This addon shows inventory items in dark grey if they have a power source incompatible with your character.

Arcane items are greyed out for antimagic characters, and arcane disrupting items are greyed out for characters with arcane abilities. Never accidentally break your spells again!

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This QoL provides some "automation" to various tedious gameflows in ToME.

• Auto-Keeping

Provides the player various settings that control which objects will automatically be excluded from transmogrification.
This is particularly designed for keeping various "lightweight" objects (such as Inscriptions, Rings, and/or Necklaces).

• Auto-Waiting:

Adds two bindable keys to [Key Bindings] that lets you wait for either 100 or X many turns.
(No more using the Rod of Recall!)

• Auto-Battle:

Adds a bindable key to [Key Bindings] that causes your currently-controlled character to perform a single, AI-controlled action during combat.
Additionally, this also adds a map menu option to adjust your currently-controlled character's talent priorities for the sake of optimizing said behavior.

• Auto-Hotkeying (Work In Progress)

When replacing a usable object with another usable object, all of the old object's talent hotkeys will be replaced with the new object's hotkey as well.

Background: There are just some things a player shouldn't have to do themself. It's a nuisance more than anything! Why waste the brain power? Let's have the game deal with it instead!

Fixes an apparent bug in game releases 1.6.0 thru 1.7.6, restoring the ability of Alchemist golems (and other NPCs) to displace and push past non-hostile NPCs.

Automatically collects notes about unvisited zones and unactivated features/events that the player has seen and may wish to return to later, updated as the player revisits said points of interest. Notes will reflect:

• Unopened golden chests, graves and weird pedestals; giant digestive sacks and strange tentacle "trees" from the Forbidden Cults DLC; demon statues from the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC; strange conduits from the Embers of Rage DLC.
• Unopened vaults, including "hidden vault" sub-zones.
• Various quest-related events like Tempest Peak and the Sher'tul farportal.
• Sub-zones like damp caves, intimidating caves, and the temporal rift in Daikara.
• Glyph sequences from the Forbidden Cults DLC, as found on various levels.
• Various non-main-plot zones on the world map, like Ruined Dungeon or Mark of the Spellblaze (configurable), if you have not visited them or killed their associated guardian.

Notes for a level are updated when the player enters or leaves the level, and when bringing up the auto-collected notes list manually via <Alt-Shift-A> (configurable via the "Key bindings" dialog). The auto-collected notes list will also optionally pop up when you load a character, configurable via the game option "UI | Automatic notes".

Adds the Damblis, a race of humans developed during the Age of Allure, though not as well known as the Higher. During the heights of human and halfing power, many nobles sought entertainments of all variety: comical, martial... sensual. One particualr noble house began to curate beauty and charisma among their subjects, using any means they could, leading to the creation of the Damblis humans. While the details of the process that led to their refinement are unknown, the results were unquestionable: a breed of humans possessing unmatched beauty and charm, able to beguile any who so much as looked upon them. Some say their allure goes beyond mere physical beauty and swear they entrance others by caressing their inner thoughts with mental powers beyond understanding.

1. Dressed to Kill: Once per turn when an enemy sees you they must save against your mindpower or suffer mind damage. The damage can not be reduced by mental save and can be a mental critical hit. Your mindpower for this check is boosted based on your equipped rings, necklace, and belt. Enemies of rank Normal and lower will simply die instead of taking damage.

2. Stunning Looks: Enemies within a cone with a radius equal to your vision range must make a physical save against your mindpower or become stunned for several turns.

3. Irresistible: Enemies who can see you but are not adjacent to you suffer from a stacking affliction which reduces their saves, defense, and resistance to all damage.

4. Take it Off: All enemies who can see you when you sustain this talent will suffer from talent failure chance so long as they can still see you and you continue to sustain the talent. Requires a belt.

Modifies the Font of Sacrifice from the Forbidden Cults DLC (required), giving it the extra ability to modify wild infusions in the player's inventory. Wild infusions that remove a single type of effect can be changed to another type for 500 gold, or have a second type added for 1000 gold; wild infusions that remove two types of effects can have one of them changed for 500 gold.

Adds Heartstalker, a psionic class themed around the subconscious, as a birth option. Heartstalkers are a stealth-oriented class that start with twin daggers. Confounding foes's perceptions with their strange psychic power, they weaken their victims from afar, unseen and untouchable, before drawing in close for the kill when they feel the time is right. Take care, however, for though your mind is a potent shield against hostile intent, the physical flesh it guards is exceedingly frail.

