Original Improved Combat Text mod by Codefly

This addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
- Shows the damage type (lightning, etc.) as icons or text!
- Text moves in a consistent direction and should be much easier to read than ToME's default for a variety of reasons.
- Can group damage for an entire player turn, or by every action taken - choose how much information you want to see!
- Various font sizes to choose from
- Various font coloring options (color by major damage type, use the default red / green, etc.)
- Text duration can be changed to fit your play style.

Installation:
For Steam users: subscribe to this mod
From site: Download the '%mod_name%.teaa' file and copy them to Game Addon directory: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\TalesMajEyal\game\addons

Remove:

Allows schematic-only artifacts from EoR to be learned AoA or Infinite Dungeon. Each one is unlocked randomly by defeating bosses (not elite bosses) above level 20.

Removes race lock from stone warden that prevents creation of non-dwarf stone wardens.
(Note: Stone Fortress was unchanged and has no special effect for non-dwarves)

Audiomancy is an audio enhancement for ToME that does not affect music. It started with the High Quality Sounds mod (thanks to Gurkoz), but it does a bit more than replace sounds. It enhances the code introducing random variance, layering, and new trigger points. Weapon types (sword, great axe, mace, sling, bows, etc.) have distinct sounds in combat, along with NPC types having different impact sounds. Many weapons have distinct critical hit sounds as well. Ranged weapons have separated attack and hit sounds. Melee and ranged talents you would have expected to produce sound before likely will with this mod. Multiple hits trigger multiple sounds, e.g. the Volley talent. There is still more to do, especially in terms of providing distinct sound effects for various game mechanics and talents, but the code as-is will affect almost every sound played in the game while adding more. I attempted to maximize compatibility, replacing a single function and using superloading and hooking for the rest.

Fixed the attackTarget hook (thank you to "Chief of Kilimanjaro" and "purpel frog" in the ToME Discord); it now properly returns two values. This should fix various misc issues, anything dependent on the second return value.
Also cleaned up a few stray typo semicolons (the consequences of switching between multiple programming languages) which may or may not have been causing other various and possibly undiscovered issues.

Reduced volume of the universal crit sound layer and blade crits.
Added "Audiomancy Addon Options" to the main game menu - enable/disable the unique critical hit sound for each weapon type,

Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:

• Unopened golden chests, graves and weird pedestals; giant digestive sacks and strange tentacle "trees" from the Forbidden Cults DLC; demon statues from the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC; strange conduits from the Embers of Rage DLC.
• Unopened vaults, including "hidden vault" sub-zones.
• Various quest-related events like Tempest Peak and the Sher'tul farportal.
• Sub-zones like damp caves, intimidating caves, and the temporal rift in Daikara.
• Glyph sequences from the Forbidden Cults DLC, as found on various levels.
• Various non-main-plot zones on the world map, like Ruined Dungeon or Mark of the Spellblaze (configurable), if you have not visited them or killed their associated guardian.

Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes".

1) Add Discordant as playable psionic subclass. A psionic tank with death radius around them (think of Mindrot, but less sucky). Wins battle through attrition, melts trash mobs just by standing. Can also spam tele-frags if you feel like it.

2) Add Kudzu as playable wilder subclass. Invasive, annoying, and hard to get rid of. Master of crowd controls and area denials. Cover the world with fungus, lichens, moss, and kudzus.

3) Add Scorpion as playable rogue subclass. Stealthy brawler with poison fist. Pull in your enemy and dethrone them with chain of combos.

4) Add Critic as playable afflicted subclass. High-risk, high-reward, critical-centric class that use feedback pool as life. Overpower your enemy with overwhelming amount of Gestures, or die from receiving too much criticism.

5) Add Colossus as playable race. Artificial giant constructed by dwarves to guard their gold, has some non-living characteristics. Starts on Reknor (dwarf start). A durable race with some drawbacks. Also like gold.

- This is a practice addon intended for personal use, but thank you if you decided to check it out anyway.

Adds a new class, the Lost, designed by Thornstromb and developed by me.
The Lost is a new Afflicted class based around a hybrid of Archery and Stealth. Skulking in the shadows, the Lost is filled with a piercing hatred for the living.
A nasty glass cannon that relies on tools and inscriptions for survival, but does atrocious amounts of damage while undetected. You have an alternate version of stealth that never breaks, and while you have no inbuilt source of stamina regen, as a Willpower-main class you'll have plenty of stamina for most fights.

