Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them.

Description

This addon adds the Sapper as a playable class. As it is a Tinker, it will require Embers of Rage DLC to work.

Sappers use their knowledge of steam weaponry to build construct that will fight your foes and destroy the walls of their lair.
They have an automated onarger, serving as a permanent ally. They can manipulate the terrain by digging tunnels and creating impassable pits.
But they are also trained for short range combat and will not hesitate to stick their pickaxe in their enemies' skulls.

They have 9 class trees, including 4 locked ones :
- Battle Machinery
- Siege Engine (new tree) : build 3 different temporary construct that will attack your foes and protect you
- Onager (new tree) : build a permanent construct that will follow you, hurt and disable your foes, and help you reposition
- Tool Combat (new tree) : join the fray, using your knowledge of tools to deconstruct your foes' equipment as you fight, or hit your construct to temporarily improve them instead.
- Death Tools (new tree) : use the carnage of the battlefield to your own advantage

- Automation (locked)
- Sapper (locked, new tree) : control the field to improve your odds of survival
- Steampunch Arts (locked, new tree) : find new inventive ways to punch your enemies in the face, or embed a pickaxe in their skulls

This addon adds three new content: a new race, a new class and a new area with mini-games.

I., Adds a new race: the Vorloth.

Vorloths are not from Eyal, they are from planet Luxam.
They are unique sound creatures, fragile but powerful.
Vorloths have their own starting zone, and they have a unique post-game boss fight.

II., Adds a new Chronomancer subclass, the Quantum Slider.

The class has a very unique way of gameplay: you should run & teleport as fast and as many times as you just can.
Running with very high speed and teleporting gives you several benefits. Sliders are always on the Run.

Quantum Slider has only the Spellbinding (locked) tree from the original chronomancy trees.

You can enter into a new shop, where ring imbuing can be done like in Angolwen.
This enables anti-magic characters imbuing too, before the East.

You can play two different mini-games there too:

a, a Soko-Ban puzzle game

b, and a real time epic Space Battle game

These mini-games have no effect on the campaign, these are for enjoyment.
Every murderhobo adventurer has to relax sometimes and play videogames.

Creates a setting under Game Options/Gameplay for selecting the
first escort that will spawn.

This is intended to allow players to make characters that rely on a certain
escort reward without having to reroll repeatedly or savescum to get what they
need, but not gain the advantage of selecting ALL the escorts to get the best
possible reward every time. With this addon, only the first escort to spawn
will be of the selected type; all others will be randomly selected.

An advantage of this over addons that allow selecting the escort type when it
spawns is that it is less likely to cause bugs. This addon does not create a
new in-game menu, but rather handles selection through the settings menu.
Escorts are generated using the standard quest code.

Adds the Inferno Forger, a tinker class. As steamtech swept over Maj'Eyal, some mages adapted to it. Similar to Psyshots, these so-called Inferno Forgers use steampower to enhance their own powers - in this case, fire magic.

This addon adds Trolls as a playable race to the game.

Trolls possess the Trollblood talent, which grants them high life-regeneration, but makes them vulnerable to fire.
Their racial abilities scale with their size. A huge troll is a strong troll, but the higher they grow, the deeper they fall.

Adds Oozewalkers, antimagic powered undead who are incapable of using infusions but gain powerful racial talents. They also begin in a new starting town (shared with Oozemancers).
Additionally, people beginning in this starting zone can complete the quest Storming the City through it to gain a different reward.
Note: This is the first release and the Storming the City alternate reward is a very strange item, so it may not function as intended for all sustains. Additionally, balance may not be spot on yet, balancing is hard and I am not good at it.

Racial Talents:
Infusion of Slime - Use one Infusion from your inventory, putting the talent on the cooldown of the inscription plus five.
Oozing Blood - Gain a regeneration effect for 5/6/7 turns, scaling with the greater of Willpower and Constitution.
Jelly Form - Gain many weak resistances. None of the resistances values are high enough to be reliable, but it gives a lot of them, so.
Dissolving Dash - Dash to a location, moving through enemies to a tile 5-10 tiles away and corroding everything you pass through, reducing their resist all for a short time.

Reward from Storming the City with the Oozing Cradle:
Phosphorus Heart, a Lite with the ability to steal magical sustains and cause enemy sustains to randomly fail within radius 5.

1) Add Discordant as playable psionic subclass. A psionic tank with death radius around them (think of Mindrot, but less sucky). Wins battle through attrition, melts trash mobs just by standing. Can also spam tele-frags if you feel like it.