Adds an Artificer class to the game.
Artificer is a versatile class that specialize in items.
They are able to craft items and use them in ways that other classes cannot.

Beware: Although powerful later on, artificers have a weak early game, and require a good deal of item management to succeed. This class may not be for everyone.

Requires Embers of Rage DLC

Adds game options "Gameplay | Auto-rotate auras" and "Gameplay | Auto-rotate shields", which will make an effort to ensure that you have the game maximum of two aura or shield talents from the Psionic/Projection resp. Psionic/Absorption trees active at once. In particular, any time you deactivate/spike one of these talents, or one comes off cooldown, the game will attempt to activate other available related talents, in the order you specify.

Adds two class evolutions for Archer, the Quickshot and the Munitions Expert.

As a Quickshot, the Archer gains the ability to equip a second quiver/pouch in the tool slot and has a 50% chance on archery hit to trigger a shot using ammo from your tool slot.

As a Munitions Expert, the Archer gains the Munitions talent tree unlocked at 1.3 mastery. Provides three munitions sustains to enhance your shots with fire, poison, or piercing capabilities.

Modifies Beyond the Flesh and related talents so that telekinetically wielded mindstars are treated as weapons, attacking adjacent foes rather then pulling them in from afar.

(One minor exception: the Kinetic Aura, Thermal Aura and Charged Aura talents still follow their original behaviour with mindstars, doing damage to adjacent enemies once per turn rather than extra damage per weapon hit; modifying this behavior was deemed too difficult. This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack adds damage logs about loss in healing (for example, if you're healed 200, but have -40% healing, it will display "80 anti-healing").
It also has an option to change how negative healing factor operates so that it is multiplicative instead of additive (a behavior which makes healing reduction generally more useful to you and enemies alike).
Background: The effects of reduced healing are quite invisible, and this always bugged me! This makes it more noticable so that when things like Draconic Body are affected, you can understand just how much damage it actually caused!

Adds the White Monk, a warrior subclass.

The White Monk wields no arms, instead using intense focus and training to turn their body into a weapon. They fend off enemy blows with their immense willpower and can preform healing and regenerative rites. Primary stats are Dexterity and Willpower. White Monks have the unique ability to project unarmed melee attacks at a distance, with talents that allow them to strike many targets in a area, as well. White Monks have a base damage modifier for hand gear of 60% Dex and 60% Wil, and gain some of the same benefits to unarmed attacks as Brawlers.

Includes seven new talent trees and incorporates a few existing trees from Warrior and Rogue classes.

Rending - Attack your foes from afar and sap their energy.

Mending - Heal and cleanse yourself and even prepare a rite that can ward off death itself.

Fending (generic) - Ward off enemy assaults, directing some damage to your stamina pool.

Agile Combatant - Move across the battlefield with unmatched agility.

Martial Arts - Master the art of unarmed fighting and gain bonus strikes from your attacks.

If you capture a soul via Soul Leech (or other method) while you are at maximum soul capacity and your Hiemal Shield is depleted, allows you to store the soul in a temporary Hiemal Buffer to be used to pay the soul cost the next time your Hiemal Shield regenerates (normal mana costs still apply).

Adds Tinkerer as a new Human subrace. Tinkerers are identical to Cornacs, except they begin with Steamtech/Physics and Steamtech/Chemistry instead of an additional category point.
More precisely, this race is a Cornac with no starting category point, that has been birthed with the tinker escort category point reward that is granted by the Ancient Automated Teacher, without the 500 gold cost.

I made this race because I wanted a consistent way to obtain tinkers with any non-tinker class, without relying on the tinker escort. The Tinkerer is intended to be a balanced and viable alternative to the Cornac race within the official "Maj'Eyal: The Age of Ascendancy" campaign. When used with a tinker class, this race only grants an additional starting talent point to both Physics/Smith and to Chemistry/Therapeutics.

Feel free to extend/modify this addon as you wish! My further ideas for this race or a similar one would be to add the Engineering and Blacksmith categories as racial talent trees, but adjust their mastery and unlock status based on whether the character is a tinker class or not.

Adds the Vor'tep as a new Giant sub-race, a breed of altered trolls. Get it right here or on the Steam Workshop.