Adds the Void Scholar, a twisted Celestial class themed around cosmic expansion and the emptiness of space, featuring a unique starting scenario. Void Scholars are dedicated spellcasters with poor durability, but many ways to negate damage and debilitate foes. Their spells are ineffective against nearby targets, but grow incredibly potent when cast at a distance -- strike from the depths of infinity, where no eyes or blades can reach! They use a unique resource called "Void Energy" that is built up by casting certain spells and quickly disperses when out of combat, requiring careful management to retain momentum.

Logia (generic): Three forbidden chants to turn away slings, arrows, and everything else!
Void (generic): Render foes impotent before the majesty of the Void!
Vacuum: Draw upon the cosmic vacuum to replenish your resources!
Dilation: Pull space apart like putty to shred your foes!
Chaos: Crumble away your foes' defenses with the Void's power!
Collapse: Slowly crush enemies down to nothing under the Void's relentless weight!
Subspace: Ride and shape the Void to control the battlefield!
Dissolution: Dissolve away the material world to erode the strength of those who oppose you!
Genesis (locked): Repaint the world in your image to build overwhelming power!
Hyperspace (locked): Stretch and bend the universe to resculpt existence and unleash untold destruction!
Terminus (locked): Bring the slow, inevitable doom of the universe upon your foes!

All things come to an end, adventurer. Those who place themselves above the slow march of the cosmos should take heed not to stand upon nothing.

Adds all races available in the Arena campaign to the Orcs campaign. You will still need to have a race unlocked in order to play it in the Orcs campaign.

This should work for all DLC races and most addon races, assuming they are not implemented in an unusual way and their addon weight is lower than that of this addon (200000).

Places the entrance to the tinker cave from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) on the world map for all characters in the Age of Ascendancy campaign, without requiring that the character be playing a Tinker class or rescue a tinker escort.

Adds the 'Runed Shield' ego for shields, which grants a chance to cast spells on block. This can only trigger once per turn.

Lets you buy Cunning/Survival at the weapon shops in Last Hope.

Adds Outlander as a playable human subrace, he has VERY UNIQUE talents.
T1: learn skills from killed enemies with the cost of some exp.
T2: better chance to get egos on random items.
T3: control an enemy by paying money.
T4: boost player's rank.

v1.0.10: now it costs 100% - 20% current xp if you want to learn a talent from an enemy.

Get a challenge on every level, but the rewards are a little smaller to compensate (less stat points). Random artifact challenges eliminated.

Slightly modifies internal tinker implementation so that attaching or detaching a tinker on a bikini or mankini does not count as taking it off for purposes of the associated achievement.

Player's targetting improvements.
- The initial target for the talents of beam, ball and cone types is chosen to cover as many enemies as possible.
- Visible enemies are marked with colored numbers.
- Red color for NPCs that should be able to attack you if you make an action, green for those that will not, orange for those that will not only able to attack if you move (both participants speed, energy and availability of ranged talents are considered).
- The numbers represent the mobs' relative 'power', they can be used in target selection mode.

Modifies the Attune Mindstar talent to allow individual control over the nature-vs.-mind attument of your mainhand and offhand wielded mindstars. Also adds a status indicator in the buffs display showing the attunement of your wielded mindstars.

This is a fork of Better Item Descriptions that simply makes the tooltip larger and uses long phrases instead of abbreviations.
It also works with zOmnibus's Inscription Compare feature.

Places unplayable staring dugeons on map. Allowing all 4 extra dungeons. Unlocking Yeek island. And lasty placing all extra cities on map.

Adds the Spellweaver, a Mage subclass who creates custom spells with Spellweaving components.
For example, a Spellweaver might make a spell using the Fire element, the Beam shape, and the Damage Over Time effect to make a simple Damage over Time Fire Beam. However, spells can get vastly more complicated, with things like a "Grand Checkerboard of Eclipsing and Feverish Wallweaving and Prismatic and Radiat Lingering Harm" if you want to be way over the top.
Additionally, Spellweavers can make shielding and teleportation spells with components too, although all three types of spells use the same slots.
Spellweavers who are Humans, Elves, Dwarves or Undeads will also begin in Wovenhome in the East and have a special dungeon to start the game.

Two new Archmage style classes; Arcanist and Elementist.
One new Enchanter class.
Some extra talents for Alchemist.

Artifact gems are more interesting to attach to golems.

Two new item types with unique egos: Ritual Blades and Wardstones.

Arcanist Features:
Like Archmage, but also starts with temporal, meta and nightfall unlocked, and no elemental categories.
Has two unique categories; High magic and Void magic.
Can also unlock Illusion, Distortion, Power and Morph.

Elementist Features:
Like Archmage, but only elemental categories.
Has three unique categories; Elementalism, Corrupted Elements and Elemental Fusion.