2) Add Kudzu as playable wilder subclass. Invasive, annoying, and hard to get rid of. Master of crowd controls and area denials. Cover the world with fungus, lichens, moss, and kudzus.

3) Add Scorpion as playable rogue subclass. Stealthy brawler with poison fist. Pull in your enemy and dethrone them with chain of combos.

4) Add Critic as playable afflicted subclass. High-risk, high-reward, critical-centric class that use feedback pool as life. Overpower your enemy with overwhelming amount of Gestures, or die from receiving too much criticism.

5) Add Colossus as playable race. Artificial giant constructed by dwarves to guard their gold, has some non-living characteristics. Starts on Reknor (dwarf start). A durable race with some drawbacks. Also like gold.

Adds a new class, the Lost, designed by Thornstromb and developed by me.
The Lost is a new Afflicted class based around a hybrid of Archery and Stealth. Skulking in the shadows, the Lost is filled with a piercing hatred for the living.
A nasty glass cannon that relies on tools and inscriptions for survival, but does atrocious amounts of damage while undetected. You have an alternate version of stealth that never breaks, and while you have no inbuilt source of stamina regen, as a Willpower-main class you'll have plenty of stamina for most fights.

Adds the Void Scholar, a twisted Celestial class themed around cosmic expansion and the emptiness of space, featuring a unique starting scenario. Void Scholars are dedicated spellcasters with poor durability, but many ways to negate damage and debilitate foes. Their spells are ineffective against nearby targets, but grow incredibly potent when cast at a distance -- strike from the depths of infinity, where no eyes or blades can reach! They use a unique resource called "Void Energy" that is built up by casting certain spells and quickly disperses when out of combat, requiring careful management to retain momentum.

Introduce Phantom Warrior, a two-handed chronomancy class.
Different from other chronomancers who are adept at traveling along the timeline, Phantom Warriors enhance their craft in manipulating the space of the battlefield. Each strike of their hefty two-handed weapon has a chance of breaking the stability of surrounding aether, creating inferior phantoms of themselves that last only for a short while. In order to thrive in combat, Phantom Warriors need to manage their phantoms wisely along with other resources.

Known problems:
- The size of the save file tends to grow quite large by late game. It appears to be caused by some reference counting issues plus the fact that inventories are cloned. Dead/expired phantoms still show up as party members even though they shouldn't be. Please let me know if anyone has ideas about how to work around this issue.

This class is originally inspired by Phantom Lancer from Dota 2.

A variation on wyrmics, as a multi-elemental debuff-centered class.
Rather than having their abilities scattered among the elements, they'll rank up melee attacks, mental attacks, and elements separately.

The core of Wyrmic is:

This is a simple mod that requires the Embers of Rage DLC, and makes several buffs to the Gunslinger class, here is a list of changes:

Many talents have their steam cost reducded slightly.
Uncanny Reload now gains steam instead of costing any.
Steamgun Mastery grants an extra reload at level 1 instead of 2.
Double Shot's stun duration increased by 1 turn.

Adds several new classes and races:
- Bladebender class: Psionic melee fighter that triple-wields daggers and has "meta" talents that can modify other talents.
- Harbinger class: Wilder melee fighter that channels storms through their attacks. More powerful against groups of foes than against single targets. Their class talents do not use resources.
- The Cooler Anorithil class: Revamp of the Anorithil class that must directly alternate between Solar and Lunar talents instead of managing positive/negative energy.
- Zephyr class: Basically a ranged and exclusively lightning-based version of Arcane Blade. Overpowered, not a serious class, and mostly exists to demonstrate instant projectiles.

- Moon Fox race: Race that can radically transform class and generic talents by attaching tails to them.
- Dreamelf race: Overpowered race that can reposition enemies and shorten talent cooldowns.
- Lich race: Undead race that can convert a portion of all their damage into a damage type of their choice.

This addon also makes a couple other changes to make the Zephyr class work:
- Feather Wind is no longer snapshottable, provides less defense but provides both melee and ranged defense, and its maximum encumbrance is no longer spellpower-dependent.

Other than that, the addon tries not to affect existing classes/races/talents. The new classes won't appear on enemies or Adventurers.

Adds the Harrier class. The Harrier is a member of the rogue metaclass who focuses on throwing knives, although she can punch things in a pinch. This addon Overloads throwing-knives.lua.

Adds the High Guard, a mage subclass. The High Guard is a melee fighter with mid-range spells who can wield any staff in one hand and favors shields in the offhand.
Primary stats are Magic and Strength. All talents are spells and use only mana. Attacks with both staff and shield, with nearly all attacks (save for bumps) dealing the damage type your staff is currently alinged to.