Vor'tep have a life rating of 13 and an experience penalty of 15% and start with +3STR, +3WIL, +3CON,+3MAG, -2DEX, and -2CUN.

Vor'tep posses the strength and will to wield any one-handed weapon in their offhand innately.

Vor'tep have the following racial talents:

Trollkin Fortitude
For 5 turns, each magical, physical, or mental detrimental effect applied to you by an enemy will have the duration preemptively reduced by X turns or 50% (rounded up), whichever is greater. If this reduces the duration to 0 or less the effect is completely negated. The power of the effect improves with Constitution.

Trollblood
Passively increases life regen by X and healing modifier by Y%.
Scales only on talent level.

Blood Rush
Sustaining this talent will cause talents to cooldown by one turn at the begining of each turn. This will occur regardless of stuns or other effects that would normally reduce or prevent cooldowns. This will not effect talents with a fixed cooldown.
CAUTION:
This will cause you to take X% of your maximum life as irresistible damage on the first turn, increasing each subsequent turn. Each turn the damage dealt will be 15% greater than the turn before. If your life is below 20% of your maximum at the start of a turn, the sustain will automatically deactivate.
The damage of the effect is reduced by Willpower.

Internal Inscription
You are able to internalize a rune or infusion of your choice. Once chosen, the inscription will be triggered instantly when you are below 15% of your maximum life. This has a cooldown and is the only way to activate the inscription.
Cooldown decreases significantly with talent level and is based only on this talent (the original cooldown of the inscription is completely disregarded).

Throw caution (and your equipment) to the wind, and become a truly formidable menace on the battlefield.

You can equip mainhand weapons in your tool and lite slot. You can equip offhand weapons in your head, cloak, belt and feet slots.

When you land an attack with the weapon in your mainhand slot, you will follow up with an attack from weapons in your tool and lite slots dealing 100% damage.

When you land an attack with the weapon in your offhand slot, you will follow up with an attack from weapons in your head, cloak, belt and feet slots dealing 100% damage (offhand damage penalty applies).

Adds the ability to temporarily seal a naga invasion portal or Fearscape invasion portal, preventing further spawns from the portal but allowing you to unseal and enter it later.

Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for campaigns and difficulty levels, allowing characters to play campaigns and difficulty levels that you haven't unlocked. Doesn't actually unlock anything.

Adds an option to the Sher'Tul fortress butler to spend some fortress energy enhancing your golem to match your movement speed.

Adds new talent Interact with the Worm, allowing Writhing Ones from the Forbidden Cults DLC using the Demented/Friend of the Worm talent tree to manipulate their worm that walks' equipment and talents (and name) in a more convenient manner similar to Alchemists' Interact with the Golem talent.

Adds a new evolution for Shadowblades, the Umbral Incantor.

As an Umbral Incantor, the Shadowblade will regenerate 1 mana per turn and gain several bonuses to their talents if they are equipped with a staff:

- Shadow Combat: the damage will also be triggered when you cast Channel Staff, and when triggered this way can be a spell critical
- Shadowstep: teleport back to starting location after the attack
- lluminate: will use Shadow Dance without cost or triggering cooldown
- Invisibility: will be cast instantly without cost when Stealth is deactivated (still triggers cooldown)
- Shadow Grasp: will pin for 3 turns instead of pulling
- Shadow Veil: rather than blink and attack, you will cast Shadow Grasp on targets selected (without cost and ignoring cooldown and failure chances)
- Lethality: staffs gain a Dexterity damage modifier equal to twice the crit bonus
- Expose Weakness: (if not on cooldown) will be used instantly when casting Shadowstep (before the return teleport), using stamina as usual and going on cooldown for twice the usual duration
- Blade Flurry: (while sustained) also gain spell cooldown reduction equal to the attack speed bonus and an equal chance on spell hit to cast Channel Staff
- Snap: also affect an equal number of spells ("spell/" category talents)

Adds Stalker as a new class evolution prodigy for Rogue.

While wearing no heavy armor (including helms, boots and gloves) and wielding no weapons:
- The Stalker's actions will never break Stealth.
- Effects normally triggered by exiting Stealth will trigger when landing an unarmed critical strike against an adjacent foe (cooldown 8 ).
- Lethality and Dagger Mastery will apply their effects to gloves.
- The Stalker is considered to be wielding Dual Weapons, using unarmed combat stats for both main hand and offhand (damage penalty applies).