Enchanter Features:
Apply a variety of enchantments to your equipment.
Dabble in safe and unsafe hedge magic.
Defeat monsters with your prowess with a staff.

Archmage Features:
1 new category containing 8 arcane/elemental combo spells.

Alchemist Features:
Altered Alchemists Guild quest.
Two new unique categories: Poison Alchemy and Metal Alchemy.
They also get access to Mana Alchemy and Herbalism.

Adds the Calligrapher, a short-ranged mage class that uses ceaseless aggression and high mobility to debilitate their enemies in a whirl of bloodied ink.
The goal is to make a class where instantly dashing into the middle of a pile of rares and laying about with AoEs is the correct way to play, rather then elaborate suicide.
They primarily deal darkness damage, with secondary fire and blight elements.
They use the brand-new Ink resource, notable for having a hard cap of 100 Ink. Ink is restored by killing high ranked enemies, or by damaging yourself with Blood Distillation.
Aside from the usual unlocked Combat Training and Survival, Calligrapher uses completely unique trees. It has 4 unlocked class trees, one locked class tree and one generic tree.

Planned changes:
-I have an idea for another locked class category
-I might add another generic category as well
-A few of the sustains might have particle effects added to them, like Divine Cipher
-It is distantly possible that I might add sound effects to the class. I'm generally not a fan of ToME's sound design though, so this is unlikely.

I like to think that I've been fairly thorough in playtesting, but there are probably still bugs and exploits lurking.
If you run across any bugs then please report them. Include the relevant lua error and whether you have any other addons active.
There shouldn't be any other addon conflicts, since I've made liberal use of shortnames and haven't superloaded anything destructively, but it's still possible that there are some.
I do still recommend having as few non-essential addons active as possible, but this addon shouldn't affect even non-Calligrapher playthroughs due to the class being disabled on random enemies.

Increase character stats:

Pay gold to increase: Stat, Class, Category & Prodigy points. Buy extra lives, increase health, mana, stamina & steam pool/regen. Increase physical, magical and mental critical damage and resistance.

Master jeweler:

Imbue jewelry, armor & weapons. Imbue yellow/orange Unique items! You can imbue them as many times, with as many different gems as you want! Includes a custom shop that sells gems and a wide variety of rare and unique jewelry.

New Dungeons:

3 Custom dungeons have been added to the world map [Blood Soaked Ruins, Infested Ruins & Road to Derth].
Extra dungeons: Sludgenest and Noxious Caldera will now have a 100% chance to spawn.

New Bosses:

There are 8 unique bosses that will spawn in the new dungeons (With custom sprites). Battle against vampires, werewolves and wererats in your journey to glory! Bosses drop gold on death *They will also spawn in Infinite Dungeon*

1. Please note you will need to start a new game for the new Merchants/ Dungeons to appear.

For pre-existing saves you can enable developer mode (in the main menu, under options) When in game, press "ctrl+a" then press "r" to reload the zone and the new content will load in. (Enabling developer mode will disable achievements)

2. Dialog to purchase spells wont appear unless you have the required amount of gold.

You can [reveal] the talent tree for free, talents will be [revealed] in the level up menu ('p'). You will need the required amount of gold to be your inventory for the dialog option to [unlock] the talent tree to appear. The cost will be listed for each talent.

3. DLC is NOT required to play this addon

Talents that require dlc will be clearly noted next to the talent, if you don't own a dlc and try to purchase a dlc talent the gold will be removed but the talent wont be acquired.

4. Will CONFLICT with any mod that changes the world map (eyal.lua) Incompatible with \"Extra Dungeons\", \"Godmode Merchant\" & \"Infinite Dungeons Merchants\"

Allows base Imbue Item to apply to helmets, and changes Crafty Hands to allow any armour.

This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness
- sorts all stats by category - DPS/DEF/MISC
- item's passive power always the same blue color (not a random blue-yellow-pink-green)
- item's usable power - always yellow
- all rarity categories are displayed
- encumbrance value moved to the right under item name
- "on hit" powers always green
- "Stats" have an ornage highlight and placed before others because it's most important one
- Removed many extra-explain details, which any veteran player would not want to read each time
for example, stat "S.pwr/crit" shorten from "Spellpower on spell critical (stacks up to 3 times)"
means you do remember that it can stack only 3 times, and is not so super important anyway