Adds the Mirrorblade, a chronomancer that calls upon his temporal twin. Unlike Temporal Wardens, Mirrorblades train exclusively with melee weapons, and only ever call upon one other timeline for aid. However, this specialized training has resulted in an extremely effective paired combat style.

Adds the Grove Keeper, a Wilder subclass. The Grove Keeper is pirmarily a mindpower-caster with limited summoning ability, but has the option to mix slings, or one-handed weapons and unarmed attacks, into their skill set. They are also able to become proficient with mindstars and focus wholly on mind-casting. Includes advanced class categories favoring either weapon-hybrid or mind-casting play style, with the advanced hybrid tree working equally well for ranged or melee.

This is my own spin on a vampire race. It has some large benefits but also some very strong drawbacks.

Adds gnomes as a new race. They are a distant relative to dwarves and know the location of the Iron Council.

Garden Gnomes have nature skills, but are not necessarily antimagic.
Ensorcelled Gnomes have magic skills.
Tinker Gnomes have tinkers. (only available if you have Embers DLC enabled)
Iron Gnomes have strength and constitution skills. (only available if you have Embers DLC enabled)
Cursed gnomes have hate skills.
Shady gnomes have cunning skills.

All gnomes get:
A second tool slot. (Most tools share a cooldown so it's not amazing to have a second one, but can save your butt by not having to equip a different tool in combat.)
Two generic trees. (If your class also has that tree then you get that tree at +0.3 talent level.)
An extra generic talent point every 10th level.
Special alchemist golems.

Your golem can equip tinkers too!
Your golem can use steamsaws, but you probably want to equip the golem with a steam generator.
Steamsaw Mastery is included in Golem Power for tinker gnomes.
Your golem can use both runes and implants.

Comments
There is not much new here. The goal of gnomes is to add more race variety.

A good amount of the gnomish alchemist golem changes were inspired by the "Golem - The Ironbreaker" addon.

The intent with the golems is to have a fun variant and potentially more useful in the mid and late game, and it fits with the gnome theme of cunning and tools.

I'm aware there is another addon named "Let there be gnomes" which was last updated in 2015, but this addon has nothing to do with it. Having never tried that addon I have no idea if there would be compatibility issues if you loaded them both (if you even could load a race addon that hasn't been updated in 6 years /shrug).

Adds Heartstalker, a psionic class themed around the subconscious, as a birth option. Heartstalkers are a stealth-oriented class that start with twin daggers. Confounding foes's perceptions with their strange psychic power, they weaken their victims from afar, unseen and untouchable, before drawing in close for the kill when they feel the time is right. Take care, however, for though your mind is a potent shield against hostile intent, the physical flesh it guards is exceedingly frail.

Lately the number of sightings of horrors have grown tremendously. People wander off the beaten paths only to be found years later, horribly mutated and partly insane, if they are found at all. It is becoming evident something is stirring deep below Maj'Eyal.
That something is you.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.
• Krog: Ogres transformed by the very thing that should kill them. Their powerful attacks can stun their foes and they are so strong they can dual wield any one handed weapons.

Forbidden Cults adds many new zones for you to explore and die in:

• Kroshkkur: An ancient Sher'tul Fortress laying half in ruins that serves as a focal point, and home, for all kinds of creatures seeking lost knowledge.
• The Maggot: A huge living corrupted worm about to destroy Kroshkkur! Teleport inside and save your sanctuary of horrors!
• The Godfeaster: Deep undergroud the ground shakes as ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --
• The Scourge Pits: On the south of the Iron Throne lays a fool pit of ... -- redacted by corrupt forces --

This addon requires the Forbidden Cults DLC to function.

Celestial Spellcasters who have been overcome with madness and become more and more like unto Luminous Horrors.
Shining Ones begin in Kroshkurr by default.

Shining One talents do not appear on enemies.

Advanced Talents:
Celestial / Incinerator: Burn enemies and the ground beneath them.
Celestial / Seals: Create a patch of ground that grants powerful bonuses as long as you can hold it.
Demented / Core-Gate: Summon more horrors to fill the battlefield with lasers.

Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs:
- Escorts now follow the player when not close to the portal.
- Escorts occasionally say useful things.
- Escorts heal 5% of their maximum health per turn.

Adds two races, one class, a new town, and a new low level dungeon. Completing a quest to explore the new dungeon unlocks purchasable perks in the town. This quest is the starting quest for the added races, but anyone can access an alternate version of the quest with the same rewards. Look toward the coast east of Last Hope to get started.

Available perks (cost varies):
Reveal Exotic Weapons Mastery (must already know Combat Training; Combat Training can also be purchased as per Last Hope shops).