A new class, a Celestial summoner who draws on the powers of Shandral's other planets to call up elementals.
Their basic trees summon and support Fire, Ice, and Lightning Elementals, as well as providing utility effects.
Their unlockable advanced trees rain down Meteors and twist Time Elementals into being.
They start with Chants, and a new tree in the vein of chants and hymns. They can unlock Celestial Light.

Their main resource is negative energy, which they generate by summoning and some other spells, and spent by others.

This mod should be compatible with just about everything.

Forbidden Cults is a big expansion for Tales of Maj'Eyal to let you explore the horrors that lurk beneath the surface, to delve in long lost knowledge and lore and as usual to die a lot!

Forbidden Cults makes two new classes available to play:

• Writhing One: Give in to the corrupting forces and turn yourself gradually into an horror, summon horrors to do your bidding, shed your skin and melt your face to assault your foes. With your arm already turned into a tentacle, what creature can stop you?
• Cultist of Entropy: Using its insanity and control of entropic forces to unravel the normal laws of physic this caster class can turn healing into attacks and call upon the forces of the void to reduce its foes to dust.

Both those classes use a new resource called Insanity that gradually makes you both more chaotic and powerful as it fills up.

Forbidden Cults makes two new races available to play:

• Drem: A corrupt subrace of dwarves, that somehow managed to keep a shred of sanity to not fully devolve into mindless horrors. They can enter a frenzy and even learn to summon horrors.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.

Adds a new class evolution for Berserker, the Barbarian.

As a Barbarian, the Berserker loses the ability to equip body armor, but gains the ability to wield a two-handed weapon in their off-hand. Additionally, they will unlock Technique/Duelist and Technique/Dual Weapons at 1.0 mastery. Finally, each turn the Barbian attacks a foe, they will automatically eneter a blocking stance to deflect damage with their weapons, potentially setting up deadly counter-strikes.

Adds Hiveminders, an insect-themed wilder class, as a birth option. Hiveminders are a melee class specialising in dual-wielded daggers or psiblades. They command their vast hivemind to lend them potent support and utility powers which make up for their lacking offense.

Your sling hits bypass allies and, if you have alchemist gems in your off-set quiver, each hit has a chance to instantly swap weapon sets and cast Throw Bomb before swapping back.
You gain 40% cold resistance and iceblock piercing and when you apply Ice Armour to your golem it will also gain a damage shield and cast Taunt.
Reqs: 50 Cun, 25 Mag, defeat 5 golems.

Battle Skirmisher:
Embrace the warrior within to become a true menace in battle, no longer limiting yourself to slings, but also striking with your shield, fists, and even your head.
Learn Combat Techniques, Shield Offense, Conditioning and Thuggery at 1.3 mastery.
Weapons Mastery will affect Shields and Unarmed combat, and while you have a sling equipped you will use your Unarmed combat stats as your Mainhand weapon.
Your shield hits will have a 40% chance to trigger a sling attack for 50% damage.
After moving with Rush, you will automatically attack all adjacent foes with Skullcracker. Using Bash and Smash will reset the cooldown of Rush.
Reqs: 50 Dex, 25 Str, defeat 20 foes in melee range.

Sunslinger:
Bathe in the glow of the sun to enhance your sling mastery with celestial power.
Learn Sun, Radiance, Light and Chants at 1.3 mastery.
All sling hits will deal added light damage, and, if you have a temporary damage shield active, increase its power(up to once per turn).
Additionally, sling hits against foes outside the reach of your Radiance will pull them 2 tiles toward you. If they are pulled into your Radiance, they are pinned for 3 turns.
Finally, if you are affected by Sun's Vengance and Sun Ray is not on cooldown, your sling hits will cast Sun Ray on the target (triggering cooldown as usual).
Reqs:50 Cun, 25 Mag, defeat at least 50 foes on lit tiles

Dreamslinger:
Master your mind and the dream forge to enhance your sling mastery with flying hammers and psionic force.
Learn Dream Smith, Discharge, Dream Forge and Feedback at 1.3 mastery. Investing 8 points in Feedback grants 40 mindpower; 12 points in Discharge grants 60.
Sling hits will trigger Dream Smith talents if they are not on cooldown, prioritizing the highest tier, up to once per turn. Talents triggered this way will strike up to range 10 and trigger cooldown and cost as usual.
All of your fire damage is converted to mind damage, you gain 40% mind resistance penetration, and your sling hits generate 8 Feedback.
Reqs:50 Cun, 25 Wil, defeat a foe while you are sleeping.