Most important thing to remember
- Requirements only shown for those you don't meet. If you want to see all reqs - hold CTRL
- "Phasing" stat means - "Damage Shield penetration", the name was taken from the source and looks good to me, and short enough
- The "-" minus sign at the end of stat mean immunity or reduction of some sort, for example "Blind-" = "Blindness immunity",
- "Max.summ" = Max wilder summons
- "Summ.HP.reg" = Life regen bonus (wilder-summons)
- "Def/telep" = Defense after a teleport
- "Res/telep" = Resist all after a teleport
- "Dur/telep" = New effects duration reduction after a teleport

Improves the "Press <control> to compare" functionality for objects.  New features:

• When pressing <control>, a note at the top of the text will tell you which object in your equipment is being compared against the current item.
• While holding <control>, tapping <shift> will cycle through the objects in your equipment that the current item can be compared to.  Useful when wearing two rings, dual-wielding, or using the second weapon set.
• (new in v3) Runes and inscriptions in your inventory or store inventories can be compared via <control> to corresponding inscriptions on your body.

This addon adds three new content: a new race, a new class and a new area with mini-games.

I., Adds a new race: the Vorloth.

Vorloths are not from Eyal, they are from planet Luxam.
They are unique sound creatures, fragile but powerful.
Vorloths have their own starting zone, and they have a unique post-game boss fight.

II., Adds a new Chronomancer subclass, the Quantum Slider.

The class has a very unique way of gameplay: you should run & teleport as fast and as many times as you just can.
Running with very high speed and teleporting gives you several benefits. Sliders are always on the Run.

Quantum Slider has only the Spellbinding (locked) tree from the original chronomancy trees.

These mini-games have no effect on the campaign, these are for enjoyment.

Adds a keybind to activate the new player AI. Set to Alt+F1 by default.

Once you click ALT-F1 (you can change this key with Keybinding)
it does:

1.Auto explore
2.Fight using the same AI coded for enemies in the game
3.Rest
4. go back to 1

You can weight the talent used by the AI by right clicking on your character and clicking on "Define Player-Aioo" at the bottom of the dialog box.

It will Stop when your character is low on life, when you are on an Exit, when a dialog box open, or you are blinded.
Then you control your character. And once you are healed you can launch the AI again with ALT-F1 (or your key)
You can force the AI to Stop by closing the TOME window. The dialog for saving will appear immediately, stopping the AI (repeatedly bashing ALT-F1 work too)

!Warning: Use it at your own risk. This can put your character in a sure death situation!

Goal:
It will clear a level in a few seconds.

Known Bug:
- Talent with a weight 0, still activate themselves sometimes (especially if they are instant). Overweighting other talents (weight 5+) should prevent weight 0 talent to activate
-Some talents cannot be used by NPC (Vimsense, suncloak, Lure.. etc) .. so the AI wont use them. Putting them on autocast is the only way the AI will use them

This addon replaces ToME's map display with one that's more in-line with other games. You can drag the mouse to scroll, use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and left-click to set the currently viewed area (instead of accidentally traveling there, which can still be done via right-click menu). It also shows the viewport rectangle on the map, and if your computer is powerful enough, you can even show the actual terrain instead of the confusing color blocks, or make the walls red to easily find paths you have yet to explore. The player and zone exits are also displayed as icons on the map. Additionally, if you travel via the map and stop unexpectedly (i.e., you ran into your golem), a friendly dialog will pop up asking if you'd like to continue to your destination.

Мод заменяет карту игры на нечто более схожее с другими играми. Вы можете перемещать карту мышкой, приближать или отдалять карту колесиком и устанавливать текущий обзор левым кликом мыши (вместо того, что бы случайно переместиться туда, как было ранее). Карат способна отображать реальную местность ландшафта и окрашивать непроходимые места в красный цвет, что бы проще найти дорогу.
Выходы из зоны так же отображаются на карте в виде значков, кроме того реализован всплывающий диалог при перемещении с помощью карты.

Infinite Dungeon challenges occur on every level after the first. Rewards are tweaked to be a little more generous, and character advancement after level 50 does not slow down until after level 1000 instead

Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:

• Insufficient or non-existent resource generation.
• Other dependant talents.
• Missing mastery talents.
• Missing items.
• Anything specific, like Chronomancy/Spellbinding and such.

Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well.

These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order.

Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description.

Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else.

Adds game options related to equipment curses and cursed auras from the Defiling Touch talent:

• "[ZOmnibus] | Show power of cursed auras", which modifies the buffs display for cursed auras to include the "curse power" based on number of worn equipment pieces with each curse type (including +2 bonus from Defiling Touch, if applicable).
• "[ZOmnibus] | Tag cursed items in equipment", which adds an extra curse-related keyword to a worn cursed item's listing in the equipment display.

Also adds a tooltip to Defiling Touch's Cursed Aura Selection dialog, showing the effect of each curse if you select it.

