and changed it to be like the version
of Fears in HousePet's afflicted rework. However, the fear effects
themselves have been altered. In particular, the fears that inflict
damage are now allowed to crit, and some of the fears were locked so as to
not inflict brainlock. This has been removed.

I have significantly buffed Gestures to the point of being absolutely brokt,
in the hopes that they'll make a possible alternative to psiblades. I'll
just have to keep buffing them until you don't have to take psiblades, and
then tune them until they aren't crushingly oppressive.

Adds a new evolution for Marauders, the Walking Armory.

Throw caution (and your equipment) to the wind, and become a truly formidable menace on the battlefield.

You can equip mainhand weapons in your tool and lite slot. You can equip offhand weapons in your head, cloak, belt and feet slots.

When you land an attack with the weapon in your mainhand slot, you will follow up with an attack from weapons in your tool and lite slots dealing 100% damage.

When you land an attack with the weapon in your offhand slot, you will follow up with an attack from weapons in your head, cloak, belt and feet slots dealing 100% damage (offhand damage penalty applies).

This addon adds a new campaign set in the depths below the Iron Throne, during an unknown time period.

Introduce Phantom Warrior, a two-handed chronomancy class.
Different from other chronomancers who are adept at traveling along the timeline, Phantom Warriors enhance their craft in manipulating the space of the battlefield. Each strike of their hefty two-handed weapon has a chance of breaking the stability of surrounding aether, creating inferior phantoms of themselves that last only for a short while. In order to thrive in combat, Phantom Warriors need to manage their phantoms wisely along with other resources.

Known problems:

Dead/expired phantoms still show up as party members even though they shouldn't be. Please let me know if anyone has ideas about how to work around this issue.