Note: Age of Ascendancy specific requirements are waived in other campaigns.

Attempts to fix temporary effects that have become "stuck" and do not expire when their duration falls to zero or below.

Description

This addon adds the Sapper as a playable class. As it is a Tinker, it will require Embers of Rage DLC to work.

Sappers use their knowledge of steam weaponry to build construct that will fight your foes and destroy the walls of their lair.
They have an automated onarger, serving as a permanent ally. They can manipulate the terrain by digging tunnels and creating impassable pits.
But they are also trained for short range combat and will not hesitate to stick their pickaxe in their enemies' skulls.

They have 9 class trees, including 4 locked ones :
- Battle Machinery
- Siege Engine (new tree) : build 3 different temporary construct that will attack your foes and protect you
- Onager (new tree) : build a permanent construct that will follow you, hurt and disable your foes, and help you reposition
- Tool Combat (new tree) : join the fray, using your knowledge of tools to deconstruct your foes' equipment as you fight, or hit your construct to temporarily improve them instead.
- Death Tools (new tree) : use the carnage of the battlefield to your own advantage

- Trapping (locked)
- Automation (locked)
- Sapper (locked, new tree) : control the field to improve your odds of survival

Descriptions

Add Discordant as playable psionic subclass. A psionic tank with death radius around them (think of Mindrot, but less sucky). Wins battle through attrition, melts trash mobs just by standing. Can also spam tele-frags if you feel like it.

Add Kudzu as playable wilder subclass. Invasive, annoying, and hard to get rid of. Master of crowd controls and area denials. Cover the world with fungus, lichens, moss, and kudzus.

Add Scorpion as playable rogue subclass. Stealthy brawler with poison fist. Pull in your enemy and dethrone them with chain of combos.

Add Critic as playable afflicted subclass. High-risk, high-reward, critical-centric class that use feedback pool as life. Overpower your enemy with overwhelming amount of Gestures, or die from receiving too much criticism.

An experimental attempt to improve targeting for certain talents that impose conditions on allowed targets, by arranging that targeting will only select targets with the necessary condition. Supported so far:

• Rockwalk and Rockswallow will only target hostiles pinned by Stone Vine.
• Headshot will only target marked hostiles (unless you have Concealment active).
• Upgrade from the Embers of Rage DLC will only target turrets summoned by the caster.
• Shadow Transposition will only target shadows summoned by the caster.

Increase the range of artifact steamguns to at least the range of an ordinary steamgun of the same tier.

My personal twist on and combination of "TLR's Stat changes" by thelastraven, "Moderately Generous Levels" by Chaotic Heretic, and "Constitution Viability Buff" by Raenarill.

This is my first ToME mod, so bear with me, I'm still working on balance and stuff, just give me constructive criticism please!

Leveling changes:
Sets max level to 100, though you still get the bonus points at 50. Birth stats remain unchanged.

+ 0.2% resist all per level after 50, so 10% should you reach level 100.

Level 2 is a "double" level, granting double the normal points (6 stat, 2 class/generic points)
Extra stat point every even level, starting at level 4.
Extra class point ever odd level, starting at level 3.
Gets rid of the extra class point and removal of a generic point at level intervals of 5.
One category point at levels 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 50, 75, and 100. Removed point at 34.

This is my take on TLR's (thelastraven) stat changes mod.

Mainly I just wanted my own exact preferences registered on te4 to be honest.

I liked the overall concept, but felt some of the changes were too powerful even for some nightmare runs on mid classes.

This mod takes the basic shell of TLR's stat changes, then strips out some extra global bonuses to resists and nerfs some constition changes I felt went too far

This mod goes over particularly well with other overpowered fun addons, like the multi-class challenge.

There are also maybe some unlisted changes to what willpower does, looks like giving bonuses to mana/stamina/psi? I'm scared to touch that section so far.

The game will be a complete cakewalk at lower difficulties, be aware.

I just tweaked some values, all credit goes to TLR, Chaotic Heretic, and Raenarill.

Fixes a bug in the Strafe talent from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) which was causing the move step after shooting to be processed incorrectly.

Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack.