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite.

Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for campaigns and difficulty levels, allowing characters to play campaigns and difficulty levels that you haven't unlocked. Doesn't actually unlock anything.

Tweak to make the APE also generate Fortress Energy, for using tinkers in the main Maj'Eyal campain. Also lets Adventurers start with an APE and equipment for tinker classes, even if you haven't unlocked that achievement the normal way.

Note: this does not auto-extract gems with Stone Alchemy.

Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up.
It is meant to make Madness difficulty possible without cheating or hacking of any kind. The game isn't really meant to be beaten on Madness-Roguelike in a legit way, which is why trainers/cheats/savescams exist. There have been only a couple of winners that might be real and legit, and they are Adventure class with no video proof.

Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

How to use this addon:

    - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
    - Start a New Game.
    - Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
    - You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
    

Operating Modes:

    - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
    - Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
    - Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
    - Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    

Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes):

    - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
    - All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
    - MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.

The Blade Dancer's key trait is flexibility. There are myriad ways to build this character, all of them with great potential for entertaining gameplay.

Eight New Talent Trees - Five core dances: Dance of the Moons, Storm, Torrent, Mountain, and Leaf. Each dance improves aspects of your character, as well as granting access to powerful techniques while active. Spread your talent points across multiple dances, or focus on just one or two. Other Talent trees allow you to improve your dances or even mesh them together into deadly combinations.

Unique starting Area - Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will start in a new, unique starting area, with a couple of novel critters and a new boss at the end.

Class-Specific Quest - Upon finishing their starting area, Human, Elf, Halfling, and Dwarf Blade Dancers will gain access to a class-specific sidequest that runs parallel to the main game. Completing this quest grants access to a nice peice of equipment.

Auto-Scumming - Many of the dances raise your core stats while active. To keep the player from constantly ducking in and out of menus, stat requirements for gear and talent-learning will automatically adjust to accomodate those dances that are learned, but currently inactive.

Other Addon Features:

New Bosses - Not every Blade Dancer is a hero. A handful of renegades roam Maj'Eyal, looking to ruin someone's day...

New Boss Artifacts - ...at least those renegade Blade Dancers carry some decent gear with them.

A Combat Veteran tree rework, because the base tree isn't very attractive. Full details in the forum thread.

Quick Recovery: Quick Recovery and Fast Metabolism merged. Lifegain scales with CON.
Warrior's Determination: If more than one enemy is visible, take reduced damage, improving as you see more enemies.
Spell Shield: Spell save unchanged. 4-15% Arcane/Fire/Cold/Lightning resist added. When you save against a magical effect, daze the caster for 1-3 turns.
Unending Frenzy: Once a turn when you hit an enemy in melee you gain a 3 turn 0.7%-2.5% combat speed bonus which stacks up to 10 times. Kills restore life/stamina, lifegain scales with CON and occurs once per turn.

This version has seen a complete playthrough main AoA campaign on insane roguelike without major issues, however it's still being tested and subject to change.

This addon overloads the combat techniques tree, and is therefore incompatible with any addon or future versions which change that file.

Makes the Font of Sacrifice from the Forbidden Cults DLC (required) available as a reward for rescuing the lost merchant.

Not all adventurers seek fortune, not all that defend the world have good deeds in mind.
Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

This revision is mostly about removing incompatible bits which changed between 1.4 and 1.5, so the classes are rather bare at the moment. I'm registering it so I can play online. I'll post when the additional content is ready.

Increases the mastery value increase to 0.4, and removes the 1 increase limit. Originally made by jojolagger, I only bumped up addon weight so it can work with my addon collection with online profile on.

A variation on wyrmics, as a multi-elemental debuff-centered class.
Rather than having their abilities scattered among the elements, they'll rank up melee attacks, mental attacks, and elements separately.

The core of Wyrmic is:
Combat Techniques
Draconic Combat - provides weapon attacks.
Draconic Energy - provides mindpower attacks.
Draconic Body - provides mobility and survivability.

Then, a wyrmic picks one of the six natural elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Sand, Acid, or Poison. Each element has a single ability available right away, and a set of advanced skills that require a category point to access.
Finally, the advanced Prismatic Tree rewards you for changing elements.

Apex Predator - new generic tree that fills in a few gaps and lets you wear gems.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

Adds an alchemy table to the Infinite Dungeon, that appears with roughly a 50% chance at each floor. Here you are allowed to brew potions (similar to those achievable from the alchemical brotherhood) and transmute items into artifacts (rewards and costs are somewhat similar to the quest-mechant from Last Hope, though there is a price-scale). Depending on what you pay for, transmuted items keep their item tier (option: lesser) get a bonus of one (option: greater) or two (option: superior) item tiers. When transmuting tier 5 (option: greater) or tier 4 and higher (option: superior) items, these become extraordinarily powerful.