Gain the ability to invest in Heavy Armour Training and equip mail(heavy) armor by meeting the requirement with the highest of Constitution and Dexterity (or Strength, as usual).

Gain bonus attack and movement speeds and a chance to evade incoming damage while wearing mail(heavy) armor. These values scale with Dex and Con, respectively.

Learn (locked or unlocked) a new Psionic/Mindstar combat talent tree. Similar to Wild-Gift/Mindstar mastery, this tree also has a Psiblades sustain. Once learned, you can also pay to boost mastery (as with Mindstar mastery from Zigur).

Psionic/Mindstar combat:

Psiblades:
Increases damage and physical power when attacking with Mindstars. When sustained, increases the damage modifiers and mind stats granted by equipped mindstars (this is an exact copy of the wild-gift/mindstar mastery psiblades talent).

Mind Thorns:
Instantly touch the mind of an adjacent foe, creating mental thorns which reduce mind save and deal mind damage each turn for a few turns.

Mind Storm:
Create a storm of psionic energy which lasts for a few turns. The storm will overheat the mind of foes in the area, causing them to burn (stacking). Allies in the area will be obscured by illusions, reducing the bonus damage of critical hits dealt to them.

Psionic Balance:
Attack an adjacent enemy with your mainhand Psiblade and channel the energy through your offhand to create a psionic damage shield around an ally or yourself. The power of the shield is based on the damage of the attack and can be a mental critical. The shielded target will also regain an amount of Psi based on the damage of the attack.

Races:

The Naloren are elven race with an affinity for water who are adept with mail armor, whips and tridents. They are also known for their bountiful spirit and superb flexibility.
Talents:

Spirit of the Tides:
Gain X charges of Surging Spirit for 5 turns. Charges will be consumed as you activate talents to reduce their cooldown by one turn per charge.

Spirited Combat:
Gain X% armor hardiness in all types of armor and a Y% Constitution damage modifier for all weapons.

Cleansing Water:
When you are afflicted with a detrimental effect you have a X% chance to create a 1-tile pool of Cleansing Water within 2 tiles of yourself. Moving into Cleansing Water will consume it to cleanse the detrimental effect with the highest duration currently afflicting you. This has a cooldown (3).

Whitewater:
Call on the surging tides to aid you, creating radius X pool of rushing water lasting for 6 turns. Moving within Whitewater is instant for you. Foes will have a 50% chance with each movement within Whitewater to flounder, draining 50% of a turn and leaving them Dazed for 1 turn.

Stats:

+ 4 Con, +4 Dex, -1 Cun, -1 Str, -1 Mag, +10 life rating, 10% increased global speed, 15% xp penalty.

The Freeks are a tribe of Yeeks who broke free from The Way. They are still strong psionics, but their minds have been irreparably shattered.
Talents:

Unbound Mind:
Remove up to X silence and confusion effects from yourself and increase your silence and confusion immunities by 100% for a few turns. When activated, all foes in range 8 are afflicted with Shattered Mind for the same duration, giving them a chance each turn to become dazed or confused(35%) for 2 turns.

Partition:
Increases resistance to all damage and decreases the duration of negative effects.

Hasty:
Gain a passive mind speed bonus. If you are afflicted by 4 or more negative effects, the passive speed bonus will temporarily be doubled and any actions (attacks, spells, movement, etc) will use your mind speed if it is faster than the usual speed.

Schism:
Create up to 3 illusions of yourself adjacent to foes within range 10 that will taunt enemies for a few turns.

Stats:
-2 Con, +0 Dex, +3 Cun, +0 Str, +1 Mag, +3 Wil, +9 life rating, -10% xp 'penalty', -15% confusion immunity.

Telekinetic Crush:

 Deal physical damage and stun. Active Aura damage is added to the attack at 3 times the usual power.

Stimulation:
Increase Con based on combined Wil and Cun.

Guiding Star:
Target a foe and disrupt their next talent with a blast of physical damage. At level 3+ adds confuses. At 5+ has a passive chance to block damage over a threshold, blast the source, and disrupt the source talent.

Puncture:
Deal physical damage with added bleeding damage. At level 3+ has a chance to disrupt temporary buffs on the target. Direct damage bypasses ice blocks.

Psionic Striking

Kinetic Blast:

 Deal physical damage and pin. Frozen targets take extra damage and both hits bypass the ice block.

Thermal Blast:
Deal fire damage and cold damage and freeze. If target is pinned, pull in nearby enemies and freeze them to the ground for a few turns.

Charged Blast:
Deal lightning damage and shock (reduce stun/pin resist by half). If target is pinned, boost Charge Shield value. If target is frozen, push nearby enemies away from you.