If you are wielding a two-handed weapon in mainhand and another weapon in offhand (via Ogres' Grisly Constitution talent or various addons), arranges for your melee weapon damage to be recorded as both two-handed weapon damage and dual-wielded weapon damage for purposes of satisfying prodigy requirements (notably Windblade).

Modifies various player sidekicks (Alchemists' golem, Writhing Ones' worm that walks from the Forbidden Cults DLC, Annihilators' mecharachnid from the Embers of Rage DLC) to synchronize their level with the player's level every time they are re-added to map, in case the player gained a level while the sidekick dead.

(Disclaimer: The failure of sidekicks to do this in the base game is believed to be a bug; if said bug is fixed in a future version, this addon will be officially deprecated.)

Binds the Zone:create hook. This addon is safe to enable and disable on existing save files, though doing so will not have any effects for characters who have visited the sandworm lair already.

Assorted quality-of-life tweaks for Temporal Wardens. If you know at least one talent in the Chronomancy/Blade Threading or Chronomancy/Bow Threading trees, then:

• Vital Shot and Windblade will auto-swap to the appropriate weapon set.
• Windblade will not harm your temporal hounds.

Forbidden Cults tweak that adds lore drops containing the random artifact codes that exist for the Occult Egress. This doesn't give you any more artifacts than you would normally get, but makes them easier to find.

This is a fork of a fork of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks, forked by Dracos and then again by mannendake. This version fixes opening doors taking a turn and returns the fixedart icons to their respective lore entries.

This is a fork (with permission) of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks. It includes as well C.Lowe/CaptainTrip's improvements as well. It does not include, but recommends also using Johnny0's Faster RRE add-on for even better rest and auto-explore experience. This add-on contains numerous Quality of Life improvements designed to make resting and auto-exploring easier to use, brings the add-on overall up to being compatible with 1.7.x, and generally seeks to remove it being more optimal to do timed rests or manual recovery (particularly to help higher difficulty level and players without Faster RRE). Cleaned up feature list in this take, to make it easier to see what it does.

It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them.

This mod provides several options to control it. These may be found by opening the Game Menu->Game Options->Gameplay menu. Feel free to customize to preference with the defaults meant to be free of questionable behavior.

Latest Update Notes:
• Double checked compatibility with 1.7.2 and added to mod notes how to get to the menu.

• When resting, it will check for infusions and runes that could be used to accelerate HP, Mana, or Equilibrium (via Ancestral Life or Meditation) recovery. If the acceleration appears significant, it will use them, rotating from first available infusion or rune outward. In experiment, I found this often reduced rest turn time by 50-80 percent, improving the more drained the resource was. Particularly helpful for Mana, as it avoids trade-off advantages of short term resting (for increased mana regen) + rune use by just handling that more optimal play for you automatically without breaking rest.
• Support for steam implants, with usual checkboxes. This may not always be faster based on steam sustains that may disable after the initial round of rest and steam implants having very long cooldowns (30+ turns) and steam's resource max being pretty small. It tries to be conservative on that, so will most likely help for cases where your functional steam regen rate is < 2.00 and never activate for things much above it. I found I was often getting 5-20 steam per turn, which makes the implant support useless.
• Supports for medical healing salve injectors. Cooldown measurements are a bit odd here, since they can range from 5-20 depending on injector. Went with 10 as a happy medium for how many turns of natural regen is considered to be equal to the cooldown cost of using it.
• Adding support to auto-stealth if available and not stealthed.
• Option for ignoring small damage when moving and resting, basically if it is <5%, it will ignore it by default, prevent small DoTs from preventing rest.
• Options added to control whether or not to use inscriptions to accelerate recovery of things.
• Fixes a ToME bug that can cause autoexplore or running to move only a single square and hang if used immediately after killing an enemy.
• Lore discovery will only stop autoexplore if it triggers a popup.
• Autoexplore will ignore Exploratory/Infinite Farportal return portals until the entire level has been explored.
• Ignores special terrain features such as Font of Healing after they are first discovered.
• Ignores open chests and alt Maze floor cracks.
• Rest and AE ask for confirmation if you have an escort in your party.
• Ignore already activated pedestals.
• Checks for and waits on any rechargeable items.
• Checks for and reloads any ammo in offhand quiver.
• Waits for cooldowns of talents set to auto-use.
• Waits for depleted air to replenish.
• Combines all checks into a single instance of rest, rather than having cooldowns etc. require a second resting phase.

Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'.

Available modes:
• 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy.
• 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring.