Added 3 categories, one for a melee summoner, one for a ranged weapon summoner, one for a pure summoner.

Timeshapers are a variant of Paradox Mage that start off weaker on offence, but stronger on defence.

Adds two new shadowy Celestial classes.
First is the Moon Paladin, who fight using two weapons and the two moons.
Second is the Starslinger, who imbues their shots with the power of the stars.
Also two new subraces that start in the Far East, regardless of class.
Mardrop Humans and Star Elves.

Now with a new starting zone: Save the Sunwall crops from a worm infestation.
New second starting zone: The Tenebrous Glades.
Travel to the barely made training camp of Midnight via a jumpgate on the west side of the Gates of Morning, then head southwest.
The shadows summoned to conceal the camp have become restless and dangerous. Quiet them down and investigate what is working them up.

Currently there are nine new categories.
Celestial/Night: A utility based generic category that generates negative celestial energies.
Celestial/Lunar Combat: Powerful offensive talents invoking the power of the moons.
Celestial/Guidance: Some defensive and one offensive talents for Moon Paladin.
Celestial/Shooting Stars: Combines star magic with ranged weapons.
Celestial/Deep Space: Some high level celestial magic for Starslinger.
Celestial/Sigils: Shape negative celestial energies into traps.
Celestial/Glory: High level light magic for Sun Paladins and Anorithil.

Original: "Isaacssv552", "Asellia". Allows modification of leveling. Can modify stat gain, talent gain, category gain, life gain, and more. If you would like to be able to modify other values post them in the comments. Inspired by Asellia's adjustable_level_points addon.
UPDATE: I've added the ability to modify stat and level maximums. I have also added the ability to customize which levels stats, talents, talent types, and prodigies are gained at. This allows for alternative leveling schemes such as gaining 2 class points on every even level and 2 generic points every odd level. For example, the max/milestone level could be set to 100, xp gain at 300, and all intervals doubled with alternating offsets for a faster early game, a slower late game, and increased potential for early game specialization.

Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. This is a fork of Movarc'h's Impoved Escorts by mannendake. Credit to Disnag for necromancer escort and Movarc'h for the base addon.

Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring.

v3.5.0 *** FOR ToME v1.6.5 ***
This is a fork (with permission) of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks. It includes as well C.Lowe/CaptainTrip's improvements as well. It does not include, but recommends also using Johnny0's Faster RRE add-on for even better rest and auto-explore experience. This add-on contains numerous Quality of Life improvements designed to make resting and auto-exploring easier to use, brings the add-on overall up to being compatible with 1.6.x, and generally seeks to remove it being more optimal to do timed rests or manual recovery (particularly to help higher difficulty level and players without Faster RRE). Cleaned up feature list in this take, to make it easier to see what it does.

It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them.

Latest Update Notes:
• Changed steam sustain behavior to match current gameplay. Before sustains tended to shut off when available resource was 0, now they don't seem to do so. This will now only turn off sustains that drain steam if steam is going below 0, so as to get to a steady finish state.
• Fix minor bug where stealth enabling was always on if you had it.
• Added new option to ignore quest members when resting or exploring. It defaults to off but for those folks that know they want to ignore those quest allies and rest a bit.

Existing Features:
• removed First Sighting and Reset on Rest. Someone can patch them in if they'd like it back, but I'm not really keeping them alive.

• When resting, it will check for infusions and runes that could be used to accelerate HP, Mana, or Equilibrium (via Ancestral Life or Meditation) recovery. If the acceleration appears significant, it will use them, rotating from first available infusion or rune outward. In experiment, I found this often reduced rest turn time by 50-80 percent, improving the more drained the resource was. Particularly helpful for Mana, as it avoids trade-off advantages of short term resting (for increased mana regen) + rune use by just handling that more optimal play for you automatically without breaking rest.
• Support for steam implants, with usual checkboxes. This may not always be faster based on steam sustains that may disable after the initial round of rest and steam implants having very long cooldowns (30+ turns) and steam's resource max being pretty small. It tries to be conservative on that, so will most likely help for cases where your functional steam regen rate is < 2.00 and never activate for things much above it. I found I was often getting 5-20 steam per turn, which makes the implant support useless.
• Supports for medical healing salve injectors. Cooldown measurements are a bit odd here, since they can range from 5-20 depending on injector. Went with 10 as a happy medium for how many turns of natural regen is considered to be equal to the cooldown cost of using it.
• Adding support to auto-stealth if available and not stealthed.
• Option for ignoring small damage when moving and resting, basically if it is <5%, it will ignore it by default, prevent small DoTs from preventing rest.
• Options added to control whether or not to use inscriptions to accelerate recovery of things.
• Fixes a ToME bug that can cause autoexplore or running to move only a single square and hang if used immediately after killing an enemy.
• Lore discovery will only stop autoexplore if it triggers a popup.
• Autoexplore will ignore Exploratory/Infinite Farportal return portals until the entire level has been explored.
• Ignores special terrain features such as Font of Healing after they are first discovered.
• Ignores open chests and alt Maze floor cracks.
• Rest and AE ask for confirmation if you have an escort in your party.
• Ignore already activated pedestals.
• Checks for and waits on any rechargeable items.
• Checks for and reloads any ammo in offhand quiver.
• Waits for cooldowns of talents set to auto-use.
• Waits for depleted air to replenish.
• Combines all checks into a single instance of rest, rather than having cooldowns etc. require a second resting phase.

Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'.

Available modes:
• 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy.
• 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring.

• Compatible with ToME v1.6.0

• Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments.

Creates an event where you can invade a civilian shelter of steam giants, for fun and profit.

An experimental addon that modifies the rendering of various lasting spell/talent effects so that they are displayed below the player and NPCs, in an attempt to prevent multiple overlapping effects from effectively obscuring actors in their area of effect. Also can optionally "flatten" display of overlapping effects by displaying only one effect animation in the overlapping area (hopefully also reducing slowdown on older computers).

Functionality is controlled by game options "UI | Display effects under actors" and "UI | "Flatten" overlapping effects".

Makes a number of changes/improvements to the Earth and Stone spell trees to bring their combined utility/power level more in line with their elemental counterpoints, integrating them better with each other and (hopefully!) providing a more sensible, unified package for the three classes that share them.

Changes from basegame:

Body of Stone has been significantly buffed to bring it up to par with its counterparts in the other advanced elemental trees as a spell that expands the earth spell family's functionality into a new playstyle -- that of a stationary "artillery" that trades mobility for field control and durability:
Body of Stone's cooldown reduction now scales up to 50% at max level, and the reduction now rounds to nearest, meaning at max level Pulverising Auger has a cooldown of only 1 turn;
Body of Stone now reduces the cooldown of Stone Spikes, integrating it more into Stone Warden's gameplay;
Body of Stone's fire/lightning/acid resistance has been replaced with physical/fire/lightning flat damage reduction, improving its protective capabilities;
Body of Stone now grants knockback and teleport resistance, making it less likely to be broken by enemies and useful in places such as Dark Crypt or Vor Pride;
Body of Stone now automatically unsustains (with no cooldown) when exiting combat as QoL;
Body of Stone has new visual effects!

Crystalline Focus's save bonus has been replaced with an additional chance for all damaging Earth, Stone, and Eldritch Stone spells to stun targets; combined with Earthen Missiles' and Earthquake's multihit (the latter of which has the bonus added to its native stun chance) and Body of Stone's cooldown reduction, earth mages can now repeatedly stun vulnerable enemies, impairing their damage and talent cooldowns. This also aids their utility for Stone Warden and Arcane Blade, for whom the damage from Earth spells falls off quickly compared to weapon damage.

Mudslide can now be aimed at yourself for a radial attack that pulls enemies in, making the talent more desirable for Stone Warden and Arcane Blade (particularly in conjunction with Body of Stone which would otherwise prevent them from engaging foes in melee).
Additionally, Mudslide now pulls and pushes targets in order of distance, making it behave much better against groups of foes.

Stone Skin's cooldown reduction is now compatible with Stone Spikes, similarly to Crystalline Focus and Body of Stone.

This addon hard-overloads the entire data files for the Earth, Stone, and Eldritch Stone talents, and so will almost certainly be incompatible with addons that make changes to the aforementioned.

Adds the 'Technique/Shield tactics' talent tree as a new generic category available to Bulwarks. Starts locked at 1.3 mastery, and requires Con.

1)Tempered Will:
While your shield is raised you become a nearly impenetrable wall of metal and pure grit, able to divert some of the force of even non-physical assualts.
While Block is active, you will gain X% Physical resistance and Y% of all non-Physical incoming damage will be converted to Physical damage. Damage conversion is improved by your Spell Save, and Physical resistance by your Constitution.

2)Relentless Retaliation:
Each time you fully block incoming damage, you gain X% attack speed for one turn. This effect can stack up to 8 times. The effect improves with Dexterity.