Psi Weaving:
Increased Fire, Cold and Lightning damage and res pen. Also applies to physical, but at half the value.

Altered Talents
Beyond the Flesh:
TK mindstars now project a blast of damage instead of pulling enemies. Chance, range and damage scale with mindstar tier (damage also scales on Mindpower). Active Aura damage is added to the blast at 2 times the usual power.

Quick as Thought:
Also increases mental crit chance.

Mindhook:
Can also target a wall to pull yourself.

Resonant Focus:
TK mindstars have increased chance to blast and also increase the radius of Voracity talents and the range non-melee mind powers.

Frenzied Focus:
TK mindstars attempt to blast all foes in range and Aura damage is added at 4 times the usual power.

Transcendent Telekinesis:
Resets Kinetic Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Physical while in effect. Kinetic Blast will also strike two random foes adjacent to the target.

Transcendent Electrokinesis:
Resets Charged Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Lightning while in effect. Charged Blast will also chain to 3 nearby enemies.

Static Net:
Static Charge is released with your next Telekinetic Crush or Charged Blast.

Transcendent Pyrokinesis:
Resets Thermal Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Fire or Cold (based on your increased damage) while in effect. Thermal Blast cold/freeze will hit in a radius 1 ball.

This addon requires the Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC to function.

Adds the race of Doomlings, demon-corrupted halflings, wielding destructive corrupted versions of the original halfling talents.

Doomlings begin in the Searing Halls, and thus can get kidnapped by demons at high level.
Doomlings are unlocked along with Doomelves.

Racial Abilities

• Curse of the Little Folk - Lower an enemy's saves, defenses, and damage dealt for 5 turns.
• Unflinching - Taking a lot of damage at once removes movement-impairing effects or briefly makes you immune to them.
• Predatory Mindset - Deal more damage when you can see exactly one enemy.
• Doom Hunt - Focus on an enemy so you can see no one else, also negating its stealth and lowering its effect immunities.

Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass.

The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers.

Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes.

Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy.

Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself.

Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool.

Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility.

Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks.

Black Belt (locked) - Learn advanced fighting techniques to cripple your foes and react with finely honed reflexes.

Transcending(locked) - Directly manipulate your foes' spirits to sap their energy and learn to project your spirit to assail all nearby foes.

A new class, a Celestial summoner who draws on the powers of Shandral's other planets to call up elementals.
Their basic trees summon and support Fire, Ice, and Lightning Elementals, as well as providing utility effects.
Their unlockable advanced trees rain down Meteors and twist Time Elementals into being.
They start with Chants, and a new tree in the vein of chants and hymns. They can unlock Celestial Light.

Their main resource is negative energy, which they generate by summoning and some other spells, and spent by others.

This mod should be compatible with just about everything.

A new tinker class, the Demolisher.

This addon requires the Embers of Rage DLC to function.

Demolishers are designed to be a sort of Steam-Caster, using bombs, drones, and their steam-buggy to destroy their enemies rather than weapons.

New Talents:
Steamtech / Explosive: Plant remote charges with a tiny cooldown and blow them all up at once, lay down minefields, and send suicidal mecharachnid mines towards your foes.
Steamtech / Drones: Send out drones to create storm and smoke, while others hover around for your protection.
Steamtech / Pilot: Your steambuggy is your defense, your offense, and can hold so many explosives.
Steamtech / Engine: Your steambuggy is also the best way to get around. Scorch the ground and flatten your enemies as you zoom around corners.

A combination of all my celestial addons; Firmamancer, Primal Chosen, Trench Strider, Radiant, the Empyreal fork, and the newly added Bloodtide Cultist.

Petty changes to stuff that bugs me.

Revamps the Skirmisher class.

All talents have been re-coded to remove artificial break points in scaling. In most cases, bonuses which were gated by talent level in vanilla will scale in from the first talent point, reaching approximately the same power at the talent level they were previously gated behind.

Many attack talents' damage scaling has been adjusted to bring them more in line with other weapon attack talents. Max damage scaling values remain the same, but talents will scale up to to those values at a rate somewhat closer to other weapon attack talents.

Many attack talents' stamina costs have been reduced to bring them more in line with other weapon attack talents relative to their damage/utility.

Scoundrel is unlocked, master increased to 1.3.
Poisons mastery is increased to 1.3 (from 1.2).
Stealth is granted, locked at 1.0 mastery.

