golem

Race: Jury-rig

Short Name:
juryrig_race

Adds new Jury-rig race. Jury-rigs are constructs built out of mismatched golem parts. They can wield up to five gems; other than that, they have few equipment slots, but can gain more if they can find a willing golemancer to add them.

(Disclaimer: Character tile graphics in the initial release are beta-quality; we intend to add (slightly) better tiles in a future release. We Apologize for the Inconvenience.™)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Ignore Golem Locks

Short Name:
ignore_golem_locks

Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock checks for various alternate forms of the Alchemist's golem (notably drolems and glass golems from the Forbidden Cults DLC), allowing Alchemist characters to be created with a golem of a locked form. Does not actually unlock the golem forms.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Tinkers for Sidekicks

Short Name:
sidekick_tinker

An experimental addon that expands tinker-related actions from the use-item dialog and inventory dialog to allow attaching/detaching tinkers on equipment worn by the Alchemist's golem or other permanent party members. In particular:

  • From the player inventory dialog, the "Attach to item" action will include suitable equipment worn by your golem in its list of attachment candidates.
  • From the Interact with the Golem equipment/inventory dialog, the "Attach to item" action will attach tinkers from the player's inventory to equipment worn by the golem (popping up a list if there are multiple candidates), and the "Detach from item" and "Detach tinker" actions will remove tinkers from the golem's equipment and return them to the player's inventory.
  • Drag-and drop in the Interact with the Golem equipment/inventory dialog should also work for attaching and detaching tinkers.
  • The "Gameplay | Swap tinkers" option, if enabled, should behave the same way when changing the golem's equipment as when changing the player's equipment.

This addon should also work similarly with the Annihilator's mecharachnid from the Embers of Rage DLC, the Writhing One's worm that walks from the Forbidden Cults DLC, or other permanent party members provided by other addons; for those cases, we recommend also using addons Interact with the Worm, Interact with the Mech, or Interact with Sidekicks, respectively, to provide access similar to the Interact with the Golem dialog.

Sidekick Level Catch-up

Short Name:

Golem Can Pass

Short Name:
golem_pass

Fixes an apparent bug in game releases 1.6.0 thru 1.7.6, restoring the ability of Alchemist golems (and other NPCs) to displace and push past non-hostile NPCs.

Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack.

[NOTE: We anticipate/hope that the relevant bug will be fixed in a future game release, at which time this addon will be officially deprecated.]

Golem Gender

Short Name:
golem_gender

Allows the Alchemist's golem to be created as female or neuter rather than the default male, via the "Customize" option on the character creation dialog. This is a purely cosmetic modification, altering the golem's appearance and log messages describing the golem's actions.

Also available as part of the ZOmnibus Addon Pack and ZOmnibus Lite.

[strike]The NPCs that spawn are: Adriel, Sun Paladin, Zemek & Gurock. They are broken down into catagories Adriel=nature SunPaladin=combat Zemek=spells Gurock=tinkerer.[/strike]
Please note: You will need to have the required amount of gold for the talent to appear in the dialog for purchase.

*This mod IS now compatible with the campaign*
[strike] *WARNING* This addon is NOT compatible with the story mode, it won't crash the game or anything but will turn some factions hostile. If you want to buy spells in the main story you can *Disable* this mod -in game- ("Main menu" > "addons") and Enable my addon below.
*** If you choose to ignore this warning, you will die... A LOT! *** [/strike]

***DLC is NOT required to play this addon, talents that require a dlc will be clearly noted next to the talent, if you don't own a dlc and try to purchase a dlc talent the gold will be removed but the talent wont be acquired.

I may tweak balance in the future, spell cost / npc spawn rate ect. *Still open to feedback on this*

*AkaviriBlade has been removed, I will no longer kill you <3*
[strike]No, seriously if you play the Story mode with this addon I will literally spawn in to kill you, Sooo... Just Don't Do It! ...Really, you'll regret it...[/strike]