3)Tactical Defense:
Each time you fully block incoming damage, you use the tactical advantage to reduce the remaining cooldown of your inscriptions. This will reduce the cooldown of a random inscription by one turn, and can occur at most X times per turn. This value improves with Constitution.

4)Reflexive Block:
You are unmatched in your ability to react with your shield. If an attack would deal damage greater than X% of your maximum life, you raise your shield in an instant, preemptively reducing the damage by Y% of your block value and assuming a blocking stance. This bonus block will not check or trigger Block cooldown. Damage reduction improves with Constitution. This talent has a cooldown.

Contains several classes developed by Root of All Things, including:

• Raider: A Tinker who fights with a melee weapon in one hand and a steamgun in the other. The Raider has mastered the deadly art of throwing explosives everywhere, even if they risk hurting themselves with it.

• Animist: A Wilder who is blessed by the spirits of fire, ice, wind and earth. The Animist conjures weapons that scale with his talents, and switches between them based on a set of Stances.

A new tinker class, the Demolisher.

This addon requires the Embers of Rage DLC to function.

Demolishers are designed to be a sort of Steam-Caster, using bombs, drones, and their steam-buggy to destroy their enemies rather than weapons.

Steamtech / Explosive: Plant remote charges with a tiny cooldown and blow them all up at once, lay down minefields, and send suicidal mecharachnid mines towards your foes.
Steamtech / Drones: Send out drones to create storm and smoke, while others hover around for your protection.
Steamtech / Pilot: Your steambuggy is your defense, your offense, and can hold so many explosives.
Steamtech / Engine: Your steambuggy is also the best way to get around. Scorch the ground and flatten your enemies as you zoom around corners.

Removes the limit on the types of poisons you can have active. This is a joke addon.

Experience Controller is an addon that lets you change the amount of experience you receive upon killing foes.

You can enable/disable it realtime and it will work from the next kill onward. It also works for arena and infinite dungeon alike.

THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.

 

How to enable/disable or configure this addon:

• Download, install and activate it. Start a New Game.
• You can enable/disable or change mode, set the amount of flat experience or multiplier to apply to each future kill from the "Gameplay" settings in-game.

 

Modes functionality:

• VANILLA -> Doesn't change anything compared to original game.
• BALANCED (default) -> Gives on general more experience to the player on higher difficulties than original game, depending also on the rank and level of the defeated enemy.
• VERY FAST -> Gives 250% flat experience compared to original TOME.
• FLAT -> Each kill gives X experience points, regardless of what you kill or what level you/they are. How much per kill can be configured in the Gameplay settings.
• CUSTOM -> Multiplies by X all the experience you gain from kills. You can set your own multiplier in the Gameplay settings.
• INSTANT LV50 -> One kill for LV50. A cheat way to test out new builds REALLY fast.

Fixes an error caused by this mod when trying to curse items. Line 342 of AlterTalents.lua changed to "self:incIncStat(self.STAT_WIL, -2)" Does not require the Original More Taints, but will remove if asked. Original by HousePet, forked by grayaegis to fix curse errors, forked again by mannendake due to taints not actually generating and making descriptions/races more compatible.

Plenum ToolTip Custom Edit: Enhanced Plenum tooltip display for ToME version 0.3 for ToME 1.6.1

This addon replaces the normal tooltip for actors in TOME with a more detailed description of monster abilities and characteristics. It adds to the standard tooltip detailed information on speed, main-hand, off-hand, and ranged damage, and damage modifiers and extra crit power, including damage penetration and damage affinities, plus retaliation damage, depending on what options are selected (from a tab in Game Options menu). This makes it much easier to inspect multiple monsters and quickly identify the most threatening. By holding a meta-key (ctrl, alt, or shift) and hovering the mouse over a monster, information on its status immunities and talents is displayed.

In addition, information on temporary terrain features (like smoke and darkness) and map effects (from spells and the like) will be displayed in the terrain tooltip if the appropriate options are enabled.

Introduce Phantom Warrior, a two-handed chronomancy class.
Different from other chronomancers who are adept at traveling along the timeline, Phantom Warriors enhance their craft in manipulating the space of the battlefield. Each strike of their hefty two-handed weapon has a chance of breaking the stability of surrounding aether, creating inferior phantoms of themselves that last only for a short while. In order to thrive in combat, Phantom Warriors need to manage their phantoms wisely along with other resources.

Known problems:
- The size of the save file tends to grow quite large by late game. It appears to be caused by some reference counting issues plus the fact that inventories are cloned. Dead/expired phantoms still show up as party members even though they shouldn't be. Please let me know if anyone has ideas about how to work around this issue.