[Buckler Training]
'Buckler Expertise' grants Armor and Hardiness while wearing light armor (values taken from 1.6). The description has also been updated to reflect what it actually does (i.e. it now notes that melee attack deflection does not work in heavy armor).
'Bash and Smash' now scales in the second shield hit as a chance to occur (50-100%). Knockback distance now scales, instead of having an artifical (and hidden) break point.
Moved to level 8 talent.
'Buckler Mastery' no longer has scaling projectile spread radius (projectiles will always be deflected in a radius of 1). Buckler Mastery now grants immunity to damage from your own projectiles. The critical strike for Bash and Smash now scales in as increased crit chance (50-100%) for the shield hit(s).
Moved to level 12 talent.
'Counter Shot' has been replaced with a new level 4 talent:
'Dash and Crash', a talent which will rush toward a targeted foe up to X tiles away, attack with your shield for Y damage, and activate Block for free. If the shield strike hits, the target may be confused for Z turns. Cooldown decreases with level [~20-10 turns].

[Tireless Combatant]
'Tireless Combatant' talents have been changed to use Dexterity (instead of Willpower) as a requirement.
'Breathing Room' now adds stacks of the new 'Breathing Room' effect each turn their are no enemies adjacent to you. The effect increases life and stamina regen and can stack up to 4 times. You will lose one stack per turn if an enemy is adjacent to you.
'Pace Yourself' now grants flat damage armor instead of reduced fatigue.
'Dauntless Challenger' has been reworked. Rather than passively granting regeneration, you can activate the talent to consume all stacks of Breathing Room and gain the Dauntless Challenger effect for X turns. The effect grants 200% of the stamina regen and 400% of the life regen granted by Breathing Room, multiplied by the number of stacks consumed. You cannot gain stacks of Breathing Room while under this effect, but the regeneration from Dauntless Challenger will persist regardless of enemy location, etc.
'The Eternal Warrior' has improved resistance cap scaling, and now scales in the 'Breathing Room' regeneration bonus from 10%-20% (which also improves 'Dauntless Challenger' as a result).

[Skirmisher Slings]
'Sling Supremacy'now allows you to reload when you Block.
'Swift Shot' now resets Hurricane Shot cooldown completely. Additionally, a somewhat obscure but potentially exploitable bug from vanilla has been removed.
'Hurricane Shot' now always hits targets only once, but the damage scaling is doubled. Projectiles from this attack now travel instantly.
'Bombardment' has been completely reworked. It now costs 20 stamina to sustain, causes Shoot to cost 5 stamina, and increases fatigue by 50%. While active, all sling shots which hit will trigger an instant sling attack on the same target for [20-40]% weapon damage. This can trigger from any shot, from any talent, so long as a sling is equipped. This can affect multiple targets and trigger multiple times, but will strike each individual target twice per turn at most.

[Called Shots]
'Called Shots' attack talent projectiles now travel instantly.
'Kneecapper' has improved pin and slow duration scaling.
'Noggin Knocker' now scales up the stun/increase duration, from 1 (at TL 1) to 2 (at ~ TL 5 / TL 4 at 1.3 mastery).
'Sling Sniper' cooldown reduction now scales and it is possible to reach 3 turn reduction with increased mastery.

A new demented class, the Martyr.

This addon requires the Forbidden Cults DLC to function.

Unlike the magical folk of the Hidden Sanctuary, Martyrs' Insanity manifests in mental powers.
Martyrs mix together Sling and Melee combat, needing to use both (correctly timed with their current insanity) to succeed.
With time, they developed much stranger powers.

New Talents:
Demented / Chivalry: A special half-tree, focusing on your melee attacks
Demented / Vagabond: A special half-tree, focusing on the use of a sling
Demented / Whispers: The core tree, adjusting your stats as your insanity waxes and wanes and guiding you around the battlefield

Adds more 1H staves with more variety to the game.

1H staves are so hard to find because in the base game there are only 2 egos that make a staff 1H.
This addon adds more 1H staff egos that are based on some of the existing 2H staff egos, but with some of the bonuses toned down.
Also slightly expands the number of staves available in staff stores to account for the wider variety.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

The Hammer of Urh'Rok, Part I
Spearhead the demonic invasion of Maj'Eyal in this high-speed mini-campaign.

In this timeline, the Scourge from the West died after using the Demonic Orb of Many Ways, giving the demons everything they needed to get through the planetary shield. As a Bringer of Doom in service to the demonic invasion, you will fight your way across a dozen new zones, uncover mysteries, pillage cities, join evil cults, and bring ruin to the land of Maj'Eyal.
The Hammer campaign is shorter than Age of Ascendancy, shorter than Embers of Rage. To provide the whole ToM'E experience in a quicker time-frame, the player levels up much faster, and enemies drop noticeably more treasure. Unlike the Arena, the classic features of multi-level dungeon zones, rare enemies, and so on are still present.