A new tinker class, the Demolisher.

This addon requires the Embers of Rage DLC to function.

Demolishers are designed to be a sort of Steam-Caster, using bombs, drones, and their steam-buggy to destroy their enemies rather than weapons.

New Talents
Spell / Bloodtide: Cast your spells at the right time for extra effects, and always take one turn per turn.
Spell / Oceansong: Add destructive and distracting music to your talents.
Spell / Intrusion: Conjure your alien anatomy into the real world to destroy your enemies with claw, eyeball, and tentacle.
Spell / Polyps: Summon carnivorous coral into enemies, then sacrifice it to protect yourself.
Spell / Chronorium: Teleport back and forth, and deal with today's damage tomorrow.

Advanced Talents
Spell / Marching Sea: Locked but available at level 0, channel the myths of the other place to disable your enemies and rain down blood.
Spell / Null Vizier: Control the light to hide, attack, and defend.
Spell / Moon Wurm: You've finally realized, you aren't just you, you're someone else too. The Moon Wurm provides random support and a powerful summon.

Other Page: Use your many many limbs to achieve mastery of magic and items.

Changes the appearance of the entrance to the Shadow Crypt in the far east to be different from the entrances to the Orc Prides, to avoid entering the wrong zone by mistake.

Allows you to move to a more forgiving permadeath setting when you die.

If you are in Roguelike, you can switch to Adventure and carry on from the Eidolon plane.
If you are a donator, you can switch to Exploration when you die and carry on from the Eidolon plane.
Previous achievements are kept. Future achievements will be based on your new permadeath rating.

When you switch to Adventure, you have the same amount of bonus lives you would have had if you had been playing Adventure the whole time (minus the one you just lost).

New in 1.2.0 - If you are a donator, you can give yourself more adventure mode lives. You will only earn Exploration achievements from then on, but enemies will recover when you die, letting you retry fights as many times as you want.

This Superloads DeathDialog.lua in a non-destructive way and should not have many conflicts.

Adds the Fallen Meditant class. The Fallen was once a monk; training in a natural combat style upon a mountain. They have been cast down.

Adds new talent Interact with the Mech, allowing Annihilators from the Embers of Rage DLC using the Steamtech/Mecharachnid talent tree to manipulate their mecharachnid's equipment and talents (and name) in a more convenient manner similar to Alchemists' Interact with the Golem talent.

Adds the Orcnac Subrace, the Orc equivilent of a Cornac.

Adds the High Guard, a mage subclass. The High Guard is a melee fighter with mid-range spells who can wield any staff in one hand and favors shields in the offhand.
Primary stats are Magic and Strength. All talents are spells and use only mana. Attacks with both staff and shield, with nearly all attacks (save for bumps) dealing the damage type your staff is currently alinged to.

Description:

Enables faster run/resting by use of FPS dividers.

These dividers simply divide the game's requested FPS by their respective values while resting or running. After starting a new game or loading a saved character, configure this addon by hitting escape -> video options. Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers.

Just be careful when resting on an escort mission...

For Drem and Demented characters from the Forbidden Cults DLC who start with The Worm That Devours quest but go to complete another starter zone to level up before entering the worm; when you complete the quest and receive your racial starter quest, the completed zones will be applied retroactively, if applicable. (For instance, if you complete Trollmire and then return and kill the worm, and if your next quest is "Of trolls and damp caves", it will reflect that Prox has already been killed.)

A stealthy Cursed class that uses unarmed attacks. Inspired by HousePet's Werebeast from the Verdant Class Pack.

Cursed / Primal (WIL)
Takedown - Perform a short dash to a target, striking it in melee and pinning it if used from Stealth. Costs Equilibrium, damage based on talent level. Claws of the Beast must be active.
Rip and Tear - Deals melee weapon damage, Bleeds, and increases Hate. Disarms if used from Stealth. Costs Equilibrium, damage based on talent level. Claws of the Beast must be active.
Mournful Howl - Deals Darkness and Mind damage in a small radius and increase Hate. Causes a random gloom effect if used from Stealth. Costs Equilibrium, damage based on talent level and Mindpower. Claws of the Beast must be active.
Throatseeker - Deals high melee weapon damage and increases Hate. Silences if used from Stealth. Costs Equilibrium, damage based on talent level. Claws of the Beast must be active.