Future updates will bring better art, more variety, and all sorts of content.

Learning a talent in the Augmented Mobility category will now grant Telekinetic Grasp just like it used to.

Makes a number of changes/improvements to the Earth and Stone spell trees to bring their combined utility/power level more in line with their elemental counterpoints, integrating them better with each other and (hopefully!) providing a more sensible, unified package for the three classes that share them.

Changes from basegame:

Body of Stone has been significantly buffed to bring it up to par with its counterparts in the other advanced elemental trees as a spell that expands the earth spell family's functionality into a new playstyle -- that of a stationary "artillery" that trades mobility for field control and durability:
Body of Stone's cooldown reduction now scales up to 50% at max level, and the reduction now rounds to nearest, meaning at max level Pulverising Auger has a cooldown of only 1 turn;
Body of Stone now reduces the cooldown of Stone Spikes, integrating it more into Stone Warden's gameplay;
Body of Stone's fire/lightning/acid resistance has been replaced with physical/fire/lightning flat damage reduction, improving its protective capabilities;
Body of Stone now grants knockback and teleport resistance, making it less likely to be broken by enemies and useful in places such as Dark Crypt or Vor Pride;
Body of Stone now automatically unsustains (with no cooldown) when exiting combat as QoL;
Body of Stone has new visual effects!

Crystalline Focus's save bonus has been replaced with an additional chance for all damaging Earth, Stone, and Eldritch Stone spells to stun targets; combined with Earthen Missiles' and Earthquake's multihit (the latter of which has the bonus added to its native stun chance) and Body of Stone's cooldown reduction, earth mages can now repeatedly stun vulnerable enemies, impairing their damage and talent cooldowns. This also aids their utility for Stone Warden and Arcane Blade, for whom the damage from Earth spells falls off quickly compared to weapon damage.

Mudslide can now be aimed at yourself for a radial attack that pulls enemies in, making the talent more desirable for Stone Warden and Arcane Blade (particularly in conjunction with Body of Stone which would otherwise prevent them from engaging foes in melee).
Additionally, Mudslide now pulls and pushes targets in order of distance, making it behave much better against groups of foes.

Stone Skin's cooldown reduction is now compatible with Stone Spikes, similarly to Crystalline Focus and Body of Stone.

This addon hard-overloads the entire data files for the Earth, Stone, and Eldritch Stone talents, and so will almost certainly be incompatible with addons that make changes to the aforementioned.

Adds a swordsmaster class to the game.

 - Added a new talent tree, Technique/Fencing which has defensive talents related to parrying.
 - The talent Web of Steel has been moved from Swordsmanship to Fencing. It's place in the Swordsmanship tree has been taken by a new talent, Vorpal, which gives Physical Power and Armor Penetration.
 - The talent Crescent Sweep has been reworked. It deals more damage, inflicts bleed, moves before attacking, no longer allows swapping places, and has a cooldown. It's usage as a spammable movement talent for swapping places has been filled by the new Mist Step talent on the Fencing tree.

 - Fixed Swordsmanship to not permanently replace a weapon's strength damage mod with dexterity
 - Harrying blows no longer requires your spring attacks to hit the target; instead it only requires that you attempt them.
 - Harrying blows's finishing blow now bypasses evasion/repulsion talents that the target possesses
 - Harrying blows's finishing blow no longer ignores ALL armor and resistances. It ignores 50% of the target's resistances, and has set bonus armor penetration.
 - Spring Attack now functions immediately when activated instead of only after an action is performed after it is activated.
 - Surgical Strikes's stun and interference effects are now separate (so you get the full stun regardless of what the target does on its next turn). It's cooldown has also been increased from 6 to 8.
 - Added clarifying text to the descriptions of Will to Live and Unfetter to give a better idea of how effective they are when leveled up without requiring arithmetic.
 - Buffed Spring Attack stamina restoration
 - Cunning/Tactical is once again locked by default
 - Added translation support to timed effects

Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down.

Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations, or even outright compulsions.

Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move.

Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain.

Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition.

Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools.

In the realm of Titania, the Midsummer Queen, there live the Faeries, mystical beings as graceful as they are fickle. Drama and mayhem spring forth wherever they walk, and those whose lives they touch are forever changed, their fates intertwined with that of the mysterious Faesong. Additionally includes a new starting scenario with original art, music, and dialogue, 7 new artifacts, 6 new enemy mobs, and an unlockable Fae-Drake category for Wyrmic. The realm of the Fae is ever-changing, and new paths may yet open in the future!