Cursed / Prowl (WIL)
Prowl - It's Stealth.
Pounce - It's Shadowstrike.
Nocturnal - It's the stealth regen thing but instead of Life and Stamina, it's Life and Equilibrium.
Into the Woods - Re-enter stealth no matter if enemies are near you or not. No cost, but high cooldown and breaks like regular stealth.

Cursed / Gore (WIL, Locked)
Bloodlet - Critical weapon attacks also apply Bleed. Bleed increases based on talent level.
Dig In - Deals melee weapon damage and intensifies Bleed effects on the enemy. Costs Hate and Equilibrium, damage based on talent level. Claws of the Beast must be active.
Frenzied Swipe - Lash out and swipe madly at everything around you, dealing damage and applying Bleed. Claws of the Beast must be active.
Shadow of the Pack - Sustain that causes triggers a weak melee attack against all Bleeding enemies in a short radius. Costs Equilibrium to sustain, and Hate once per turn that it triggers.

Claws of the Beast - Sustain that gives you some Physical critical chance as well as have a chance to cast your current level of Instill Fear on a single target on melee attacks. Costs Equilibrium, damage based on talent level and Mindpower. Cannot be used with anything in hands. Also passively provides unarmed mastery and makes gloves scale with STR and WIL.
Ravenous Hunger - Gain Hate each turn a Bleeding enemy is in range.
Fight or Flight - Trained Reactions but it costs Equilibrium.
Beastly Form - When active, you gain a stack of Seethe and Grim Resolve (if you know them) automatically and Intimidate enemies around you.

Modifies Celestials' Bathe in Light talent to affect only the caster and actors not hostile to the caster.

Forgo arms to ravage your foes with fist and claw.
While unarmed, you gain all the weapon/shield bonuses of Surge, Cleave, and Repel.
Surge, Cleave, and Repel are no longer mutually exclusive while you are unarmed and will not put the other talents on cooldown when activated. If you equip a weapon while any of these are active, they will deactivate.
Attacks which would strike with a mainhand weapon or shield will use your unarmed stats for the weapon and/or shield attack.
Weapons Mastery will apply to unarmed combat and Willpower will be used in place of Dexterity as a damage modifier for gloves and gauntlets.
You learn the Grappling talent tree, unlocked at 1.3 mastery. Stamina cost for these talents is converted to Hate (at a ratio of 4:1).

Description

This addon replaces ToME's floating combat text:
- Shows the damage type (lightning, etc.) as icons or text!
- Text moves in a consistent direction and should be much easier to read than ToME's default for a variety of reasons.
- Can group damage for an entire player turn, or by every action taken - choose how much information you want to see!
- Various font sizes to choose from
- Various font coloring options (color by major damage type, use the default red / green, etc.)
- Text duration can be changed to fit your play style.

Custom Edit

The original addon is great, but I was always frustrated with the excessive amount of floating talent text and other garbage that just wasn't relevant to combat.
All of the yellow lines drowned out the actual combat damage numbers and it made me not want to use it. This custom edit gives you an option in the settings area to disable this text, and it is off by default.

Installation:

* For Steam users: subscribe to this mod
* From site: Download the '%mod_name%.teaa' file and copy them to Game Addon directory: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\TalesMajEyal\game\addons
Check (or set) Auto: Active status on this mod in 'Addons' tab on start screen

Prevents worms that walk from being spawned.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack adds a screen widget that displays all of the life totals of nearby, non-party characters.

Background: Originally, I wanted to use this as a surprise feature for cool boss fights I had in mind... Until the GENERAL usefulness occurred to me. Hope you appreciate it!

• Features can be toggled in: "(Menu)" > "Game Options" --> "[Nekarcos]"

Modifies the Command Staff talent to work on a staff wielded in the offhand, psionic focus or other non-mainhand slot. If you are wielding multiple staffs, the talent will prompt you to choose one to modify.

Places a special object on level 3 of Lake of Nur that will help you in your fight with the Weirdling Beast.

Adds a new class evolution for Bulwark, the Juggernaut.

As a Juggernaut, the Bulwark gains the ability to equip shields in the off hand and main hand simultaneously and Weapons Mastery will apply to shields.

While equipped with two shields:

- You may use Rush while sustaining Last Stand.
- When you use Rush, you will instantly trigger Repulsion, ignoring and negating cooldown.
- For 1 turn after using Rush, you will reduce all incoming non-Mind damage by 50% of your Block value.