Adds the Earth Mage as a mage class that combines earth magics with wild gifts.
Earth Mages have learned the basics of how to create and use alchemist gems, but developed their own specialized uses as well.

Mana and equilibrium are their resources and their most important stat is Magic followed by Willpower and Constitution.
They use some existing talent trees from Archmage and Stone Warden, and have a new class tree: Spell / Lapidary.
Their playstyle is multitarget, area of effect, and damage over time, with a lot of options for survivability.

This is an overhaul of the class because it didn't feel as good to play and balanced as I wanted it to.
- Increased max hate a little. It's still a small pool, but doesn't feel as punishing.
- Increased the level and stat requirements across the board for the Diabolical and Demon Summons trees. Now new demons and levels in Improved Summoming feel special.
- Took out both shadows trees and Black Magic. Added Darkness, Vim, and Doom Covenant (locked) trees. Locked Fearfire. Took out Torment so that you have to wait to use higher vim cost skill until you have more vim in your pool, or use your life with Bloodcasting.
- Made demon summons immune to fear and tweaked their life, armor, and defense to give them a bit more survivability.
- Changed demon summons to start off tiny and grow as you level which is fun with Nekarcos's Visible Size Categories. Without Nekarcos's addon the dúathedlen and uruivellas will be graphically very large even if their size=tiny.
- Changed the Imp's Improved Summoning skills.
- Toned down Improved Summoning so that demons only get one skill with the 1st point, improve that skill with the 2nd, get a second skill and improve the first skill with the 3rd point, improve them both with the 4th point, and get a third skill and improve the previous two skills with the 5th point.
- Changed the wretch to an uruivellas (minotaur-like demon) and gave it a 2Her to help differentiate it from the dúathedlen (shadow demon).
- Fixed the dúathedlen image.

Adds Hiveminders, an insect-themed wilder class, as a birth option. Hiveminders are a melee class specialising in dual-wielded daggers or psiblades. They command their vast hivemind to lend them potent support and utility powers which make up for their lacking offense.

Hiveminder talent trees include:

Hivemind: Resonate your mind with your insects to enhance your perception and enthrall enemies!
Swarm: Command a swarm of stinging insects to protect you from harm or torment your foes!
Floral Kinship: Draw upon the bond between insects and plants to become closer to Nature!
Silk: Spin sturdy threads of silk to bind foes, mend your wounds, and more!
Insect Morph: Borrow the strength of the insect world to enhance your own strength!
Metamorphosis (locked): Renew, heal, and vitalise yourself with the power of insect life cycles!
Parasitism (locked): Embrace the dark side of insect symbiosis to devastate your foes, at a price!
Insect Guardian (locked): Befriend a duo of loyal scarab beetles as lifelong companions!

Hiveminders also have access to the Combat Training, Lethality, Call of the Wild, and Mindstar Mastery generic trees by default, and can additionally unlock the Fungus and Mobility trees through levelling up.

Power is a subtle thing, adventurer. The smallest of factors can make the greatest of differences.

Adds High Wights as a playable race: tough, psionic undead who arise naturally yet stand outside the natural order.

Also adds Forest Wights as a playable race: undead with a connection to fire, light, and nature.

Adds a new class evolution for Brawler, the Steel Monk.

As a Steel Monk, the Brawler can wield a weapon in their hands while still making unarmed attacks.

While wielding a weapon, they can gain Greatest Weapon Focus, causing them to follow up their unarmed attacks with weapon attacks and parrying the attacks of their enemies.

Taking this prodigy will refund any points in Weapon Mastery, then grant you Weapon Mastery based on your Unarmed Mastery.

Adds the Frost Invoker, a mage subclass.

The Frost Invoker is a Cold-focused caster and unarmed fighter. Their primary stats are Magic and Dexterity.
Frost Invokers know Combat Training and Survival(locked) and have 11 new spell trees, 3 generic and 8 class (of which 3 start locked).

Generic:

Frozen Core: Unarmed training with 40/80 Mag/Dex dam mods, and utility.
Rime Guard: Defense, with a damage shield and one-shot protection.
Ice Floes: Mobility and utility focused on an icy ground effect.

Class:

Hail: Offensive spells which can reduce the cd of Artic talents.
Arctic: Unarmed attacks with AoE, a pin, a multi-hit, and a gap closer.
Winter: Utility and defense, with a decoy and a scout.
Frost: Defense and utility focused on building and consuming a stacking effect.
Chill: Debuffs which proc on cold damage, with active conditional sustain stripping.

Locked:

Blizzard: Defense and debuffs focused on a single AoE spell.
